I like the Vancouver stockade. It's something that I don't think has been posted yet.

I drive a white 98 Ford Windstar. You don't really see them on the road anymore because they either broke or got turned in during cash for clunkers. I've been considering buying a CVPI, mainly because they are cheap and have that wonderful V8 engine. I'm not planning on becoming a police officer, and I don't want to buy it to look like one, it is simply a well-made american car :). I do know that most CVPI's get the crap beat out of them during its life as a police cruiser, but cab companies seem to love them for their durability. I figure as long as you thoroughly mechanically inspect it before buying, it could be a good car.

I believe that as soon as you go on duty it unlocks the whole map as well.

If you have it on steam, you can just repair the installation through the options in your steam library. It'll detect all the files that were modified and replace them with the originals, which takes much less time then downloading the whole game again (and it's legal :D). However, it doesn't touch any files that were not included with the original game installation (like scripts), so if you want a vanilla game, you have to remove any files you added.

How much vram do you need to run a high poly car pack?

If doing what compeast said didn't work, try moving the extras above the windows in the hierarchy.

I'm currently a solo pilot working towards my private, and I've found it to be one of the best simulators out there. Even though it was released a while ago, if you want to run it on the highest settings, you need a pretty good rig. Realism wise, it is pretty much spot on. I mainly download freeware (like from simviation), but I've bought a couple of packs from Abacus, and their models are pretty good. You can usually find some good planes and websites through a couple of google searches. :)

Close the els panel before you type in the names. I'm not sure about the problem with changing the key bindings, I would suggest reading the guide (pdf) that came with ELS v7.

You can also press spacebar to toggle between selected mode and single mode.

I just bought EFLC. I can't wait for it to download! :D

Unfortunately, running mods causes random crashes. To my knowledge, everyone running mods experiences this problem. Usually, you can decrease the amount of crashes by disabling some mods. You can usually notice a pattern as well of when the game crashes (ex: calling for noose backup, or having more than 10 cars running ELS lights). It is an annoying problem, but you will never be able to eliminate all the crashes.

Just to let you all know, GTA IV is currently selling for $4.99 on steam ($7.49 for GTA+EFLC). I know most of you already own it, but I figured I would post it anyway in case you had a friend that wanted it or something. EDIT: GTA IV is no longer 75% off, but if you missed the sale, it will still be 50% off until July 22nd.

Yeah, I think that was more wishful thinking on my part. :/ I already helped resolve some of the issues with his dll files and games for windows live, so I had hoped this issue could be fixed too. Is there some way to still be able to run it? I know the game may run badly, but, it's better than no game at all. (sorry for any typos, these iPhone keyboards are so small :P)

The Intel graphics chip is not very good, but it should be able to outperform the video card listed under the minimum system requirements. Run this '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and post the results, as there should be some way to resolve the error.

If the lightbar shows up in zmodeler but not in game, it could be that there is no proper material mapped to it, thus making it invisible in game.

Look in zmodeler and confirm the extras are set up correctly.
