  1. The noose cars had what looked like LEDs, but they still flash like halogens.
  2. This is the full configuration. However, I actually got a free upgrade to the Cooler Master HAF912 case because the original case I had was back ordered. There were some extra things in there, like the engraving, that you don't need. I also added some other things like the anti-vibration mounts for the fans just so I could get it up to $999 before shipping for a 5% discount that they had at the time. Here's a screenshot of my auto-configured (except for "Night Shadows" which were originally off) GTA IV: EFLC settings; the game runs at about 30 FPS with ELS cars. May not be the best, but hey, it's GTA. Nice thing about it is that the motherboard can handle up to 32 GB of RAM and there's definitely room to upgrade the video card. In action:
  3. Yeah, they put it together. I'll post the full config later when I can get on my pc
  4. I love what you did with the radio
  5. Modded Forklift: http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=529 Tractors: http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=427 Military (not really construction, but still heavy equipment): http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=535 Some trucks (8 pages, a few dumptrucks and a cement mixer): http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=373&start=0&orderBy= Sorry, best I could find.
  6. That PC is definitely good enough. If you want to lower the price some, then you can switch the video card to something lower, but I wouldn't go less than the GTX 650 (since that's what I have and I'm not sure how good the lower cards would be). I'd also like to point out that no monitor is chosen, so if you don't already have one then there's some more to add on, price depending on what you choose. In the Operating System, I would switch to Windows 7 Home Premium for better compatibility with games (and I don't like Windows 8). Also make sure you go for any freebies you can get, free stuff is always nice. I ordered my PC from that site and definitely recommend it. This is what I have:
  7. I have a GTX 650 with 2GB and it works great, the "Ti" version is even better from my understanding. GTA IV auto-configures a medium-high setting, and Skyrim runs on ultra with graphics enhancing mods perfectly fine. Just make sure your PC has all the requirements for it, especially the power supply (which should at least be 400 Watts according to that site, with a 6-pin power connector).
  8. The cars are optimized for any of those models, meaning you can use any of these cars to replace any of those models. There are only 3 cars in the pack.
  9. It's 18 Wheel's of Steel / American Long Haul radio stuff
  10. A siren mod I'll actually use! I like the horn change.
  11. I found that before too...However, there's a file that shows all of the things that those boards show and nothing in them is altered to say that. It's in /common/data/scrollbars.dat. I don't know if altering that file actually makes them say what you changed or not though.
  12. I'm assuming you checked all of the things here? http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/
  13. 1) Back up what? I never saw the files before in my life. 2) Not the whole archive, just the two files I deleted. 3) I bought the game and have the disk, just not with me. I use the crack so I don't need the disk, and the mod does work with this one. AND I know they don't support cracked games, I've been around for a while, just not active on these forums. 4) I switch between OpenIV and SparkIV. Depends on what mood I'm in. Edit: Figured it out finally :) It was playerped.rpf that I deleted so I fixed it.
  14. While I was trying to install a mod for a ped's props (the hat), SparkIV said that it can't rebuild .rpf files when I tried to rebuild and save the pedprops.img file. So I looked in the directory without closing SparkIV and noticed two new files that I never saw before called "pedprops.rpf" and "pedprops.temp." I figured that SparkIV was opening the wrong file, so I deleted these two new files, assuming they were copied from someplace else to the folder temporarily, then I emptied my Recycle Bin. After I did that, I was able to install the mod, however it apparently made the game crash. After the loading screens, the game crashed to desktop. I know it isn't the mod causing it because I replaced all of the mods I installed since I last played with the files I had before. After attempting to get the game to work multiple times, I came to the conclusion that these files are the problem. Does anyone know of a fix without installing GTA IV again? I am unable to re-install it because I do not have the disk with me and I use a cracked .exe (bad, I know, but I didn't want to have to bring the disk with me when going from my mom's house to my dad's house and vice versa, and now I'm in college and didn't bring the disk because my brother plays it on my other computer.) It would be perfect if someone could find these two files and upload them or something, then maybe I can figure something out from there.
  15. Or we could get back on topic. It will be released, hopefully based on other posts, by the end of the week regardless of bugs. If not, so be it. When it's ready, it's ready.
  16. You realize a lot of game developers "overshoot" their release date by a lot of time, usually months, sometimes years. GTA IV was pushed back a couple times when it was first released. The problem, if you had read the past few posts, is that some unexpected bugs have been popping up.
  17. The indicator script includes a control for the headlights, HOWEVER you can only switch the lights on or off at night time (when they would automatically be on). It's something with the game that you can't turn on the headlights during the day, because even using the trainer to do it doesn't work. Pressing H toggles the high beams only.
  18. If your game actually freezes, then I can't be of assistance, but if the script just crashes and the game is playable, press `/~ (Key left of 1) and type reloadscripts If you don't like their reactions, change the resist option to "false" in the .ini. Pressing Alt+del doesn't activate the script, it tells the script that you're ready to receive call outs. The script is activated automatically when you start GTA IV.
  19. It would be awesome if this was actually implemented in with LCPDFR, with some adjustments to make it fully compatible; including the arresting sequence and calling for backup.
  20. Oh, and about your skin. I, too, am an amateur at skinning, and I also made an NCIS skin for an ambulance. I think yours is better though. The only major difference is I made it say "Liberty City Field Office." Nice job.
  21. There is an NCIS jacket and also a model with a bullet proof vest: You can just download a civilian charger and make it black in game.
  22. For some reason, this never worked for me in LCPDFR. If I aim and press E without a gun out, nothing ever happens.
  23. I also am seeing a problem with calling for transport. They either will never come, or they will start coming and the suspect just disappears. It also seems that the Paramedics are "unavailable" more often after installing this. Then when it finally says they are coming, they never show up or they fly right by me. Anther thing is that my model's voice is constantly changing. If I start with a Strooper voice, at some point it randomly changes to either Cop_Black_02 or Cop_White_01 (I think those are the names) and never goes back. And that happens even if I don't try to control traffic. Another thing is that my taser stopped working after I installed this script, however that is most likely unrelated. I reinstalled LCPDFR and will see what happens the next time I play it. The problem is that when I press Alt T, the taser shows up on the model. Then I press Alt T again and he does the animation, but doesn't take it out. He stays with the "fist" weapon. Then if I try to scroll to the "fist," it's not there. It goes Pistol, Melee, Melee, M4 (last gun for me). He puts the melee weapon away, but it still shows the picture of it on the top. And a quick question, after the scene is clear (as it seems, driving away from it makes everything disappear, since everything un-loads from the game, but also if all cars are towed and disappear and all suspects are arrested and disappear), do I have to press Alt Del again to say I'm available, or does the script eventually generate a new call?
