  2. Export the .WAV from the included IVAUD, change file names, then import to V_STYLE_3. Some sound IVAUDs are not compatible with others, so make sure you rename them to the ones in the IVAUD you want to import them to.
  3. Ford CVPI NYPD HWP with risers. Don't think it is easy to obtain - the original author withheld the link some time after it was released, from what I heard. I think there is one on gta4-mods.com, however it is not based on the most recent NYPD setup.
  4. In some areas of the UK, police are allowed to stop and search people if they fit the description of stereotypes known to commit crime, can be Asians, some blacks, Working Class youth, or a person in one of those descriptions doing something out of the ordinary (driving a posh car in a rough area because they could have stole it etc.) It is an apparent response to gang warfare and terrorism. Some people think it is a form of discrimination others think it is because those people are the most likely to commit the crimes. Do they have this in America?

  7. I am afraid your act, though with good intent, could prove futile. Rockstar Games AFAIK is a profit driven organization, not a community one. They will not care about adding or optimizing features for their games unless it appeals to their largest and most profitable audience - the average, console gamer. I don't think they could care less about LCPDFR, sadly, because the interest base is too small compared to their main consumer target (not everyone likes police or playing as them, where as alot more people like storylines and blowing things up mindlessly, for instance), although there are many players who do, and it has been proven that GTA has a replay value long after its original release due to modding. Most of GTA IV's modding tools were based on hooks into the game engine. There was no original SDK provided, GTA isn't that type of game. Although I hope that what you want to do will at least have some positive effect. We could all benefit from that.
  8. I wish I had a moment like that... there's police chases just like that over here but unlike the US the news never bothers to cover them...
  9. *Update* Stirling (ARV) sirens RELEASED! Click to download. New video uploaded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8ZVi3q9BEE
  10. Back seats work with Ford Transit, but the Vivaro can only seat two, which is a shame.
  11. TBH it depends on what ENB you use. The modder who created the models used his own personal ENB and optimized it for that, although you can really make them shine wonderfully if you use your own custom ENB - especially the vehicles with rotating lightbars for instance. Just check this video to see how great they can look when you get an ENB rigged up to support them.
  12. If you are interested in a change you could try always British Policing, I have a It is a full set and comes with multiple car choices and good documentation so you won't be left in the dark.

Suggestions? Forum topic: Classic Met siren fitted to many ARVs, Traffic Cars, Transit and Torneo vans, Area Cars and used frequently by Robbery Squad on their unmarked Mondeos. Most popular and original Met siren ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxO-71ENSsM
  13. *UPDATE* Version 2.6 is out. Many bug fixes and addition of cars missed out in v2.5 - if there are still any bugs please report them here. (Please make sure you have read and followed the installation instructions first before reporting bugs.) Seperated Extra Vehicles installation from regular, to give users a choice whether to install it or not. Added instructions for installing the Extra Vehicles for EFLC users. IMPROVED Handling. Information for the handling lines and dash cams now found inside the "Config Lines" file. All you have to do is open it up and follow the instructions for installing it provided in the readme. Each vehicle has its own personal handling line now, so no more sharing with other vehicles. IMPROVED installation method. Should be much easier to install now, no need to pass through long-named folders, just get straight to the slot you want to replace. If you need any extra information about the vehicle slots see the "LAYOUT" file. FIXED the corrupt extra vehicles archive. All extra vehicles already added to it now, you no longer have to import the extra vehicles yourself unless you want a different vehicle in that slot. REMOVED extra slot "paramedic" and merged the role with "pstockade" - choose from Traffic OCU Volvo V70 or LAS RRV Volvo V70 now - depends on what your interests are. ADDED THE FOLLOWING VEHICLES THAT WERE MISSED OUT IN V2.5: Updated BMW 3 Saloon. (BPM's reworked version.) Updated BMW 3 Touring. (BPM's reworked version with ANPR.) Updated Ford Focus Hatchback (BPM's reworked version without ANPR.) UPDATES TO THE FOLLOWING VEHICLES: Ford Mondeo Estate IRV Dogs. (Fixed the roof codes - changed from circle to the correct DSU triangle sticker.)
  14. That is some amazing looking daytime ENB you have there. Does it look good at night also?
  15. *IMPORTANT NOTICE* ALL users who installed v2.5 please be advised it is BUGGED. The paths for the extra archive "newveh.img" were wrong - you were moving them into "pcnewveh.img" when it should be "pcmodelscdimagesnewveh.img". This is no fault on your behalf, but a simple misdemeanor For all users currently experiencing problems, please copy the archive "newveh.img" over to the same folder where your standard "vehicles.img" is. Then repeat the import process if you haven't already imported the extra vehicles to the new archive. A fix is being worked on as well as the inclusion of the updated "Ford Focus IRV" and BMW 3 variants, which were apparently distributed with the old lightbars and bugs. A new fix will feature the extra archive bug solved, and the missed out vehicles included in it again. It will also feature the correct role ID for the Ford Mondeo DSU, a triangle on the roof instead of a circle, which was apparently missed out in 2.5. For users who get a CTD for "Invalid Rescourse detected" when spawning the extra vehicles - I am aware of this problem it is to do with a corrupt extra archive that v2.5 was distributed with - A fixed and working archive will be added to v2.51 with the standard vehicles already installed, so you do not have to import them. Please await the release of version 2.51, which will be coming very soon.
