If you are using ELS I believe you can shut off the AI sirens. If you are using vanilla then I am not sure there is a way.

I would pay for some of these features....in fact I would pay to have LCPDFR as an actual game...that way they could pay R* to modify it.

I like how you guys are making it a POINT to say you are not signing but "thanks for the offer".....that's kind of insulting in and of itself, I mean why not just see what it is and then move on (without a comment) if it's not something you wish to sign? Hmmm...I know, a hard challenge to take on.

You have great points. I think most people are ignorant/don't care that it is most likely one bad apple and not the whole department. What I will say against most LEA (law enforcement agencies) is that they still believe in and support "the thin blue line". I am 100% behind having to trust your fellow co-workers and partners, but that also means you have to trust them to follow the rules and be able to report and hold them accountable. Sadly though, it becomes a popularity thing, when the "cool cop" everyone likes is a dick or not doing the right things, people blow it off cuz the like the guy/gal and then get upset with and drive out the one who reported the wrong doing. All officers should support the ones doing the right things and force out the jerks who make the rest of the department look bad, it just makes their jobs harder which makes them more pissed off.

A "dell or Acer" really don't matter, its weather the specs (graphics card, memory, motherboard/processor, etc) meet the requirements to run the GTA IV game. If they can then you SHOULD (in theory) be able to run LCPDFR. As for helping you, message me in privet and I will see if I can help you get started.

Only because we let them. This is a prime example of we the people not allowing them to get away with it. Yes, they can handcuff you, that is typically detaining you be still does not give them the right to search you or your property. If they arrest you they can pat you down for weapons but if you say do not search me they also have to get a warrant to search your pockets (keep in mind anything you have that is "illegal" on your person upon entering the jail is an added charge) but yes we have these rights. I am not sure that many of the people on here actually understand how a warrant works....they normally do not get them in 10 mins or even an hour....they have to be drafted, supervisor signed off on them, then it goes to a judge when then decided is there actually is LEGAL probable cause to the search or seizure and then if granted they can then search. Now, most LEO's wont send off for a warrant unless they are damn sure it will produce something because it puts a lot of spot light on what you are doing and anything you find (or don't) is recorded under your case info, to many warrants that don't come up with anything can put you in hot water. The other for a warrant is for you to retain legal counsel (a lawyer) so IF they find something they can counsel you on your next steps. That also brings up another point, you wouldn't go to court without a lawyer (who is protecting your rights btw) if someone was suing you would you? You would want to be protected so someone cant falsely accuse you of something or take money from you, so why would you let someone TRY and find something against you. Most LEO's aren't going to search you or your cell phone unless they have a reason, but then again some LEO's will stop you because they are bored and are "fishing", again don't believe it is true ask a local LEO if he randomly runs plate checks for stolen cars or registered owners who have a warrant out....most who are honest say "yes I do that but it helps us catch people"....that is what they do. I am not here to make LEO's look bad but sadly all of our laws, rules, guidelines are there because a small number of people took advantage of others, LEO's are human like the rest of us and some are shady. First I'd like to add my 2 cents worth (well its not worth that much but still), I am glad that this also was passed. This law isn't in place for the "good" LEO's, it is in place because of the "bad" LEO's that didn't know where the lines of privacy were/are. They are in place to protect our US constitutional rights (one of which is to protect against unwarranted search and seizure). This goes deeper than "I have nothing to hide so what does it matter". Look at it this way, and I know it is easy to say "well but...", lets say on your phone you and your friends/family/dog/whoever are sending naked pictures/sexting/racist jokes/religious stuff back and forth, and the officer who looks through your phone is "offended" by what you have on there....now they can either ignore it and move on or MOST LIKLEY going to find a way to give you a ticket or "harass/stop/follow/badger" you every chance they get. Don't believe this happens, well then your lucky to live in an area where LEO's respect civil rights. I am not one to think "the man" is out to get me, however I think with how the world is today and how the mindset of folks in the US (which I live in btw) we are losing more and more of our freedom's of speech, privacy and general pursuit of happiness (sound familiar???) I will also say (and this isn't to bash anyone on these threads) that the younger folks on here tend to have that "I have nothing to hide" stance then the older folks (like me) who sadly have had to experience what it is like to be an upstanding citizen and had their rights violated (even simple ones). I think that there is always a balance to laws (and I love laws), they must protect the innocent and their rights while being able to punish those that violate the laws. We should never sacrifice our freedoms for this "illusion" of safety and security we have today. I read one comment on here that said something to the effect of "would you go up to a stranger on the train/bus and ask them to look through their cell phone and ask them for their ID or where they were going?" MOST people in ANY country would tell you to please leave them alone (some not as nice) so what is the difference with a LEO? The honest truth that we the people forget is that the gov't and LEO's are just like you and m. They just happen to get paid to enforce rules that we as a society have decided need to be in place to protect the greater good while still respecting that we live in a free country that provides us the privilege to speak our minds for and against people/things/opinions we like or dislike, allow us to live/eat/sleep/work in whatever job WE decide (granted you can get hired, not being told/forced to work in the mines for example), the freedoms to dress/love/worship whomever we want. We as a people in the US take advantage of these everyday and do nothing to protect our rights as they slowly get stripped away. One last example I would like to bring up before I end this and step down from my soap box.....why is it in the US that the law that used to protect our US flag is no longer in effect? Why is it not still illegal to not have the flag lit or replace it when it's torn/tattered? Why is it not a common disrespect anymore if the flag touches the ground? It is because we as a people have given up on our "allegiance" to our flag and our country. Why is it we spend more time and energy voting for who sings the best on tv then we do to elect the people who run (used loosely) our country and take these freedoms and respectful rules away? I just got the fx6300 and an asus m5a97 le r2.0. its not bad though I don't notice much "performance" difference from me intel 2 duo quad core q6600....im even running 10 gigs. Now I do get better FPS in GTA IV but on arma 3 different sources say an intel i7 is better. I am thinking of upgrading my video card again (the 3rd time is the charm) but I havnt found any info to say the 8600 is better than the 6300. so I would save the cash and either buy the 6300 or save up and get an i7.

Wow, you have some serious talent. I don't know what field you are in or plan to be in but keep this as evidence that you have talent and skill. I do have to ask, how did you make this vid, not like step by step but did you use mods, other players for some of the roles, animations, etc.?

I really didn't like the beta...granted I have liked many of the battlefield games since 2 (or was it 3 that introduced destructible worlds) came out. Oh well, as some others have said, its better to find out early and for free that it's not worth what they will sell it for. Make it a DLC for those who like this sort of gaming and charge way less.

I don't know if it is possible but maybe the report can include the location of the traffic stop. This way it can add an idea for clans to do "emphasis" patrols for areas that see more incidents or stops. Just like in real life :) sounds like a great tool, keep up the good work.

do have any specific cars u guys are using?

Forgive me if I am repeating something but I couldn't read through all pages lol, I would like to see some calls (or if possible a mode) that pertain to multiplayer seeing how many clans actually use this, it would be nice to actually have something just for that. I get that MP is slightly more unstable but it gets old running the same calls in the same places, esp if 5 officers get the same call one after the other lol. as for calls, maybe add a barricaded suspect, maybe a stalker/susp person, maybe (again if possible) a domestic where you have to meet with one person and then the suspect has already left the scene and you have to go search an area they "are know to frequent"....just some thoughts. Thanks for all you guys do I know its a lot of work. I really hope someday Rockstar will offer you guys a ton of money to help them build a standalone game, that way we arnt "fighting" GTA issues.

Sadly this subject has been talked about in past threads, their is no fix for AI driving, it is hardcoded into the game. As stated above the best thing to do is either not call them in or set the cops to the lowest possible.

My thoughts are with the families and SAR/Response teams up there, this will have a lasting effect for years to come. I also want to give a shout out to my Red Cross partners assigned to the response, away from their families and friends for at least 2 weeks to help those affected.
