8 Screenshots

VisualV is a graphic overhaul modification for Grand Theft Auto V, bringing you a completely redone time cycle, edited timecycle modificators for areas/interiors, improved color correction to add some life to Los Santos and Blaine County as well as a fixed rendering code, so your playing experience will be more smooth and nicer.

What was changed in VisualV?
- All weathers rewritten from scratch, based on a hundreds of Los Angeles photos and movies.
- Draw distance of lights was increased and they are more visible.
- Moon movement is corrected (no more moonrise at west!).
- Moon size was matched to the real world.
- Volumetric fog effect was improved, now it's stunning as it should be.
- Clouds colors, intensity and movement were built from scratch.
- Shadows under vehicles are in higher quality, so they are no more not blocky.
- Chromatic aberration and vignetting were removed from the normal gameplay.
- Lens flares are all the same for three lead characters.
- Dithering effect from the grass was removed for good, rainy weathers will make it great!
- And many, many minor fixes.

VisualV has own ReShade and ENB presets, with heat haze effect available only for VisualV.
There are few optionals improvements, check them out!

Question: Could my laptop handle this? I've got an Nvidia GTX 660M card.

Also, does this increase the brightness of daytime and nighttime non-ELS emergency lights? And increase the shine distance of them, so they light up a whole street like real life rather than 10 feet around the car.

IF I needed to uninstall this, how easy would it be? Would I have to delete my entire mods folder or just a few select files?

Yes, your laptop will handle VisualV fine.

Increased emergency lights intensity is in Radiance V compatibility pack, first install VisualV, then Radiance pack.

Uninstall files are also included.

is there a settings somewhere for weather to change on its own? It never rains or anything, its either sunny or night. Im sure i installed this correctly, you really cannot make a mistake with the installer. Im running the radiance V compatibility also.

Weather duration times are a bit longer but we didn't change weather appearance order, so don't worry about rain, weather forecats expects some rain in your game :)

I have been three consecutive nights with this mod and in no sign of the moon. Has anyone seen the moon in the sky in the middle of the night?

@Osopoderoso
Wait next few ingame days to see the moon at night, you don't see the moon every night in real life.

Can i just run the installer again and it will overwrite the oldest version? Then just add the Radiance V compatibility again ,I did not see anything in the readme about uninstalling old version.

Is there a way you can add an update notification in GTA, I ran across the update by accident. I know, full of noob questions. :)

Thank you for the new update, i know everyone appreciates the work.

@viperwolfYes, just install it and OpenIV will overwrite old files.

@cpivpack Hey, I've noticed that on the latest patch I've got a texture flashing problem after installing this, when I remove it there's no texture flashing. Is there a reasoning for this problem? And also it only occurs at night.

@Officer27
I have no idea why it happens.

Wait so you install visual v then install radiance v compatibility, do i then have to install the radiance v mod also or is radiance v compatibility the same thing? also is it need to install like the enb files and shaders and stuff or will visual v and radiance v compatibility be enough?

Also is there anyway to make the lights not glare so much at night? not a huge deal but i notice at night they are pretty bright which i love but there seems to be glare.

It's probably RadienceV thats causing that. I wouldn't recommend it. And no, you don't need to install the ENB. That's just an option.

I installed it in my game and it looks the same as vanilla version.

For some reason when I install visualv my game crashes. I have narrowed it down to this. I installed the mod via the OIV method

@RINGISKONG Make sure you installed it to mods folder.
