  1. I assume it worked for you then? Everything inside the folder LCPD First Response needs to be outside of that folder in your GTA IV directory. Otherwise it wont work.
  2. Take a screenshot of your GTA IV directory and upload it here for me to look at please. You're getting far more errors than you should be. (Please note my next reply may not be for several hours as it is 11pm in the UK, I need to sleep, I will reply as soon as I am awake again though)
  3. Yep, common issue right there. You need to run the diagnostics tool, click the "Advanced Mode" in the bottom left corner and then click check installation. When you've done that you will have to browse for your GTA IV folder. Run a check on it and it should tell you what to fix.
  4. Ok well quote me when you get back, I'll likely be asleep when you're back with me being GMT 0. But I'll reply to you as soon as I am awake again tomorrow :)
  5. Hi, Have you tried using the diagnostics tool inside the LCPDFR folder? If you get it to check your installation it will pull up any problems you might have.
  6. Ok, load the diagnostics tool again, but click the "advanced mode" checkbox in the bottom left corner. Then click to check the installation, browse folders to find your GTA IV directory and try again.
  7. Glad I could help, enjoy :)
  8. It will likely be in your downloads folder (unless you deleted it) so yes redownload LCPDFR 1.0b and install it, then do what I said in my previous post.
  9. Ok when you install 1.0b correctly, go into the LCPDFR folder inside your GTA IV directory and run the diagnostic tool. you want to click the option "Check your installation" and see what things fail. Let me know which ones fail.
  10. You're missing the .net framework 4.5 You can download it from microsoft here http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30653 Download and install that and it will work.
  11. Great I'm glad it works, yes that mod is called Simple Native Trainer.
  12. Hi, Could you please post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory for me please. Also you say none of the versions worked, does your GTA IV load up correctly with them installed but the mods don't function or does it just instantly crash?
  13. What version of LCPDFR are you using, because you are missing all of the 1.0b features. Add the line manually to your config file and see.
  14. [Main] AdditionalCopCarModels= SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;POLICE2;PSTOCKADE; VehicleTrunkWeapons=Shotgun_Baretta; AllTextMode=True AmbientScenariosMaximum=2 AmbientScenariosMultiplier=250 DepartmentName=Liberty City Police Department DepartmentShortName=LCPD FirstStart=True UsingPoliceStationMod=False DisableCameraFocusOnWorldEvents=False DisableRandomPoliceChatter=False DisableSuspectTransportCutscene=False PreloadAllModels=False Language=en-US It's right there. :P
  15. Your crash in the LCPDFR log is relating to an object that doesn't exist. Go into the lcpdfr.ini file, find the line PreloadAllModels and change ti from False to True, see if that helps.
  16. Hi, Have you checked these other threads titled similarly to yours for possible answers? Here is a couple: www.lcpdfr.com/topic/28988-my-game-crashes-after-10-15-minutes-of-playing/ www.lcpdfr.com/topic/28919-game-crashes-after-10-12-min/ If none of those provide answers for you can you please post the following information. Screenshot of your GTA IV directory Your LCPDFR.log file Your AdvancedHook.log file What mods you have installed. Anything else you can think of.
  17. I'm glad we could be of help to you, enjoy :)
  18. Perfect, right what you need to do then is open the diagnostics tool, check the Advanced mode box and then click to check your installation. Click the open game folder option and then using the window that pops up, navigate to your GTAIV directory and get it to check your install. Let me know what it says :) EDIT: missed your edit with the screenshot, right you're missing the microsoft redistributables. You need to go and get all of those and install them. Here is the net framework 4.5 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 just in case you don't have that Here is the 2012 redist http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30679
  19. Would it be wrong of me to say this is, literally breaking news? I'm sorry. It is interesting though (and tragic I know) that helicopters seem to be having a few issues lately. I know of 2 news articles from the UK within the past few months of helicopters spontaneously falling out of the sky. One in Ireland and another in Norfolk. I also recall one last year which struck a crane in London. It's almost like the old LCPDFR 0.95 helicopter AI has infected real world helicopters. My thoughts go to the friends and families of these crash victims, but I still find it peculiar, maybe I'm just paranoid about helicopters...
  20. That's great, thanks. I am, legitimately entirely 100% baffled as to why none of your script dependencies are even initiating. They're all in the correct place and should work fine. When you say you run the diagnostics tool and it says critical error is that immediately within trying to run the tool?
  21. Sounds like a good idea to me :)
  22. Interestingly your problem is not what I was expecting it to be, but your AdvancedHook is definitely not being called at all, otherwise you would have an Advancedhook.log. and an AdvancedHookInit.log. That means that your LCPDFR script (and any other scripts you have) will also not be called at all. I can't see the rest of your directory in the screenshot, so am going off potential speculation here. Do you have ScriptHook.dll and ScriptHookDotNet.asi in your directory as well? If your game loads but the LCPDFR script nor the console works then you are missing one of the very basic dependencies which calls those scripts into the game, so essentially you have the scripts installed but not actually being loaded, ever. Check to make sure your ScriptHook.dll and ScriptHookDotNet.asi are both in the root of the directory. I also notice you have dsound.dll (one of the 2 ASI loaders) so make sure you don't also have xlive.dll (the other ASI loader) because you only have one or the other.
  23. No need to take out your frustration on any particular person's way of life (such as the choice to be gay), yeah ok these problems can be frustrating but I would recommend taking a deep breath having a little think and then type out your problems. Remember, a smiley face makes everything better. We're all here to help you, so relax :) I'm not so sure about this new GFWL update thing as I haven't got it yet, but a few other people have also reported a similar problem, including the Rockstar social login page refusing connection. I would recommend for the time being to just sit and be patient and hope a new update is released that fixes the problem or if it passes. To prove my point thread 1 '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> thread 2 '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> thread 3 '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Patience is a virtue.
  24. You're more than welcome, good luck with your model :)
  25. It's supposed to freeze that's a feature of the police helper. If you press X again it will close the police helper back down and unfreeze. You might want to set your game's resolution in the police helper configuration file so that it will register your mouse properly.
