If this plugin does have any bugs, please dont hesitate and lmk. I spent hours and almost a day on this plugin. Testing and debugging to make sure its atleast playable

As said in the description if ya'll have any suggestions i will be taking all of them into consideration and will be implementing them into the next update. QOL updates might come in the next few days or hours depending on feedback

Coming Soon: Code 3/Code 2 Backup Response & Enhanced Audio

The next major update will make resistance events even more immersive with two key features:

1. Dynamic Backup System

• Automatic Backup Calls: When suspects resist arrest, your character will automatically call for appropriate backup
• Response Severity Based on Threat: Code 3 (lights & sirens) for armed suspects, Code 2 for unarmed resistance
• AI Officer Assistance: Responding units will help subdue the resisting suspect
• Configurable Options: Control backup frequency and response type through the INI file

2. Immersive Audio Enhancement

• Radio Calls: Realistic radio chatter when calling for backup during resistance
• Environmental Sound Effects: Enhanced struggle sounds during physical resistance
• Weapon Drawing Audio: Distinctive sounds when suspects pull weapons

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! An updated version is now pending approval with some behind-the-scenes improvements. The gameplay remains the same, but I've made two small changes to improve the overall experience:

1. Moved the README file to the correct location for easier access
2. Updated the company information in the .dll file properties

This is just my suggestion, if you and other officers cannot subdue the suspect--you or the other officers will call more higher law enforcement agencies like FIB, NOOSE or the national guard and they will have more capacity in restraining the suspect like deploying juggernauts when the situation gets too overwhelming and they will have their own audio or radio chatter regarding the current situation thanksss:)

When do ya'll want the next gameplay update aka the big one that i teased

I was testing it and it's not working for me. I do see the notification "suspect is resisting" but arrest either went smoothly or whatever happened next looked very much like Stop the Ped resistance. Should I share RPH log?

Yea so one of the chances is running away if the suspect is not armed then he'll do nothing. In the next update ill polish it more for it to be more cleaner.

But yea if you could share the log that would help

Yep, just open ResistPlus.ini and set ChanceToResist to whatever you want—like 20 for 20%. I'm not doing videos as for right now, but creators are totally welcome to make one!

Thank you! I spotted the 2 errors, fixing the bugs now! ill let ya'll know once its fixed and to update it.

Alright I've fixed the error that was reported in the logs (thanks Armouredivision!). It was just a minor thread shutdown issue that didn't affect gameplay. The update is pending approval and I'll let you know when it's live!

And sorry if I sound sceptical but how will it be different from the resistance system already built into Stop the Ped?

Stop the Ped's resistance is basic, while ResistPlus adds armed suspects drawing weapons, configurable resistance chances, and more realistic animations, all working automatically without needing menus.

The update for ResistPlus is now live! Fixed the shutdown error that was reported - thanks for your feedback! Plugin should run even smoother now

My findings after adjusting the config.

# % chance a suspect will resist arrest (0 to 100)

ChanceToResist = 25% - outcome -  no resist after 12 arrest
ChanceToResist =50% - outcome -  no resist after 8 arrest
ChanceToResist =100% - outcome -  no resist after 4 arrests 

This is using Stop The Ped arresting menu
