Cannot pull over random cars (got some new info)
As requested. NOTE: The fade out/in parts were only used to skip me going through the entire traffic stop menu options, scanning ID in the computer and transporting people to the police station. I didn't omit anything else. There is also about 20 seconds of black screen at the end because I forgot to reduce the slider in vegas. There really is nothing there lol.

Install and running issue
The command is ALT + P so make sure to try that. If you still have problems go through this guide here and see if you can identify the problem '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

After Downloading Lcpdfr gta IV stop? The File Stopped Working --> LCPDFR Diagnostics Tool.exe
Hi, please give more information as detailed in both the previous page (when creating a new topic in the support section it transfers you to the knowledge base) and this guide I wrote here '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Cannot pull over random cars (got some new info)
I just tested again, 10 traffic stops, all pulled over fine, in fact the algorithm for determining which side of the road to pull over to seems to be even better than before. Only one traffic stop led to the driver fleeing and that was the scripted fleeing. (I think it was the 6th or 7th traffic stop) Around the 3rd or 4th, a driver pulled a gun and attempted to kill me. I'm therefore not entirely sure why it is that you are having this problem. It leads me to think it is down to the area you are patrolling and attempting traffic stops in, move to an entirely different area and run a few traffic stops then and see what happens perhaps?

Cannot pull over random cars (got some new info)
Having a programming IDE and a database language shouldn't affect it cause I have them both too :P When I tested it, I jumped straight into the traffic stops the second I started. Maybe try on single player rather than multiplayer as multiplayer is buggy enough as it is. I used single player, but then I use xlive.dll because I never play online with GTA IV. Too many mods :) I'll run some more tests tonight and tomorrow, it may be a genuine bug or it may just be a problem you're having.

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
I'm afraid I don't know how else to fix your problem then. Having never got the DEP issue it's kind of hard to fix it without googling it, which I am sure you're more than capable of. Hopefully you find a solution so that you can play 1.0b. Or maybe a later release will fix the issue. Good luck to you, I'm sorry I cannot help you any further with this issue :(

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Ok, just for giggles, try running the game in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3. It might have a little bit to shout about that. My best advice to you though, is to get windows 7 lol.

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Briceuk, If you right click on the GTAIV.exe and the LaunchGTA.exe files, you will see a tab called "Compatibility" Go to that and check that the game is not running in any compatibility mode (uncheck the first box) and try again. While you are there you should also disable "read-only" mode just to make sure that it is definitely nothing conflicting there, and set it to always run as an administrator.

LCPDFR 1.0 Unable equip taser.
Have you tried pressing T/Alt + T (whatever your keybind is for this) twice? You have to holster it and then equip it is what happens. Unless you have the configuration set up to auto holster it on launch.

Cannot pull over random cars (got some new info)
Checked to verify, worked straight away for me on a fresh install of LCPDFR to EFLC (BoGT). I did notice one refuse to stop entirely rather than stop and then go again. But cancelling the traffic stop and recalling it on the same vehicle worked fine. Seemed to be an issue with pulling over on the road I was on as to why he never stopped. Check to make sure you have no other script mods working with it, and that you definitely don't have a conflicting version of LCPDFR active at the same time (such as 1.0a and 1.0b)

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Right, ok. I am genuinely a little bit confused right now. Wait, are you running the game in an XP service pack at all?

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Welcome back, Your scripthook is still doing bugger all. Try using xlive.dll rather than dsound.dll and see if that helps. I am a little confused as to why scripthook isn't initiating the threads.

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Well if you quote me in reply I will get a notification because the auto follow thing doesn't seem to notify me very well xD (I follow every support topic I reply to) hopefully it works, good luck and glad I could be of some assistance :)

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Hmm, ok. This will be a pain but reinstall GTA IV, and then install LCPDFR 1.0b and then run the diagnostics tool to check your installation again. Yes I know it's a pain but it usually fixes most problems.

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Yup, much clearer, thank you :) Ok so your root directory looks fine. Have you tried to run the game as an administrator?

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
You look like you're having a whale of a time :D Can you please screenshot just your directory, because it is too blurred if I zoom in lol. On windows you have the "snipping tool" you can set that to rectangle snip, or window snip, then save the image and upload to here :)

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
You have a problem with scripthook. In your log it loads and then instantly shuts down after detecting the game version, instead of displaying this [iNFO] [scriptHookDotNet] Thread started [iNFO] [AdvScriptThread] Thread started Can you upload a screenshot of your GTA IV directory for me please? As well as listing any other mods you might have installed.

Gta iv crash after lcodfr install
Hi, None of the logs you have attached actually indicate an error or crash of any kind. So what I recommend you do is to install lcpdfr 1.0b, and BEFORE you launch GTA IV, run the diagnostics tool packaged inside the LCPDFR folder, get it to check your installation and see if it reports any errors. Let me know how that goes for you, if you need help with the diagnostics tool you can find a nice tutorial in this guide I wrote '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

LCPDFR 1.0 completely stops working sometimes.
?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> Read chapter 4 of that guide, then come back and give me some information and I will help you. I can't help if you just say "It doesn't work"

Can't Run LCPDFR on Win 7
You are missing advancedhook.dll from your root directory. Make sure it is located in the same place as your gtaiv.exe and NOT in a sub folder.

Lcpdfr 1.0 not installing
You should really go and read the other forum posts from users who have this error and managed to solve it. Alternatively you can read this really nice guide that I took the liberty of writing. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Super Awesome Video Thingy.
You could always open the console with ~ and type "fixcar" or whatever the command is. Just saying (cause I share the OCD of a smashed headlight)

Trouble using LCPDFR
There is no stupidty in asking for help if you are stuck with something, in fact. That is the very best thing you can do. And I can promise you there is at least 10 other people on this forum who will read this thread and be helped by it. Stupidty is sitting in a corner complaining it doesn't work and expecting it to magically start working. :) I am glad that I could help you, enjoy :) EDIT: I breached 400 posts today :D
