the wii u wont be getting gta v plane and simple.

rockstar is going to do with they think is best business wise and releasing it on the wii u really wouldn't be a smart move

simply for the fact of the nature of the console

its geared more to soft core players in general more then anything

gta v is a more mature game.

anyways rockstar has taken gambles with niteindo before and i dont think they'll be releasing their core game on the wii u

the only way they'll release it on the wii u is if Nintendo gives rockstar a bunch of money like Microsoft did to get it onto their console and get some sort of dlc before everybody else. 

in reality the most likely contender i see getting gta v after xbox and ps3 is pc, simply because that's nature.

You're making assumptions.

This is just one picture, the game isn't finished and they might aswell have used a lower texture resolution for testing purpose, or used a distance model for the cars.

 

You are not in the skin on the developers, don't act as if you are.

No, as usual we PC players will have to wait 9 months for a PC release.

 

Now comes the hard choice of what platform to buy GTA V on while we wait for PC release. PS3 or Xbox 360... probably PS3 because I don't have Live on my Xbox

The screen with the airliner and F-16...why does the F-16 have two tails?  The F-16, every variant produced, has only one tail.  YIKES!! :-I

 

Like some weird Mig-29/F-16 hybrid.  Damn, don't know if I can buy this game now...

Maybe it's a F/A-18

Nope.  F/A-18s are very distinctive...so is the F-16.  It's basically an F-16, with a dual tail setup....unless it's a strange angle and there is another F-16 in a close spread formation and it just looks like the the A/C closest to the camera has two tails.  Don't think so though.  The F-16 tail sits on top of the engine, and you can see that the first tail is on the outboard side of the engine (F-16s are single engine).

 

Anyhow, kinda goofy.  Maybe it's some new variant that was scrambled outta Nellis or Area-51.  Who the hell knows.  Although the only reason to have two tails is because you have two engines, which is a Navy requirement...so why use some non-existant model?  The US Navy don't fly F-16s, and the US Air Force don't generally use twine engine fighter aircraft (few exceptions granted).  I guess we'll find out soon enough...ok, not soon enough.

You have to remember that Rockstar doesn't have the licensing to put any real-world vehicle in the game.

 

Hence why its got two tails, its a mock up of a F/A-18 or F16.

 

Same goes for most cars in the GTA universe, the Oracle in IV has a very strong resemblance to a BMW and the convertible seen in the V trailer has features from an Audi R8
