    Hi 
     
    I believe you will need to edit the files in LSPDFR/data/custom as well as those in plugins/LSPDFR/UltimateBackup
     
    Check out the Jurisdictions + mod as that will show you the exact files and may actually provide the Jurisdictions you want anyway.

    There's a lot of changes to vehicle structures in the latest update, but I wouldn't have thought these would make it impossible for that mod to be fixed to work on the latest patch.
    LSPDFR and RPH also had to account for and fix vehicle specific structures/memory offsets in the most recent update.
     
    The plugin seems to be open source though, hopefully someone with the time and expertise could help them out with it.

    Apologies if this has already been requested - I did a search before posting...
     
    The new "Updated" and "Downloaded" tags on the downloads are amazing. When trying to maintain our installs and ensure we have the latest updates. 
     
    It would be good if this could be built into the filter system so that, for example we could see all the updated files we need to update or even hide the downloaded ones so we only see stuff we haven't tried yet 🙂

    Well, now it HAS been announced (for console in 2025) I am looking forward to the PC release in circa 2028 (if I am still alive by then) and the equivalent ..PDFR mods so that we can go arrest that crocodile/alligator for tresspassing 🤣

    Just an update, @LMS has identified the issue in RAGE Plugin Hook and a fix is being tested and will be released when it's ready.

    I think its a LSPDFR bug, there are a few right now (apartement bug, character dies), which the LSPDFR Team propably tries to solve the next days now after the christmas days.

    I've not had a chance to test this, but based on the troubleshooting everyone else has done I'm assuming it's an LSPDFR bug. Perhaps something has been changed or deleted around apartments or maybe a hook or pattern has failed.
     
    I'm not too familiar with the apartment system, so even if I have a chance to look at this I'm unlikely to fix it quickly.
    With the festive season there is probably going to be a delay around fixing this if it's an LSPDFR bug. I can only speak for myself but I will have probably no free time in the coming days, the situation is probably similar with the rest of the development team. Sorry about that.

    Was about to post a new topic as I am having this exact same issue. 
     
    When RPH is loaded but LSPDFR is not loaded - I can die over and over without issue. 
    When LSPDFR is loaded - game crashes to desktop with a 0xc0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION)
    No errors in RPH log. 
     
    I have tried clean install of GTA, fresh install of LSPDFR on the clean install with the RPH that is included. 
    No other plugins or mods, no mods folder, Just RPH and LSPDFR. 
     
    I can include full crash logs if that will help.

    I loved Albo's mods and actually stopped playing for a while once they started to not work as well after he retired. When I came back, the only thing I could not find a replacement for from Albo's old mods was the ability to change pullover location.
     
    With agreement from Albo, this was pulled out into a mod called "custom pullover" (It is still Albo's code so all credit to him).
     
    There is another mod that expands on this to do the same as above but also include parking tickets and may grow more in the future called "Real Police Plugin": 
     
    Other than that, all the other features get addressed in Bejojio's plugins others.
     
    I stopped needing the police radio (to my wifes annoyance) once I started talking to dispatch using "VocalDispatch", but that is not everyones cup of tea...
    I found it great as I could continue running away like a coward while calling for backup.

    There are several speedometer mods out there some just text and others graphical. 
     
    For speed limits on particular roads - I have seen a couple of mods but they were not very accurate. I used to use something called Rage ShowMyLocation as that had a speed limit option as well as a speedo. 
     
    Speeders: I recommend Speed Radar Light by Bejojio: https://www.bejoijo.com/post/speed-radar-lite but this is only in vehicle. I think there are some mods that offer a radar while standing by the road but not tried any I am afraid.

    I have found others trying to do the same but nobody with the actual answer to what I am trying to find. 
     
    My aim is to mute the police scanner you hear in the background in the police cars so that we just get the LSPDFR radio messages and those from other mods like "Ambient AI Callouts", "xScanner" or "More Radio Chatter". 
     
    I have managed to find and mute all the actual radio sounds (police_scanner.rpf) but you still hear the intro/outro sounds. I believe they should be somewhere in resident.rpf but I have searched high and low but cannot find them. frontend.awc is the closest I could find but they are not the right ones. 
     
    So unfortunately you can still hear the intro/outro beeps in the background just without the chatter. Has anyone had any luck locating these files in the past? I know they are used by LSPDFR in the audio scanner directory I just cannot find the ones to mute in the rpf files.

    This is a thread to discuss about, request functions & support and show WIP development for my plugin BasicParkingEnforcement!
    Feel free to put anything you have in your mind in the comments!
     
    What is going into the next release?
    - Texture based tickets/parking meters/permits (more on that below)
    - Way to select if you want the textures or ticket etc. display we have now in the ini
    - Being able to set streets as parking meter streets (texture included)
    - Adding parking permits in addition to pay&display tickets (randomly ;))
    - Ability to set probabilities for expired/no ticket/attack/etc. in the ini
    - ...
     
    So to start this off, what do you think of having textures like these instead of the display over the map?:
     


     
    !!I will remove the "Expires time" on the permit and just leave the date, just wanted to put this out here!

    Howdy! I'm currently creating a parking enforcement plugin for LSPDFR. The logic is almost finished, but I don't know a lot about the exact parking offenses in the US.
    The plugin will include a file to edit the offenses that one can use on citations.
    I'd like to include a basic "offenses" file with the release though. So if anybody is interested in helping me with a list of US parking offenses (things like parking close to intersection, parking on sidewalk, basically anything that is realistic and that you could find vehicles doing in GTA /w Lspdfr) + fines for them, please hook me up and I'll answer your questions & give you details! I will obviously include you on the script's page.
    The plugin will include a detailed "pay and display" (it's very confusing that the thing you put behind your windshield is called parking ticket, yet if you don't have one you'll get a ticket for that :)) system, offenses for not having one/having an expired one (will display for how long) will be needed as well ^^

    Not quite what you are talking about, but there is a mod called "Force a callout" which has an option to mark yourself busy (so you don't go code 4 or get another call until you are ready). As well as allowing you to force a callout you can cancel a callout at any time. I found the "Busy" hotkey really handy before Grammar Police - I now prefer talking 🙂
     
     
    There was also an Officer Status Menu which had all the to codes in menu format for you to select your status at any time. This is no longer developed as the replacement works alongside Grammar Police. But it may still work? 
     
     
     
    The replacement, immersive Dispatch supports Grammar Police but works independently so it is not a requirement so maybe that may give you some of what you want in a menu form?

    You can easily set up a FiveM/ FivePD server on your machine to play with friends. 
    There are multiple guides online, even if you don't even know what a port is. It suits everyone.
     
    FivePD is still in development though, but quite far advanced for how short it has been out.
