EUP Cuffs 1.2.0

WHAT IT DOES

EUP Cuffs chooses between Policing Redefined’s two cuff retrieval animations based on the officer’s EUP outfit.

- Cuffs in front: uses the front animation.

- Cuffs behind: uses the back animation.

- No visible cuffs detected: uses the back animation.

- Cuffs on both sides: randomly chooses between the two. The default chance is 50 percent and can be adjusted.

Supports the player and AI officers using male or female freemode models.

The plugin changes the animation choice. It does not modify Policing Redefined’s files or settings, or change the suspect’s final hand position.

When you go on duty, the plugin checks the installed EUP clothing in the background. Results are saved and checked again when EUP or the plugin changes.

TESTED SETUP

Tested on one PC with GTA V 1.0.3889.0, RAGE Plugin Hook 1.131, LSPD First Response 0.4.9, Policing Redefined 1.0.0.5, EUP 9.11.1 Patreon Beta, and Harmony 2.4.2.

Older EUP versions may require manual configuration.

INSTALLATION

Close GTA V. Copy 0Harmony.dll and the plugins folder from the ZIP into your GTA V folder.

The installed files should include:

0Harmony.dll

plugins\LSPDFR\EUPCuffs.dll

plugins\LSPDFR\EUPCuffs.ini

If you already have a newer version of Harmony, keep it.

Go on duty and check RagePluginHook.log for EUP Cuffs messages showing whether detection completed and the plugin activated.

FALLBACK BEHAVIOR

Stock officer models use Policing Redefined’s own animation setting.

That setting is also used while outfit detection is starting or unavailable. If the plugin cannot activate, the log explains why.

DETECTION LIMITS

Automatic detection has limitations with encrypted EUP packs, unfamiliar cuff case models, cases split into three or more pieces, and clothing outside the selected pack.

Manual outfit lists are available in EUPCuffs.ini. If the wrong EUP pack is selected, specify the correct folder using EupFolder.
