  1. Ahh right ok, well that's good news. As for the taser thing, I am a little stumped at this. You're definitely pressing ALT + T twice? (once to holster it, twice to equip it)
  2. Try disabling simple native just to be sure. Also, now that you can arrest again. Start slowly enabling mods one at a time, then testing, so you can see which is causing the problem.
  3. Log details a non LCPDFR related crash. What I would do is try to remove some of your other mods, especially ones with keybinds. and see if they are causing a conflict.
  4. Well the taser controls are ALT + T. And arresting someone is aim + E. Get your diagnostics tool to run a check on your installation and get back to me :)
  5. Ok, you need to fully uninstall LCPDFR, make sure to remove the entire mod from GTA IV. Version 1.0b has the latest hotfixes included within the new installer. So whereas before you had to install 1.0 and then 1.0a on top, now you only need to install 1.0b on it's own. I recommend you do this so you don't have any slight clashes between the two versions.
  6. Hi, welcome to the forum. I've gone through your logs, and can see a few random crashes every now and then. But nothing to relate to the taser I don't think. Have you definitely uninstalled all previous versions of LCPDFR correctly? Are you running any other mods at all?
  7. For future reference guys, it's probably better to create your own thread as you may be having slightly different issues, that way it makes it easier for people to determine who is having what issue and makes it far quicker to provide help. :) I will try my best to answer you both here as you have already replied. Have you tried running the diagnostics tool to ensure you have installed it correctly, this guide has a whole chapter on checking your installation using the tool. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Chances are you could be missing one of the key dependencies which is why when you press ALT + P nothing happens, yet your game runs fine.
  8. Go through everything in this guide. When you have studied chapter 4 in detail come back and provide me some more useful information please, then I will be able to help you. www.lcpdfr.com/topic/29275-lcpdfr-common-errors-and-quick-fixes/
  9. I actually really like this idea. Good suggestion :D
  10. Great I'm glad it's working. Enjoy :)
  11. Click the "advanced mode" checkbox, fixes that issue.
  12. Nooo my poor squidy :(
  13. Hi, You most definitely need to update GTA IV to the latest patch (1.0.7.0) you can find that here http://updates.rockstargames.com/patches/gtaiv/title_update_7_EN.zip When you have done that, reinstall LCPDFR and then run the diagnostics tool to determine if the installation of LCPDFR was correct, and that you are not missing any dependencies. If it crashes trying to read the logs, it's because you haven't generated them yet. Running the game will generate the log files.
  14. YOU MURDERED THE SQUID :O
  15. Hi, Could you provide some more information please. Such as a screenshot of your GTA IV directory, and other mods you have installed and which version of LCPDFR you are using (automatic or manual install that is) Thanks.
  16. Hi, The only thing I can see which is an error related to LCPDFR is this line [CPedExtension] GetPedFromPool: Invalid handle: -7825151 This is actually a rare occurance so wont likely be the cause of frequent crashes, as a result I can't make very many recommendations as to how to solve this issue. My only recommendation would be to try reinstalling LCPDFR in the hopes that it will clear the crash. Sorry I can't really be of much more help.
  17. Hi, Can you upload your log files please, also try running the diagnostics tool packaged with 1.0b to verify your installation. You can find a self help guide here '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  18. No, it doesn't need a modifier. It just needs the numpad / key "ToggleSirenMode=Divide"
  19. You should get lights flash but no siren noise. You should check your keybinds in the LCPDFR settings to make sure the / key is correct. Oh, and its the NumPad / key, not the one on the main keyboard.
  20. Hi, The feature you looked at is a default feature in LCPDFR. Pressing the '/' key by default turns on light modes without a siren. This will make cars pull over in the same way as they would with a siren.
  21. Great, glad I could help. Enjoy :)
  22. Right ok, my apologies when I google searched your card it said "mobile graphics" which usually means laptop chip. I'm not an AMD expert at any point so :) Nonetheless I would try uninstalling a few of your mods just to see if that works. The more mods you install the more unstable GTA IV becomes. And on a dedicated card you should not be getting an FPS drop that much. Especially when the LCPDFR script is doing something very trivial like writing to a log file.
  23. Try uninstalling your ELS and vehicle mods. You're running on a mobile non-dedicated graphics chip which is why you're getting frame drops. Scripts don't generally affect FPS unless they're spawning objects or texturing things, in this case it is merely writing a warning to a log file which uses RAM not VRAM. VRAM is what is dealing with your framrate. I'm assuming that you run this on a laptop, it doesn't sound like it is built to cope with so many mods.
  24. You're welcome, it is what I'm here for.... I understand the whole internet issue, definitely do this when you have better internet. But also definitely back a clean backup so you can do it at any time then regardless of internet. (yes ok HDD rpm is a factor then but nt so much as bandwidth) The log files you should have are as follows: asilog.txt advancedhook.log advancedhookinit.log lcpdfr.log The diagnostics tool will read these and output them to a single log file (which I cannot type the name of because it is not a universal name) A good idea would be to run GTA IV when you have installed LCPDFR (if the diagnostics tool is crashing) so that GTA IV can attempt to run it all, at least then you will either have some log files or you will have all of them with a nice error report for me to digest and spit out a solution to :) In terms of things to check, go through this guide I wrote and make sure you have all the files etc. It's quite helpful for fixing common problems '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  25. LCPD:FR is spamming which is lagging my game down and it only clears up after reloading scripts That "spamming" as you call it happens to everyone. I get it, the error logs I have read from others all have it. It doesn't affect performance that I have ever noticed. What are your system specs? Do you have other mods installed?
