Game most likely crashed because your landlord suspected you were sub letting and used the Liberty city fire regulations on numbers of tenants in a certain space to throw you out. Also no pets or flushing firearms down the toilet. Seriously though as pointed out you just gave your PC and the game engine too much to do in a confined space. The game would prob' struggle with 100 combat peds in an open space as well.

Sure feel free to add it if you want. But most people wont get that it was made as a different drive style. I will make another modified version that people will prob' like more and be the sort of thing they expect from a handling line. At the moment most people brake by holding down the brake keys and the car comes to a nice stop. I made that version so the brakes lock up if you slam on the brakes :) As said I will make a more general version if you want to add it to pack. Might not get around to it till tomoz though as bit busy today. Future projects ? can't think of anything of top of my head at the moment.

Thx glad it works. It's a very different driving style. But it's a long wheelbase viehicle not really built for high speed pursuits. I figured we have other cars for that. But it is just a first effort and prob needs tweaking. A bit more turning radius and better traction maybe. Anyhow I feel bad cause I kinda hilacked the thread. I had to remove it for a while when i found an issue. Hopefully that is fixed now. Please let me know if it works on your system. Please make a backup first as it's not tested properly.

Notice: Should be working ok now. Thanks for these. Only tried a few so far. But like aparna I really like the police stockade. However It still behaves and drives like a heavy truck, and the handling just didn't fit in with new apperance. So I made a few adjustments to the handling line. May not be to everyones tastes but I will put it out here in case anyone wants to use it. *Please note though this is just a change I made for my gameplay and is no way endorced or approved by Redbull Kid who made this fine pack.* Changes I made to handling: Increase in acceleration and top speed to suit the new model, but not stupidly so. Made brakes more aggressive to counter the new speed. Very slight increase of steering lock. A small firming up of the suspension. I also made it a 4 wheel drive to suit model, but only put 25% of the power to the front wheels. Made a change to center of gravity for people who want to drive normally around corners without it flipping over (will still need to reduce speed) In short I didn't want to handle like a police patriot. We allready have one of those. So I made it harder to drive. You will have to slow down on corners, or if you want you can powerslide around them. (turn in early with a slight tap of handbrake) I left the traction at a level where this is possible, and the 25% power to front wheels makes it easier to recover from a power slide. The way of driving is it can power around very well using the right technique, but make an error and it's very unforgiving :) Want something easy then drive the police patriot or leave the handling line as is, which is basically a slow lorry :) One last thing, the police stockade seems to share a handling line with the normal stockade, The group 6 security van. Both have bullet proof windscreens etc. So this will affect that model too. But how often do you drive the group 6 van :p As said might not be to everyones taste but I found it annoying that such a nice new model was accelerating like a lorry. If you do try the handling line make a back up first. Not had time to test it much yet so may need a few tweaks here and there. Traction may need increasing. WARNING ! This has not been tested outside of my PC yet so make a backup of your handling file just in case ! I have a motorcycle patrol vid on youtube. It's in media section. Nothing special. But in it is a pursuit where the driver of a taxi opens fire on me with an uzi. He fires out of his window at me while I chase him. My officer even says something I have never heard before about being hit in the leg. Reason I remember it was a taxi is it was filmed before I found a fix for the taxi bug :p Also I can't recal but I don't think it was a result of a callout. You using enb with so called AA, resizeing your image from a higher resolution ?

Yep, I have gone through just about every enb , ice . stunning graphics , Reality IV , GTA Extreme and a bunch of others. I gave up on them all in the end. Some of those graphics mods I achieved amazing jaw dropping results but in the end prefered a smoother game play. Now the only thing I do use Is an added texture mod bud that impacts very little on performance. Also I just found that allthough things looked solid and light reacted well of some things like cars there were too many areas of over brightness on some textures. Street lights could be a nightmare etc. All personal preference in the end but I think you loose as much as you gain. Colours are never right and as said the lighting allthough great in some areas is total crap in others. Still, i do like to see what people do with their graphics. I'm just unable to play that way as I find it too annoying. :) Just using the DLL file from enb on it's own can achieve good reflections sometimes without all the other effects. Oh, forgot to say. GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: False I'm not sure what that's all about. Maybe someone else will know. On my report it reads true.

OK that could be cause the Mod hasn't run yet I guess. I edited my post above to cover what Sam said.

It's in your main GTA folder as well as an LCPDFR error log. But tbh I am, as always just trying. Sam on the other hand is the Project manager and as a result unlike me does know what he is on about :P So I suggest as he says you reinstal the LCPDFR MOD. And then run a NEW Diagnostic and post result. Also worth mentioning, Run game and Diagnostic as administrator. Right click / run as admin.

I'm not sure if it effects starting LCPDFR but I have read in the past you need to at least complete the first mission after Niko gets of the boat. ie: drive Roman to the safehouse. Then save game. If you haven't done that give it a try. If still no joy try posting your LCPDFR log. tbh I am no expert at reading logs but others may pick up on something. Edit: beaten to it :)

There is nothing wrong with the ini. However if your not used to LCPDFR you might want to change Hardcore = True, to Hardcore = False Should have been at false by default. Back to your problem, are you using Left Alt+p as right Alt does not work. When working you get a message saying welcome to LCPDFR or something like that in upper left corner. Stars representing police stations also appear on your main and mini map so you can get to a police station to go on duty. If left alt is not working check your scripts folder, found inside your main GTA folder. In there make sure there are LCPDFR files.

If using windows 7 Press windows start at bottom left of screen, then use the "search" Type in Rockstar or grand theft auto or whatever. Also, not sure if this will apply to a game folder but you never know. Go to control panel and open "apperaance and personalisation", then "show hidden folders" then make sure show hidden folders is checked and hit apply.

What happens when you have light and or sirens going when on way to a call or in a pursuit. Is everyone gonna be pulling over for a traffic stop, and then the game initiating the "park behind the vehicle" etc. Just interseted how the AI will tell the difference between using lights to do a traffic stop and lights for just "get out the way I am on a code 3". I am guessing you will still need to use the shift as well. Just interested :) no idea how the existing system works let alone how to design and code a new one.

Maybe "stand down" could get lost in translation. I'm wondering if he's trying to get it to assist, other than just hover and spotlight. He mentions about being unable to get it near to the ground. Anyway what Break said, Type it in German he can translate :) Stand down = Go Away / leave.

Yep that's why I left it an open question Iv'e never had anything like that happen before and wasn't even sure if it was possible. Tomoz when I have more time I will redownload that driver again and try to install and see if same crashes start happening again.
