Siren Mastery is a script modification that allows you to master your siren tones. Toggle to your secondary siren at the press of a key/button, silence your siren using any key/button you like and even control exactly which 'secondary' siren plays! You can be up and running with Siren Mastery within 5 minutes (installation tutorial click HERE).

Requirements - some of these are included (credits go to their appropriate authors):

  • Albo1125.Common 6.6.4.0 or higher (included)
  • RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher (not included)
  • NAudio 1.8.0.0 (included)
  • A legal copy of GTA V (version 1.0.1011.1 or above).

There is also a download to free up unneeded controller bindings so they can be used for Siren Mastery. Get it here.

Summary of current features (please check documentation carefully too):

  • Change the Siren Toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
  • Change the 'lights only' toggle key/button and assign it an optional modifier key/button.
    • This works even if your siren is off so you can control whether your siren should play before turning your lights on.
  • New 'Toggle Secondary Siren' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
    • This allows you to switch to secondary sirens without having to hold down a key/button.
  • New 'Toggle Bullhorn' key/button with an optional modifier key/button.
    • This allows you to keep sounding your bullhorn without having to hold down a key/button.
    • Works simultaneously with sirens.
  • New 'Next Siren' key/button that cycles to the next siren.
    • Can optionally include the Off state as a cycle stage.
  • Your siren now stays on when you leave your vehicle and you don't mute it.
    • This can be disabled from the GeneralConfig file.
  • Determine the siren tone that should be playing.
    • You are able to select which siren tone to play, including the ability to differentiate between secondary sirens.
  • Additional Siren Modes
    • Dual Siren Mode.
    • Manual Siren Mode.
  • Additional customisable sirens per vehicle model.
    • Allows you to have up to TEN total sirens per vehicle model.
  • Fully Functional and Customisable UI.
    • Feel free to create and release your own custom UI files.
    • The size and position of the UI can be customised via the UIConfig file.
  • Customisable Siren Switching Tones (like Siren Switch Honker).
  • Sirens are fully customisable per vehicle model via an XML file.
  • All keybindings are customisable and fully customisable controller support is included.
  • The vehicles.awc size and length limits are effectively removed while using Siren Mastery, allowing for greater siren variety.
  • British Users: You can now have British Siren Switch/Toggle sounds (in other words, horns!). Simply replace the relevant files in the Plugins/SirenMastery folder with the ones included in Siren Switch Honker's download.

THey work together if you disable ELS's siren sound controls. A tutorial will follow soon.

I could not find anything saying "defaultfor" in the vehiclesirenset.xml. Any further suggestions?

I had that problem too and if you leave default, it stacks up to eachother, so you gotta switch or replace. What I did was put the gui of sirenmastery at the topleft.

Main problem i'm having is the key-bindings use both function, so i'm trying to remove the siren-keybinding of ELS and use sirens of sirenmastery.

Please add the option to auto shutoff the siren when stepping out.

@antiboy6It has that option in the GeneralConfig.ini. The line is called: KeepSirensOnOutOfVehicle=true

Nooo that's for siren mastery I'm only using ELS, both of these together is a nightmare to control at the moment. I meant for ELS sorry.

 

I ordered a WHELEN Head Control unit. I'll convert it to usb (degutting it and Frankenstein a old Logitech keypad in it... EASY) so I can assign keypad buttons instead of using keyboard. At the the moment not even a real cop can make effective pull overs with both of the installed hahahah. So only ELS for me until my Head Control arrives... next year!

Hehe !! Well I think @Albo1125 is going to adjust it a bit and also going to make a tutorial how to combine it.

I think you should post your request on ELS mod, because Albo is here for the sirenmastery part. 

That sounds like a great project. So you're going to make a real hcu of a Whelen to communicate with LSPDFR, so you can control ELS with the hcu?

Yes HCU for LSPDFR. I ordered the one below and have a Logitech Rumble pad in my old pc hardware dungeon.

    Hi, I'm getting crash to desktops with siren mastery (rage hook crash report says it is the course). Usually it happens after I alt tab to Chrome and back to gta or anytime like that.

    Make sure to pause the game before alt tabbing out if this is happening. Regs.

    Siren mastery keeps crashing on me when I have a custom vehiclesirensetup xml file in the Siren mastery folder. I took my custom out and it works without crashing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Help Me albo. You're my only hope.

    format of the xml file. i took mine out, ran the plugin so a new one was generated, then put my setups back in one at a time. i think i have like 5 or 6 set ups but after i added them all back in it worked.

    So I changed the J key no "none" so i can toggle the els lights and also use siren mastery. So i toggle the lights with "j" and they work but when I lock the ELS, to make the sirens work with sirenmastery it's only making one short soundand its instantly resetted. Im helpless. When lights arent toggled, i can go normally for siren mastery sounds. Do I need some special sirens?

    When I use the "third" J lights, so full lights and all the shit, its toggeling the first siren and i can choose others without getting an instant reset.
