Make sure you press enter after pasting the new handling line. Sometimes it pastes and moves the next handling line up, so you have to press enter to move it back down.

It just went into open beta on the 1st, I believe. Before that, I think you had to donate to join. A lot of places give you benefits if you donate...there's nothing strange about that at all. Right now the only thing they say you get for donating (over $30) is a forum badge and your application to join will be looked at sooner. They say they will add in-game benefits in the future, however. I can't speak on models being stolen...but will, once again, say refer to my signature.

Plus vsync, view distance, render quality, detail quality, and texture quality are all options you can set to your liking in-game, so there is no point to preset them to the lowest before even starting.

Use SparkIV and make sure you are importing HORNS.ivaud. I'm not sure how OpenIV handles audio mods.

If the file you downloaded is in a .rar, then you need to extract it with WinRar or something similar. If it is in a .zip, then you can extract it with Windows. Then you open SparkIV and find /pc/audio/sfx/ and open resident.rpf. Click on RESIDENT on the left, and import the HORNS.ivaud that should have been included in the download, and save.

But you should be able to click "mark solved" next to the post that solved your problem. You seem to be having a lot of problems with your car models....Maybe you should reinstall the game and start from scratch.

I don't know what the issue is if it happens across multiple models. That would normally be a problem with the model itself.

The easiest way would be to open the notepad that comes with Windows, then type -norestrictions and save it to your desktop as commandline.txt Then move it from your desktop to the main GTA IV folder (where GTAIV.exe is). [You could also just save it to this location, but sometimes Windows doesn't like saving files to anything located in Program Files.]

Obviously you have no clue how game development works. It isn't just typing in /creategame and then releasing it. They couldn't release the XboxOne and PS4 version when they came out because the game wasn't yet developed for those consoles. GTA V had been in development since the release of GTA IV, they weren't even thinking of next gen when they started. They were focused on finishing the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions before they moved on to the next gen. If they had released it on all consoles at the same time, there would have been what is called "console parity" meaning the game looks the same on every console. They did it this way so that they can make improved versions of the game for the more powerful systems. I actually applaud Rockstar for doing it like this. They took the extra time to learn how much the new systems can handle, and are making the game look as best as possible. I'm fine with the PC version being released later because it will also have the improved graphics and gameplay. Hopefully the PC version being delayed to January means it will actually be a decent port.

You have corona takedowns set in the vehicle configuration file, but that vehicle doesn't appear to support corona takedowns. You have to change UseCoronaTakedowns = on to off in the .ini file for that vehicle.

That was your choice. You didn't have to buy it twice. If you only wanted the PC version, then you could have waited for that. Instead you decided to buy it. Rockstar isn't forcing you to purchase it multiple times, and it's not like they are going to make it free on PC.

Have only the extras you want to attach checked, then, using the attach tool, point and click to attach the same extras (extra_1_L0 -> extra_1_L0, extra_2_L0 -> extra_2_L0, etc). This will make it so there is only one extra_#_L0.
