GTA 5 Dead :(
i am not sure what izhevsk is on about. I run out of a mods folder so I dont have to reinstall everything, I generally have to put the new update.rpf in my mods folder and re-add a few things like 'better stun gun' and "no cross hairs" but all my car and audio mods still remain intact.

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
its not just your model nicks, its any bike in GTAV. if you do a 'quick exit' in any capacity the bike will fall over since it bypasses the kickstand animation.

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
yah your going to have to replace the stock PoliceB if you want it to randomly show up patrolling for the highway patrol. however if you use the backup.xml for 0.3 and set up your custom bike it will respond when you call in for backup. you can also use the law enforcement jurisdiction script to have custom cars patrolling. ;)

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
yah that seems to be an issue with any bike if you have "keep engine on" enabled or MoreControlV's GTAIV exit style turned on, not sure the game's code can really comprehend you getting off of a still running bike, when the payer turns the engine off and gets off he uses the kickstand but when its still running he sorta just hops off and the bike falls over. Also if you get off your bike and immediately aim your weapon it will generally fall over also (much like how if you do this in a car the drivers door will remain open - if your on a bike he will ignore the kickstand animation and go rite into the aiming one)

YOU DECIDE! Secondary Callouts
knowing the location of the caller is generally not an issue, its when the caller tells you that person who violated the order drove off in "that direction" or "hangs out around clucking bell" that things get interesting. sometimes the caller will know exactly where the suspect is and often times they will really have no clue. Since the caller is reporting a violation of a restraining order getting in touch with them really would not be an issue since their address/phone number, ect would all be on file because of the court order. it would just be a matter of tracking down the suspect, you would however know exactly who you were looking for and their last known address, drivers license details and all that jazz. Now if they are actually at home when you come knocking that's a different story. :P there is really never unknown suspects in a order violation because all of that stuff is on record with the courts and since you know exactly who you are looking for its just a matter of tracking them down. Edit: I am on medication for a wicked bronchial infection atm so I am sorry if i was rambling haha

YOU DECIDE! Secondary Callouts
I am so glad you ran with my restraining order idea :D i love that callout the voiceover was a nice touch. a mix of sometimes knowing exactly where to find the person and sometimes having to search would be a great middle ground and would probably be the most realistic way of doing it. often times officers get called to a residence/workplace so they dont really need to do much searching other times they just get a general last known location. In the real world a lot of these calls end with the officer unable to locate the person, and handing it off to a detective. however i know that in a game that might not be the most enjoyable thing to do. for example in many pursuits in my area if the suspect is driving recklessly the pursuit will be called off - in terms of gameplay that would probably not be the most fun - even though it would be realistic. (of the 10+ lspdfr youtubers i subscribe too I dont think I have ever seen an player decide to call off a pursuit for safety concerns)

Has scripthookV been updated for the newest patch?
most recent version works with 0.3 and rph .34

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
I used mpchristmas2, its probably not required to use that dlc pack for addons its just the one that I have always used for additional vehicles because I know where to find the carvariations.meta and vehicle.meta. I use a file i got over on gtavmods.com called "more-police-cars-to-add-v1-2" it comes with a premade carvariation file and vehicle meta with room for 30 additional cars and all you have to do is change the names within the files.

A question for all of you texture makers...
those are rather basic geometric shapes. would be very easy to re-create in photoshop with the pen, anchor and convert point tools. here is a youtube tutorial on making geometric shapes in ps,

Safer Chases (Smarter Driving for Cops)
Was holding off until the RPH version was released for my review. And surprise surprise here it is! This mod is quickly becoming a 'must have' for me since it fixes what I considered to almost be a game breaking element of lspdfr. Long gone are the days of AI police rear ending me at 150mph or shunting me into street signs as they aggressively rubber-band past me. For the first time I feel like I am part of the chase instead of being a third party for the AI to take its anger out on. I look forward to future updates! Great work Eddlm (and everyone else who contributed)

What trainer are you using?
Simple Native Trainer is the way to go. It still works with RPH 0.34 and 0.3. you might have to update your scripthook and scripthook.net for the newest version of it.

Putting a model in a different slot
I use mpchristmas2 for all my added police cars, just make sure that everything you add has a carvariation and vehicle.meta that reflects the custom name of the file. for example hwaycar or potaxi

Policeb Siren Settings?
its 1 for both, you just have to have the <audioNameHash>POLICEB</audioNameHash>

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
here is the carvariation and vehicle.meta components i used (make sure the parent is also used at the bottom of the vehicle.meta). I used mpchristmas2 for the addon.

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
hmm any idea where i might find the carvariations for the policeb? Doesnt seem to be any in patchday1 update: got the lights working by moving my policeb2 file over to mpchristmas2 and using the carvariations file there. however still no siren or engine sounds perhaps I need to change <sirenSettings value="1" />. going to fiddle around more with the carvariations file, will report back. update2: Got it working as a addon. had to set the audiohash to POLICEB. Everything is working and all is good in the world! it seems like the sirensettingvalue has no impact on which sounds the siren itself makes and that its tied into the vehicles audiohash, which makes me wonder why there is even a sirenSetting at all, unless it has to do with light patterns.

HAKUCHOU Police Motorcycle Model
Hey I made this into a addon in my game by renaming it to policeb2 and also changing the relevant things in the vehicle.meta and I am able to load it into game just fine however the siren/lights dont work nor do I get any engine sounds from it. Do i need to change the <audioNameHash /> for it to have any sounds? I have seen people saying it has the incorrect bike sound but for me it has zero sounds.

Cannot Change Liveries
they are there ingame. easiest way to get to them is from simple native trainer in the vehicle options there is a tab called 'liveries' or something along the sorts. another way is when picking the car in the lspdfr police station garage hit enter when you have that police car selected which will cycle through paint jobs, instead of hitting left or right to select new cars. its also possible that your carvariations.meta has a limited number of liveries set to that vehicle. there should be a bunch of lines of code along the lines of this, one 'true' for each livery available. <colors>
<indices content="char_array"> 134 134 156 156 </indices> <liveries>

</liveries>

<indices content="char_array"> 134 134 156 156 </indices> <liveries>

</liveries>

How can I make siren rotating in added car?
not sure I understand you want to replace the stock unmarked patrol car? I believe that is police4 in GTAV/Mods/X64e/Levels/GTA5/Vehicles.rpf an easier way to get that car working though is with the new backup.xml in 0.3 and just set that liveries as one of the liveries for the standard 'POLICE' vehicle and have it set only to be used by highway units. I found when setting a liveried police car to police4 you can have some inconsistencies since the base paint often rotates between silver/black and blue.

Realistic ALPR/ANPR System
ah gotcha, that's probably the easiest way to code it. I just figured from the screenshots that they were offset to the rear of the vehicle. if there was a way in the game to open a UI to change the fov/range settings that would be amazing. often times i find myself staked out in the middle partition of a highway and I only really want one camera activated, during a roaming patrol however having all four active is nice so being able to change that on the fly ingame without having to back out to edit an ini would be a very nice touch. maybe that's a 0.9 feature though ;P

Auto Pursuit Backup Disabler
Yep same here, no crashes though they just sit in the road with their lights off. code 2/3 works fine but persuit is bugged. heres the log though incase it helps perhaps its because I have custom cars in my backup.xml?

Realistic ALPR/ANPR System
any chance in the future that we will be able to set individual camera distances in the .ini? I changed mine up a bit to have two side cameras, a rear and a forward facing but the issue i am running into is since the pivot point is near the rear of the vehicle the camera pointing directly forwards range is not far enough so I have to almost rear end the car in front to get a reading and the one pointing backwards is looking too far back, it reads plates on cars 3-4 car lengths behind me.
