Additional Car Controls

Indicators, idle brake lights, door / hood / trunk control, window control, radio skips, slow motion, engine control. interior light control.

Summary

Very reliable and lightweight mod that is very compatible with almost all other scripts. Extremely easy to control your car with just your controller.

Definitely worth the immersion, try it for yourself!  Easy to add or remove at will.

 

Features

Holding the modifier key (X) lets you quickly execute the following:

  • Control doors, hood and trunk
  • Control windows
  • Skip radio song
  • Control turn signals (signals auto switch off after turning by default)
  • Interior light control
  • Control engine
  • Slow motion
  • Brake lights on idle (brake lights turn on when the car is on and stopped)
  • Menu for more options (control settings, individual controls)

 

LSPD:FR & Script engine control

Both LSPD:FR & this script take control of the engine after exiting, you can quickly fix it by doing either:

  • Press M and go to Vehicle Engine control and put the engine status to on instead of always on

OR

  • Press X + DpadUP (controller) and go to settings, then disable the engine control from there

 

Requires

  • ScriptHookV 1.0.372.2 or higher

Whether indicators work on custom vehicles is up to the creator of that particular model, auto-idle brakes pretty much always work though.

I've had a lot of requests to make this for keyboards, again this is not my mod, please ask the author but he's been out of reach for a while now.

can you add a button to turn Siren On/OFF for LSPDFR (without turning lights on/off) ? The "J" Button on the keyboard

    I am going to add my voice to the requests. Turning the siren off and changing tones with a button would be great.

    could you do a control for sirens on and off with lights on.  you could possibly use the down D-pad.  i have been looking for a quick way like a one push of a button for that function.  that would be awesome.

    Attempts to contact the author haven't been successful. He appears to be working on his work projects and is currently not working on this mod.
    I'll relay these suggestions as soon as I can reach him.

    thanks for at least making this, and yeah what the all above said siren on / off button for controller would sound great. Ive been waiting for controller turn signals forever !!!!!!

    Can you make the Controller Keys and the Modifier Key Configurable in the INI ?

    I know there have been a ton of people asking for this, but I figured there are good things in large numbers.  Can you please add a control for the siren and lights.  If not the lights then at least the siren please.  Thank you for spending the time you have on improving this mod!

    Anybody know of a workaround using the left turn signal as it still brings up the police computer. Holding [X] overrides all other controls but the computer.

    That is a problem with LSPDFR I'm afraid, but slight acceleration disables the computer.

    What I do, as suggested by Jeff Favignano in one of his SAPDFR videos, is use Xpadder and use RB to press J.

    hey in the future can you add the option of having a red interior light like on gta iv i know the red interior light is used to do paper work at night.thanks great mod

    Hey, that would have to be part of whatever model is in use. Whoever makes the model of the cars decides what color the lights should be 😉

    im having issues with it i can not get it to work at all other than the idle brake lights is there any way you can make it to where you can use your brake lights other than just at idle

    Use ELS. You can turn on sirens independently. J is lights and 1-9 are different sirens.

    there is this thing called siren mastery that makes non els cars els like I would love to have the siren toggle key to be switched the the xbox home button!
