Reinstall LCPDFR using the manual installation - just copy all of the files/folders to your main GTA IV directory (where GTAIV.exe is), copy and replace if asked.

Please run the diagnostic tool and post the log it creates.

I think it's something with GTA IV. If the officer making the arrest doesn't "own" a car, he will find the closest police vehicle and use that.

If a mod comes with it's own version of ScriptHook, dsound, AdvancedHook, etc. this is the general rule: On the "There is already a file with the same name in this location" screen, if it says "newer" next to "Date modified" under "Copy and Replace," then choose that option. If not, don't copy.

Reinstall using the manual installation. Replace all of the current files. After LCPDFR is installed, never EVER replace AdvancedHook.dll again, unless you are installing LCPDFR again.

Oh god, a topic about racing...hopefully NicolaiB doesn't see it! I've never really enjoyed watching races. It just seems so boring to watch a bunch of cars go around in an oval, with the occasional overtake and rare crash. Maybe if I had a reason to root for someone it would be better.

Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
