A quick little plugin I threw together for my livestreams to help with scene management chaos....

 

What is it?

This is a simple tool that will allow you to delete the closest vehicle to you, similar to the /dv scripts you get in FiveM. It can be used alongside other scene management mods to clear vehicles out the way so you can place cones or road blocks. I plan to use this along with Automatic Roadblocks by yoep or Scene Manager by Rich et al. 

 

Why not use a trainer? 
While it is possible to delete vehicles in trainers, like Menyoo or Simple Trainer, I wanted a quick and simple way for me to do this at the press of a button, especially when I am livestreaming and chaos has ensued.

 

Features: 

 - Stand next to a vehicle and press the key binding (Shift + L by default) to delete that vehicle

 - Protection mode (can disable in .ini) to prevent deleting your own vehicle or emergency vehicles

 

Known issues: 

  • Driver is not deleted with vehicle if stop or slow traffic is activated in Stop The Ped

Requirements: 
Rage Plugin Hook

This is independent from and does not require LSPDFR

 

Installation: 

  1. Copy the plugins folder into your "Grand Theft Auto V" install folder
  2. Edit the key bindings and other options in the .ini to meet your requirements

    I haven't seen this before. Is there anything special about the vehicle or the person in it? 
    For example is is a specific vehicle that is affected? 

    Could it be spawned in by LSPDFR or a callout pack / plugin which may be keeping hold of the ped?

    All I can say is the car weren't spawn by a callout, but were in the radius of stop the ped traffic stop or slow down feature. I’ll try to upload a video if I can reproduce it.

    Ah - OK - I'll do some tests with the traffic stopped. 

    One thought - do you use the keep calm option in STP? I don't think I have that enabled and I am wondering if the keep calm takes control of the ped which is why it does not get deleted. I'll test that out too as there must be a way for me to find peds in a car and delete them before deleting the car.

    OK - yes it is an issue with Stop the Ped, I assume taking control of the driver to stop the vehicles. Passengers seem unaffected. 

     

    I'll start looking for a way to grab the driver of the vehicle I target in my code and delete them before deleting the car. Leave it with me and I'll try to get a fix ASAP.

    Can anyone here help me fix my game crash, I am currently having an issue where every time I spawn an fbi2 vehicle my game crashes. I accidentally clicked on my update folder on open iv show in mods folder instead of doing it in my mods folder. Any suggestions? Do I need to replace my vehicle.meta file? Please share a link I would appreciate it! Much love ❤️

    If your vehicle meta was wrong, your game won’t even pass the loading screen. Maybe you have a pack install replacing the FBI2 slot that is buggy. Sometimes addon vehicle will replace some base game vehicle slot like the police, police2, police3 etc….so I would check inside any addon pack you have install. If not I suggest removing all your installed cars, and car packs and start fresh with a new main game vehicle meta.

    There is another plugin call "Clean All the things"

     

    It dismisses vehicles and peds in a given area (rather than delete one by one) but has a command "RemoveAllBlips" which should remove blips after a crash.

    This plugin is no longer working if you also have charlie686 callout pack installed, will crash on start up just so you are aware.
