  • We need a PC version of the game first.

  • no there will not be lspdfr for gta 6 just like there was no lcpdfr for gta 5

  • There needs to be lspdfr for ps5 and Xbox.  I've been wanting to try this mod for a little while but I don't have a PC I would really appreciate it if they could have it across all platforms

Modding isn't exactly possible on consoles...

it might take a while because rockstar might make the console period long or could just make it purposely hard to mod gta 6 [like we've seen happen before with gta 5]

I really hope they don't, I see no reason why they would want to make it difficult to mod. Or is there a reason they would do this?

Enshittification [in my own definition, it is the purposeful decrease in quality or release of purposely bad quality products, decisions or features for the sake to increase stock shares or to appease shareholders and investors, usually these bad decisions or features are exclusivity features, and stuff like that]

I'm sure this will never happen. You will have to go with a LSPDFR-Clone like "Police Simulator: Patrol Officer".

(Next month releases "The Precinct", also on consoles. Check it out!)

I think that LSPDFR could really greatly improve the gaming experience for not just PC players but xbox series x and PS 5 players as a hol.

Unless Xbox and Sony get on board with being able to mod consoles (if even possible), you wont even see this mod come to console. Just PC.

As discussed at length on other Forum Posts saying the same thing. This simply is just not possible with the current way LSPDFR Operates. You cannot do the same things on Console as you can on PC in terms of Modding (& many other things) due to a laundry list of reasons, if you want to learn why, Google it.

Unless Rockstar, in all of their greed, release a framework for Modding on Consoles that would be compatible with LSPDFR, this is a big negative. And even if they did create a Native Framework for GTA VI, who knows what it would entail for the Developers of LSPDFR in order to get the Mod to work on Consoles. Either way, it would not be an easy task.

Secondly, with the amount of Buttons that are in use with LSPDFR on PC, I have absolutely no Idea how they would make it work with a Console Controller. Granted, I have heard that Modern Gen Consoles can be used with Keyboards now, but I have no way to verify that is true because I haven't owned a Console in 10 Years.

All this said, in it's current state, LSPDFR is too complex to even consider trying to make for Consoles for many reasons, including the fact that Consoles natively are not Friendly to Mods that dive into a Games Files like LSPDFR does when you install Custom Cars, Scenery, Callouts, ect. They encrypt Game Files and cannot decrypt them like we can with Software on PC, they have a closed infrastructure, and Console Companies do not OWN the Games they sell, they have a LICENSE to sell the Games. I can almost guarantee you that Major Development Studios have a Clause in their licensing agreements to Sony and Microsoft saying that allowing Modifications to the Game would, at least, result in the loss of the License and, at most, result in Legal action.

Just like when you buy a Game on Steam, you do not "own" the Game, you have a License to play the Game, hence, the EULA. Same principal.
