    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication
  • [NEW] Lite Menu Based Computer System
    • Run record checks, issue citations, summons, and create arrest reports with the new computer system

      • IMPORTANT! Do not edit/add any new main root entries (eg direct descendants of the "Main" root). They will not be recognized by my plugin

  • Traffic Stop Questions
    • [NEW] Traffic stop questioning menu, replaces default LSPDFR+ one
      • To use, approach a car on a traffic stop and press the interaction key (default "Y") to open the menu

        • Ask the driver for their license and proof of insurance
          • If the driver has no license, a suspended license, or warrants, there is a chance they will refuse to identify themselves to you, which is arrestable.
        • Ask for passenger's identification
        • Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them)

  • Evidence
    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle
    • View stored evidence
    • Drop off stored evidence at any police station, marked by a "stash" icon on the map (pot leaf blip next to police stations)

    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence
      • Automatically recognizes when you store drugs in evidence and makes them available for testing

  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.
    • Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable)
  • [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System
    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file
    • Active court cases options
      • View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing
    • Past court cases options
      • View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries
    • Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges
    • [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence.
      • You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash
    • [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration

 

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

Hmm not sure where Computer+ gets its license info from, I use the LSPDFR api to generate all info for the peds to try and keep consistent. In the future when I add ped preivious arrests/tickets, it will vary from what Computer+ says as it will draw charges from my XML files. And thank you, I try to get it as smooth as possible 🙂 its hard with such a large plugin and highly variable playing environments

 

Do you personally use Computer+ at all? Just trying to decide if it's even worth it at this point and just use the one in this mod. So many keybinds to make sure are all free/compatible.

Yes. You need to create an arrest report on the computer in the vehicle if they've been arrested. If it's just a citation/summon, create it in the computer and give it to the ped before you end the call/dismiss them.

Nah I personally don't use it, I actually developed the computer addon because I was tired of C+ crashing to desktop all the time, not sure if that issue has been fixed yet. However C+ provides more information than this plugin will such as addresses. My computer system will have past charges/citations as well as evidence integration in the next update hopefully

The intoxication setting is still inconsistent. I have it set to 0 again, and there are still back-to-back intoxicated peds.

If I were to set up a patreon for Interaction+ which would be set at a low price and allow access to early releases and upcoming beta builds, how many people would be interested in this? With the upcoming planned updates and new features I figured now would be a good time to ask

Hmm I am at a loss then, I have made it consistent with both STP and Traffic Policer APIs:

There must be an error in one of these plugins affecting the setting of these values. Keep in mind that my plugin does not set the intoxication values without first getting confirmation that the ped is intoxicated from one of these two plugins, and the modifier simply tries to lower the amount of intoxication set by these plugins, but it doesn't seem to work. Do you know if there is less incidence of intoxication without I+ installed?

I had a traffic stop where a passenger got out when it was ended; I had STP'd another passenger out and arrested them on warrants, dismissed the driver with a warning, and they jumped out as the car drove away.

I'm interested. I'm not sure about the early access, but the beta builds sounds good as a perk.

 

You should also let contributors suggest new features through Patreon.

How often does this happen? It is probably similar to the issue when ordering the driver out all the passengers got out before. It seems to happen when traffic stops are ended through the LSPDFR API, I haven't personally seen this bug happen but it has been reported before

I usually don't get a lot of traffic stops with passengers, so I'm not sure how often it would. Can probably mess around sometime soon with pulling over every car with passengers I can to see.

Charges after arrest sometimes doesn't work. I think the traffic stop ends and that clears info. I know the computer system is lite, but is preferable. Please continue to update the computer system. Another thing would be to tie the court system into ComputerPlus.

 

Finally, could the sentencing system be adjusted. Its not common for people to go to prison for more than 5yrs for conviction of even several charges, unless it involves a violent crime like robbery, aggravated battery, murder, etc. Another possibility is to add a possibility the offender pleads guilty, which could act as a class to control sentencing.

 

Interaction+ is now a "Must-have" addition to LSPDFR. So please continue to work on it when you can.

I've only ever had issues with charges not working when the console displays: "Interaction+ Trace 64". (Still not really sure what it is though. It can also prevent the Interaction+ menu from working completely.) I believe a few people reported this in the past but it only seems to happen once in a blue moon anyway.

I'm sure Phaxol won't mind me sharing that currently the sentence time is random:

- For misdemeanors, peds can get community service or 3 days to 1 year in jail per charge

- For felonies, peds can get a sentence of 1-5 years per charge

- For life charges, such as homicide, the offender can get 25 years to life without parole

 

The total time served is found by adding these together.

You'll ideally want to create the arrest report before you call for prisoner transport or drop them at the station.

I recommend writing arrest reports while you currently have the ped on scene, as this adds a persistence to the computer entry to where it won't be scheduled for deletion until the ped is transported/despawned/dropped off. In the next update sentencing parameters will be heavily integrated with evidence you collect as well as any priors that are present for the ped, and will be weighted appropriately

If you use Interaction+, STP and Ultimate Backup then really LSPDFR+ plus offers very little in the way of features that you don't already have and without careful editing, it can also include conflicts with keybinds. Try them all out for yourself and see which works best for you. I no longer use LSPDFR+ for the aforementioned reasons.

Getting an intermittent crash when I pull someone over and walk up to their window. I see the pop up window about using Interaction+'s traffic stop menu and then crash.

I think it's the reason for many of the crashes I encounter. I'm gonna throw it away.

The ped got stuck on my police car once. I walked a straight line in front of her before I press Y to confirm it, and somehow the lady decided that she's gonna walk around; I can't move my character until she walks back, so I just awkwardly stared at her keep hitting my patrol car, trying to get over it...

I will look into adding error handling to this function to stop the crash, is there anything in common with these crashes that you can tell?

The ped got stuck on my police car once. I walked a straight line in front of her before I press Y to confirm it, and somehow the lady decided that she's gonna walk around; I can't move my character until she walks back, so I just awkwardly stared at her keep hitting my patrol car, trying to get over it...

Just found the cause, there was a bug that if the ped is stuck but still moving, their task is still in progress so my plugin doesn't perform a timeout check after 10 seconds. Bug will be fixed next release, then after 10 seconds of the ped being stuck (might lower timeout) they will be teleported to the right position and the test will continue

@Phaxol Do you have plans to incorporate mulitple charge types? What I mean is I had a few calls mainly thanks to LSPDFR Comes Alive where a person would kill 2 or 3 people but I can only charge them for 1 homicide. Do you have plans to incorporate a way of giving them multiple murder charges and stuff? Like if a person beats the shit out of 5 people it would be nice to give them 5 charges of Aggravated Battery haha
