  1. Hm, that looks pretty cool I must say!
  2. Yeah, you can do that if you feel that is easier :)
  3. Hello, sorry, I was busy doing something else besides LCPDFR :) I need your full system specs, could I bother you to use Speccy instead? 1. Go to Piriform and download “Speccy”. http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download/standard 3. Go to File and select Save as Text File. 4. When posting the contents of the text file, make sure you put the text within spoiler tags.
  4. I would recommend you using OpenIV instead, since it's much better in my opinion. (http://openiv.com/WebIV/guest.php?get=1).
  5. Agreed, it was not critique against you man! Sorry if that come off as a little harsh/negative. Sorry :/
  6. Nice job :) But... was there something wrong with this one? ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>). It's easier to access, I'll admit that.
  7. You have to remove 0.95RC2, just like it says in the manual. Here's a guide (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19) :)
  8. Do you have these installed? (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35), (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653) and (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Linking just to be safe..)
  9. I see that CRAWFORDx96 already asked about your computer specs but you didn't answer. So.. what are your computer specs?
  10. I use some of them from here, it's all personal preference really ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>). I'll recommend a few: vdH TowingService 2.0.0: title="">http://www.lcpdfr.co...-towingservice/ vdH METT/Coroner Mod: title="">http://www.lcpdfr.co...ettcoroner-mod/ vdH PoliceHelper: title="">http://www.lcpdfr.co...h-policehelper/ ELS V7: title="">http://www.lcpdfr.co...ighting-system/ (if you are using ELS enabled cars). Indicator Mod: title="">http://www.lcpdfr.co...dicator-script/ ... and plenty more. Take that list a good look, there are awesome mods in there. Good luck. Keep in mind that adding scripts to GTA IV will make it unstable. Always add in mods one by one and test the game. Make backups.
  11. Could you post a screenshot of your GTA IV folder?
  12. Did you look through this thread? ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).
  13. You and me both!
  14. Yes, to the first one. If you feel that there is an improvement, replace and add in the second one.
  15. Hm alright. Could you try using this ScriptHook instead? (http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83).
  16. Thanks, let me know how it goes! Good luck! :)
  17. Could you try using the manual installation package instead? Guide here ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).
  18. Ah, let's see. These two are working against eachother: -memrestrict 681574400 -memrestrict 629145600 You are telling the game to first use 681574400 b of vram, but then use 629145600 b of vram instead which doesn't make any sense. The above in turn, work against this one: -availablevidmem 2 Because here you are telling the game to use 2gb of vram, overwriting the above settings once more. The rest is fine, but please replace everything with the ones I gave you.
  19. I see. I do apologize for the late answer. I think your computer is running out of memory when playing the game after a while, hence causing the models not to load. Fortunately, there may be a fix. To circumvent a less powerful computer, and maybe get the game up and running, create a txt file called “commandline.txt” (without quotes) in your main GTA IV installation directory and insert the following lines: -renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict Now, this will make the game look pretty bad. If you feel an improvement with this commandline, consider switching out all the contents to this instead: -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict
  20. Hey, welcome to the fora. I hope I can help you. First off, it's important that you read this: ?do=embed#entry204057'' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and this '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and answer the following questions: Running the game as administrator? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19). Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
  21. You can use the manual installation package instead. Guide here ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).
  22. I need some more information from you. Which version of LCPDFR are you using? If you are using 1.0, did you use 0.95 before that? Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19). Also, please install these http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 (If you haven’t updated GFWL, use this). Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
  23. I think I know why, your game is out of memory. Is it in all slots, or just one slot this happen?
  24. You can download the 32 bit version instead (It's called Visual C ++ 2010 Redsitributable x86). You will need to use the manual installation for LCPDFR to install properly on such systems.
