  1. Yes you need to install the C++ 2012 (86x not 64x) As for the ASI loader, yes you only need one of those. Also be sure you have either dsound.dll OR xlive.dll (not both)
  2. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Read chapter 1
  3. No I was quoting your error. Go to your GTA IV directory, open the LCPDFR folder. And you will see "diagnostics Tool". Run that, click on Check your Installation. Post the results.

  5. I said 22 seconds!!!!! "When you get chance watch that video (22 seconds long)"
  6. Do you have any conflicting mods installed which might have changed a file afterwards? Or do you have a conflicting version of LCPDFR? I would perhaps suggest uninstalling all mods, reinstalling GTA IV and then installing LCPDFR 1.0b on it's own just to see, a conflicting file could have caused it to stop working.
  7. Did you follow the exact instructions for installing the taser? they can be found here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> It's not appearing at all for you which means it hasn't been installed correctly, you may have slightly typed something wrong when editing the files or missed a step and so it doesn't appear. The hotkey for the taser is just T by the way. you press it once to turn it on and then it acts as a toggle between taser and hand gun.
  8. Could not load file or assembly 'AdvancedHook.dll' or one of its dependencies Have you tried running the diagnostics tool packaged with 1.0b to check your installation? You might be missing a prerequisite.
  9. Hi, I have some answers, read the rest of the forum? I'll answer each of your points with why you should read more: 1. That feature was added to a plugin, Callouts+ literally 20 minutes ago. I should know I wrote the script. 2. That feature was also added to Callouts+. 3. F is default to get in/out of a vehicle so would conflict with most people. Take your time when pressing/holding E, it works fine. 4. He walks away from the vehicle on to the sidewalk and stops, like they would in real life. 5. I like this suggestion. 6, 7, 8 and 9 were added by other plugins for LCPDFR to my knowledge. 10. Exploding cars? 11. That's an issue with your system not the script. If your system can't spawn it quickly enough it will clear it, try setting "PreloadAllModels = True" underneath [Main] in the LCPDFr.ini file.
  10. It was doing in the GTA IV video editor, I manually placed the camera there. Sorry to disappoint :)
  11. It certainly was a drunk driver lol. So drunk he formed a solid block as he hit the deck. I lost it so much when it happened, was expecting him to get out, stagger a bit then fall over. Not freeze up and fall over like that. xD
  12. Update Released!!!! That's right, callouts+ version 0.2a is now available for you to play with. Please report any bugs or glitches to THIS THREAD, as it is much easier to format replies :) Again as usual, please remember this is still an alpha so things may be a little odd in places or glitchy. Download Link '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Thanks :)
  13. So I was playing LCPDFR testing Callouts+ development stuff, but at the same time partly playing the game to test how well it would stream to twitch (turns out rather well actually) I saved this as a snapshot in the GTA IV video editor because during the game I had to pause after this 'event' because I lost it. I giggled so much. So, without further ado, the greatest dashcam video ever.... For those who care: I am using the default settings for the CryENB, I just applied a colour correction in sony vegas while rendering this video so it wasn't so vibrant and cartoony. (still need to adjust the ENb to my liking)
  14. Have you completely removed all previous versions of LCPDFR fro your directory before installing 1.0b?
  15. Could not load file or assembly 'AdvancedHook.dll' or one of its dependencies. You're missing a dependency. Use the diagnostics tool packaged with 1.0b to check your installation, it will tell you what is missing.
  16. In all honesty I would stay away from water cooling, it looks awesome yes but if it goes wrong at any point and it isn't covered by a warranty then bam. Dead pc. If a fan dies you'll know it's died cause it wont be spinning anymore (duh) so you can just power off, replace it, power on again. The only difference between a good water cooling system and a good fan setup is the noise, fans generate more noise than a water cooling system does but other than that the temperature change is almost negligible. (to the die hard fans (no pun intended) of either setup, I am comparing two different set ups of fans and water cooling that are around the same quality) I have 5 120mm fans in my case, that excludes the power supply's fan, the CPU's fan and the 2 fans mounted onto my GTX 760. My case temperature doesn't exceed 26 degrees celsius even when playing something like GTA IV with CryENB. So my advice to you is to get decent quality fans and you'll be alright. If you are going to go with water cooling, ensure you can get a lifetime warranty of some kind which protects the entire PC so that if you screw up or the water cooling system fails, you will only lose your data and the parts will be replaced.
  17. Yes they do but they are quite rare. They are usually obvious when they occur though, listen out for the "Pull over asshole" megaphone voice, if you hear it, look in the direction the sound comes from and you will see an AI cop pulling over a car, LCPDFR style. Those two are hardcoded to spawn there by GTA IV and have nothing to do with LCPDFR.

  19. Yeah your scripthookdotnet.asi isn't being loaded, otherwise it would have a log file. You might be missing DirectX so go and download and install that and try again.
  20. That's ok. Did you install the visual C++ 2010 (86x) or (64x)? You only need the 86x and not the 64x Also run the diagnostics tool again now that you have installed that and see what it says is wrong.
  21. Yep that's all fine, it's loading the scripthookdotnet and advancedhookinit files. What about any other log files?
  22. You're welcome. I have no idea what you just said, is the error gone and the game fixed now?
  23. Right ok, are you running the game as administrator, with read/write privileges to the directory? If so post all of your log files that you have in your directory to here and I will see if there is anything being caught that is crashing.
  24. Hmm, have you checked to see you definitely have the latest version of directx installed?
