NoPanic Your gunfire does not make everyone panic. NPC gunfire still does, for anyone on foot. What it does In normal GTA, any gunshot panics everybody nearby, including from your own gun. For roleplay this is awkward, because you point a weapon at one suspect and the whole street runs off before anything happens. NoPanic fixes that with two simple rules. When you fire, the crowd stays where it is. Nobody panics, nobody scatters. Note that this includes the person you shoot. They hold their ground too rather than running off, because the plugin stops the fear reaction for everyone nearby, not just bystanders. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. When an NPC fires, people on foot still panic like they normally would. But drivers and passengers do not. A firefight clears the street of people without emptying it of cars. The plugin does not touch health or damage, and it does not make anyone better or worse at shooting. It only changes the fear reaction. Checking it is working The plugin is very quiet by default and only writes to the log if something goes wrong. If you want to see it working, open NoPanic.ini, set DeveloperMode to true and restart the game. You should then find lines about NoPanic in RagePluginHook.log in your GTA V folder. Or just shoot and see if people go running.
