  1. It's probably because you are downloading a save-file that doesn't belong to your game (not saying it's the wrong game version). It could potentially be some different settings, different cars loaded into the memory etc.
  2. Could we see a screenshot of your GTA IV folder?
  3. I'm going to assume that you have read this ?do=embed#entry204057'' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and this '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> It would help immensly if you could answer these questions. Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19). Also, please install these http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 (If you haven’t updated GFWL, use this). Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
  4. Are you sure? You may have file extensions turned off. (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-sg/windows/show-hide-file-name-extensions#show-hide-file-name-extensions=windows-7).
  5. Legal copy of the game? Is your game up to date? Running it as administrator?
  6. You will have to provide more details than this :) Pictures would be nice.
  7. Not meaning to be a dick, but there's a manual for all this + Sam wrote a extra tutorial for the manual installation in the knowledge base, here (http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum/67-knowledge-base/). :)
  8. + there's no collision in most places. Never know though...
  9. ^Thanks. Didn't have LCPDFR available atm.
  10. Alright glad to hear that you solved it! :)
  11. If you look closely you can see the name you are supposed to type in above the text box! :)
  12. Just for future reference, all extra spawns that seem out of place is most likely a corrupt save.
  13. You can arrest any suspect for yourself as well, even if the AI has "taken care of business".
  14. Or apply the backups you made previous to installing the mod :)
  15. ineseri commented on Shekure's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  16. I'd say your disc is bad. Can you try to copy the contents of the disc and use those files instead?
  17. I'd suggest you buying a PC Desktop instead.
  18. Ah I see. Well glad I could be of some assistance!
  19. Could you post the LCPDFR and ScriptHook logs here, instructions are at the top of every page.
  20. Can I see a screenshot of your GTA IV folder? Also, what's up with the formatting? :p
  21. Indeed, that is the thing to do. With OpenIV, you do not need to rebuild the archive, or even save either.
  22. Glad I could help! I'll add that file name to my list of good things to know, thanks!
  23. Haha yeah, it takes some tampering until you find the perfect value. Different for everyone I'm afraid.
  24. Sorry, forgot to attach the guide :) '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> It's also written out in the manual if I remember correctly.
  25. Yeah, definitely reduce the settings just a small notch down. IMO it doesn't look that bad.
