The Boston and Watertown bombings and shootings

So you would risk everyone elses life, just to protect your right? That is being ignorant. For all they know, you could of been hiding that jackass in your house. They dont know that, they wanted to make sure that he wasnt in anyones house. As cp702 said, they would have no problem busting your door down. I, myself, are a damn proud american. I believe in my rights, but if there is a fucking terrorist in MY county/State/City and the Police wanted to make sure he isnt in my house, i would gladly let them. Its called respect. Id rather let them do it then and there, then waste their time getting a search warrant when the guy could be doing another attack at a different place.

I guess the jews should of respected the Nazis then right?  get real everyone has a right to liberty but those who trade liberty for security deserve NEITHER I cant believe the ignorance of some people on here yeah ok just trample my rights no problem! come on in no its not just my rights its EVERYONES rights the founding fathers didn't fight for this country for MY right but for EVERYONES, I would suggest to some people to do more research into history and how a police state actually starts and look at the deaths it cause......watch the movie v for vendetta

Hey stop the flaming here people.... Anyways, I managed to listen to one of the MSP scanners which went online 20 minutes before the suspect was arrested. The moment I heard the words "Suspect in Custody" I was celebrating. Literally jumping up and down shout he is in custody in the house as if I won 2 million dollars. My dad was like are you crazy son??? LOL. He is still in hospital and in serious condition. Job well done to the FBI, Boston swat. It was an amazing feat by them.

You probably won't get much more than the helicopter shots that CNN & FOX got or amateur camera-phone videos for a while. This city's seen enough blood for now.

...seriously? Five people died. Five families have seen their loved ones ripped away. And you're thinking about how it could be entertaining for you?

You don't need to do anything except stop posting because you're starting to piss me and other Massachusetts residents off. You know who thinks he's not dead? The same people who think the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings were a hoax, and his muslim family who are writing to Russian news papers that the FBI set Tamerman and his brother up and they were totally innocent and did nothing. There is no conspiracy, they were guilty and like people who don't believe the JFK or Martin Luther King assassination theories, you can't settle down and accept the truth. One answer doesn't satisfy you. As a Massachusetts resident, the very fact that you posted that makes me sick.

You mean the little bit of text? Yes, I agree. Hopefully whoever got that URL keeps it and doesn't change the content.

I'm pretty sure they got it in order to squat out conspiracy theorists. I think the only way it'll change is if the registration expires and someone else gets it, which won't happen for at least a year.

Actually Darkangel that video is real, but the chief of the police department that made the arrest said it was wrongful arrest they made based on it being someone who fit the description. They stripped him naked to make sure he had no bombs on him since at the time there was still an ongoing explosives hunt. But in any case, it's another citizen. They won't release who it is due to the man's constitutional right to privacy. The man would have to elect to come forward which may never happen.

I'm not going to take sides on this, but is it too much for people to ask questions about important events? My biggest fear isn't whether or not this was done by lone nuts or if they were used as patsys for whatever agenda will be pushed, but instead that these "exigent circumstances" will be used more often as excuses. As an example, before 9/11, a senator who would've suggested giving the president the power to drone strike US citizens on US soil would've been tried for treason. Today, that is accepted.

Perhaps instead of cussing people out due to having different beliefs and calling them "dumbass conspiracy theorists", help answer their questions. Who knows? They might even give you something to think about.

Flaming doesn't solve anything, rational debate does.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

The problem is that most conspiracy theorists don't want to accept a single answer to a question and will continue to be suspicious even after being faced with counter arguments. There's a big website that counters that 9/11 movie "Loose Change" point by point, and that didn't do any good to stop conspiracy theorists from mouthing off. As an example, the movie points out that the steel used to build the towers have a melting point of such and such (I can't remember), but they don't take into account  that steel loses half of its strength at much lower temperatures, meaning it would collapse under its own weight, plus the weight of all the other building materials, people and the air plane itself. People still debate the JFK assassination, the Pearl Harbor bombings, even the Holocaust of all things. Some people deny those events happened the way they are written, or even happened at all.

I'm not about to sit here and say I think every traumatic event the U.S. has gone through has been explained 100% clearly by our government, and quite frankly I think there are some things that need to be handled quietly for the protection of the public and world peace. But to suggest that the 9/11 attacks were an inside job, or that the Russians killed the president or that Martin Luther King was killed by army snipers, or suggest that the Holocaust never happened; there's no kinder word for it than 'absurd'.

There was a recent documentary that I watched a couple of times and for that matter enjoyed, called 'The World According to Dick Cheney'. It brings a lot of political events and decisions made by our government into question, and one recurring point that Mr. Cheney makes is that the common theme for the Bush/Cheney government was that they were going to make decisions that may not have been popular among the people but needed to be done to protect our country and its citizens. Some things that went into motion I disagreed with, but others that did not go into motion anger me in a way. As an example, the U.S. discovered a nuclear reactor in Pakistan (I believe) that was installed to make material for atomic bombs for North Korea. It was not being used for electricity because there were no lines connecting to anything. Cheney wanted to take it out immediately. Condoleezza Rice opted for "talks" with North Korea. And look where we are today with North Korea. The most hostile relationship we've been in with them in years, perhaps decades. He also covered Guantanamo Bay, where some bad treatment of prisoners took place. While I disagree with some alleged methods of interrogation, I don't have a problem with others, and agree that if we had the option of putting a detainment facility off of U.S. soil to avoid giving war criminals and other high priority prisoners of war some of the same rights as a U.S. citizen, I'd look into doing that too, in the interest of the safety of our country. Mind you we aren't kidnapping random people from currently neutral countries and taking them to prison to gain information about their governments. We're in combat with a hostile country that has launched dirty attacks against innocent civilians in multiple countries (even their own) based on the fact that they don't like our support of Israel or our cultural ideology and want to make a statement in the name of their religion.

Okey okey

will be there Shootout Footage from police dashcams?

if not why?

when there is too many dashcam footages at youtube

Be Creative

Most likely not because it's a sensitive issue to a lot of people right now, and police officers wouldn't point their cruisers directly facing a gun fight, that's just stupid. There's probably footage of the suspects truck driving away to another location but that's about it.

Police dashcam footage is not public by default. You have no right to see it. If the guy's family wanted to see it, that'd be one thing, but I see no reason why this guy's death should be publicly posted. Again, this situation is not entertainment; 5 real people are actually dead.

If it is poised to alter constitutional rights, we should have every right to see the footage. Allow people to view the tapes, and have warnings beforehand. Primetime is usually more violent anyways.

Dashcams are too blurry to show explicit detail most of the time anyways, especially at night.
