Well, lately, there have been posts about who is actually apolice officer and stuff like that.

So, for those of you not in law enforcement and those of you who do not have a job, what is your occupation and why did you choose it? For those of you w/out a job, what are your plans, if any, for a future career?

I am really curious about the other members on LCPDFR that play it for entertainment and lead completely different roles in life than what they do while using LCPDFR. Finally, why do you play LCPDFR?

For example,

What is my job?

I am not old enough to have a "job" However, I work full time in the summer as a surf camp instructor and that brings in a sustainable amount of cash for me to save up for a car.

Why do I play LCPDFR?

My goal is to become a police officer/S.D. once I graduate college with, hopefully, a criminal justice degree. I play LCPDFR to keep myself from going crazy as I slowly inch closer in age to the requirement. Also, I find it fun because there isnt a consequence to shooting the occasional LC A-Hole in the face. :D

So, what about you guys???

I want to be an accountant... is that weird?

I don't have a paying job but I consider my volunteer work with the Forest Service my job.

I play LCPDFR because I want to become a sheriff's deputy after coming out of the Marine Corps. It's the closest game to the real thing out there. I word of advice Beckugan1 you might want to look into a business administration degree instead of criminal justice degree. Criminal justice degrees are a dime a dozen in the law enforcement feild. If you get the business dregree, like I am, you would stick out a lot more and have a greater and faster chance to promote through the ranks. That's what I've been plannig on doing and also advice officers that I've talk to have given me.

Playing LCPD:FR because i got hooked while watching youtube videos.

Concidering applying to either The Norwegian police academy (PHS) or prison academy. This is just MAYBE, have to see what "future me" wants.

Yeah @fuel881 I am using a CJ as a basis right now. As I progress further into HighSchool I will learn more about optimum courses for a specific career and will choose accordingly. Thanks for the advice.

And also, I did not include this in my OG but since I will be sixteen in July, I will be applying to be a LBLG or Laguna Beach Lifeguard. I really LOVE my job as an instructor but I need more of an adrenaline rush and a little more cash. So, if all goes well, the summer after next will have me in a tower and not behind a surfboard :D

So, depending on my LG experience, I may go into EMS or FD instead of LE but for now I am sticking with police.

I want to be an Air Traffic Controller. I started playing because my dad was a cop and I saw the vids on youtube.

Future Job: Roads Policing Officer in the Sussex Police (Basically a Traffic Cop who drives the sexy BMW's and Volvo's)

Reason: I siply love the fact that you can see all kind of diffrent Countrys and be on the road for quite some time. A friend of mine is a full time driver since 5 Years and ever since he took me on a ride i knew that this is exactly what i want to do.

I am studiyng Police Technology at college to become a police officer. I'm on my third and last year of studies.

I've alreay started the process to enter in my province police force.

Funny thing, I am actually a Pizza Delivery guy, I have my Truck Driver licence though, but due to some documentation issues, I can't cross the Canada/US border so I can't work in that industry right now, but I am working on getting my documentation sorted out.

I'm currently still in full time education, but am planning to progress into the IT/Gaming industry after getting a degree in either of the two at university.

I've always been interested in law enforcement and the emergency services and just love playing LCPDFR for that.

Its really neat hearing about everyones future goals and current stuff. I love LCPDFR because of its diversity of players. Not everyone wants to be a cop and some are actuallly cops. Personally, my goal is to be a police officer but honestly, as I move further through highschool, maybe i want to be something else.

I know for a fact that some point in my life I will be superman. No doubt. Maybe even Santa Clause. But only time will tell. :D

No, not really. Your "superiors" (if you can call them that) mostly leave you alone and you only have to work for certain sections of the year, the rest you get to take off. Sounds pretty sweet to me.

You know what's an awesome job too? test driver? xD i mean drive awesome cars and get money for it. that has to rock xD

I'm planning to go into computer engineering or software development when I graduate university, but at the time I'm a full time student. I don't think I'll ever really become a police officer, but I still love to play LCPD:FR because I love emergency services and all that jazz.

I'm a Tow Truck Driver studying for my Class 3 then gonna move onto my Class 1.
