Thanks, I have EVGA for my current GeForce GTX 650, and just bought an ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti, and the ASUS was actually a lot cheaper than I normally see for the 660 Ti.

Well you could actually try it on that laptop - I know it would suck if you buy windows and the game for it then it doesn't work, but it may be possible. My old computer has an Intel Pentium processor, 4 GB ram, and Intel HD Graphics like 1000 (with 56 MB dedicated memory). It ran GTA IV on the lowest settings with a command line.

I don't know if I'll get an answer here, but can anyone tell me what a good brand of nvidia GPU is? Like EVGA, Asus, MSI, etc?

You need AdvancedHook.dll for the indicator script too, without it the script just crashes when you try to use it. You also still need ScriptHookDotNet for it.

AdvancedHook.dll (for some scripts, not sure what it's really for) and ScriptHookDotNet.asi are required to run any script mod in the "Scripts" folder. ScriptHook.dll and Dsound.dll (or xlive.dll) are needed to run .asi scripts in the GTA IV directory. I think at least. You should pretty much keep anything that installs with LCPDFR.

Open ELS.ini with notepad or something similar, change "ToggleExpressMode" to the corresponding number of the key you want use. Here's the numbers (found in the manual included with ELS)

You also have to use the combo key, which is CTRL by default. It may not work with backspace if you have a Trainer, since backspace usually closes the trainer by default, so if it doesn't work try changing the key.

Notepad++, Gimp2, Audacity, IVNeedle, X GXT Editor. Probably won't use all of them anytime soon, but are nice to have!

You can use the normal gta siren, you have to put it in express mode. When you activate the siren the lights will come on too.

Delete asilog.txt in your directory. It will make a new one the next time you start the game.

Touchmaster Delta installation file: "Do NOT redistribute without my permission." (assuming I have the same file) I don't see anything for the Omega one.

Did you install the taser during setup? If so, try going to the scripts folder and opening FirstResponse.ini. Then change "ShowHolsteredTaserOnPlayer = False" to "ShowHolsteredTaserOnPlayer = True"

Are you using .95? If so, are you pressing Alt-P or Ctrl-P or both?

All he knows is that it's a Federal Signal. He doesn't even know where he found it. However with the wonderful Google, I manged to find it based on Matosh's suggestions. It is in fact the FS Unitrol Omega 90 K, made by Lt. Caine. He does also use the Touchmaster Delta's "scan" tone, which isn't included in the Omega siren thing.

"I can't use the siren whenever I want to" -Manual siren can be used whenever. Default key should be T. "Changing to a different siren tone doesn't change the lighting pattern" -You have to set that up in the car file in the ELS folder.

Read and follow the instructions

You shouldn't post the same thing in multiple topics. Everything here is explained in the manual included. If you have to hold down a key for it to work or the key simply doesn't work in ELS 7: Check every .asi mod you have. If any key interferes with ELS you have to change it in one of the scripts' configuration files. I found this out because I had to hold down the key for takedowns and cruise lights since I also had the keys to change radio stations on my mobile radio mod set to those. Changing the keys in the radio mod fixed this problem. Note: this suggestion isn't directed towards the quoted post - you have to hold down T because that's the manual siren button (also changes the siren when it is activated)

Firstly, this has already been made multiple times. Secondly, all of the vehicles are on by default in the the newest release (this and a key guide are the only updates) Thirdly, Alt-M shouldn't work for the panel and it's really weird if it does.
