LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 "Error in script 'LCPDFR_Loader.Loader'!"
Those are system files that need to be installed to the operating system's area not the gta iv folder. Can you post a screenshot of your gta iv directory please.

1.0b questions
As ineseri says, we try our best. If you have any mod issues with LCPDFR or with modding in general feel free to swing by the support forums and drop us a post. If you do that be sure to check the guidelines for posting in this section (they appear when you go to make a new post), and always try to search for your issue first. We'll try to help you out as best we can, but remember one crucial thing... The more information you give us, the faster we can get you up and running again :) With that said, happy policing :)

Unusually long loading screen
Your specs may mean that you are capable of playing GTA IV (just about by the look of things). This does not take into account the extra resources needed to run the mod. LCPDFR 1.0 is a lot more resource intensive than previous versions, so the unusually long loading times is your PC's way of saying "we can't handle all of this at once you'll have to wait longer". Advice? Upgrade your system.

LCPDFR not working
What about my other 2 questions.... Also, can you please quote me when you reply, that way I know you have responded. (the forum is meant to notify me but it doesn't always work)

Unmarked Cars question, UK preferably
Some unmarked vehicles aren't actually unmarked but are marked in very subtle ways. We have some in staffordshire which are ford focus'. No lightbar or anything but a logo on each door saying "Staffordshire Police". As far as I know they aren't used for pursuits and high priority callouts, just sort of...public relations sort of thing.

Unable to install and run
Hi, that's the old diagnostics tool you're using judging by the screenshot. I suggest you use the new diagnostics tool, and install the latest version of LCPDFR (1.0b) as the old 0.95 release is outdated and not widely supported. Let me know how that goes.

LCPDFR not working
If people have already told you what you need why don't you listen to them, or listen to the advice given in other posts? Saying "I installed the mod and these 2 things and it doesn't work" is 100% useless to me. You could have installed them to your microwave for all I know. So, what error logs have you got to show, is it a legal copy of the game with the latest patch, have you used the diagnostics tool to determine your problem? If you want people to be helpful, help them out by giving them as much information as possible.

CSHARP.Engine.Core Error
Hi, be sure to provide more information than just a code snippet please, I can't tell if you're asking for help or just showing an error code for enjoyment. Generally speaking if you want someone to help you need to give them more information. Your issue is here: Could not load file or assembly 'AdvancedHook.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found. You're missing AdvancedHook.dll, or it failed to load. This was covered in chapter 2 of >my guide here.

LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 "Error in script 'LCPDFR_Loader.Loader'!"
First things first, please put large error logs either as a file attached or in spoiler tags as it makes posts a little easier to read :) it's not a requirement but is a good posting ethic to keep. they look like this:
-
help lcpdfr crash after els 8 install
You have to add the whole line in yourself.
-
help lcpdfr crash after els 8 install
GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore! You got the above error, this means the script is trying to call a function to something which doesn't exist in memory. Usually because the ped or vehicle has despawned, or never spawned in the first place. You can fix this by going into the LCPDFR.ini file and setting "PreloadAllModels = True" underneath [Main] Please note by adding this line, the system will use more resources to spawn things in, and could cause lag.

LCPD:FR Diagnostics Tool Not Linking My Account.
This feature was down for a little while after the maintenance to the G17 media servers (where LCPDFR.com resides) my advice is to try again in a day or two. A 502 bad gateway means your pc did not get a response from the server it is trying to reach, this can be for a whole host of reasons. In this case, moving of servers produced downtime. It should be back online, however if it isn't just give it a little bit of time. You can check the server status of G17 media here http://status.g17media.com/ or if the website is down, here https://g17media.a.offsitestatus.com/

Backup stops coming/Game freezes
Hi there, To get your logs, go into the GTA IV directory (in steam this is Program Files > steam > steamapps > common > grand theft auto iv > GTAIV >) The logs we need are LCPDFR.log, AdvancedHook.log and ScriptHookDotNet.log. Feel free to post any other logs you have if you feel like they would help :), As for disabling random events, you can adjust them by changing these values in the LCPDFR.ini file: Decreasing the values will result in less ambient scenarios, increasing them will result in more. [Main] ... AmbientScenariosMaximum=2 AmbientScenariosMultiplier=250 ...

ELS V8 Help
Hi, and welcome to the forum :D With ELS modded cars sometimes come with their own configuration file for ELS. You need to place those into the ELS folder, and then inside your ELS.ini file, you will see a place where you can link to it. I'm not a guru with ELS so cannot remember off the top of my head how the .ini file looks. But feel free to post them here in spoiler tags if you want me to look at them for you. :)

How many mods do you think GTA IV an support without crashing?
You wont hurt your computer by modding GTA IV generally speaking. Computers are quite clever in knowing if something is about to go wrong. You'll know when your computer is not too happy with the mods you're using. Just be sure to make a backup of your GTA IV before modding.
-
How many mods do you think GTA IV an support without crashing?
None. It technically cannot support a single mod, they just happen to work ok. Supporting a mod would mean it had an API and working interface etc. To properly answer your question though, it's impossible to say. Mods all come with varying needs for memory, hard drive space, processing power etc. So the number of mods YOU could run will be different to the number of mods I can run. It depends entirely on your system's specification.

Game Crashes When I Call in Pursuit
No, that is a warning. Not an error. Please post your error logs. You may or may not be having the same problem, for future reference can you make your own thread please, it makes it far easier for those providing support to keep track of who has what issue. Thanks :) As you have already replied here I will do my best to answer questions. JackICe you have this error in your logs Error while initializing plugin: Callouts+: Must specify valid information for parsing in the string. at System.Enum.TryParseEnum(Type enumType, String value, Boolean ignoreCase, EnumResult& parseResult) at System.Enum.Parse(Type enumType, String value, Boolean ignoreCase) at System.Enum.Parse(Type enumType, String value) at CalloutsPlus.CalloutsPlusMain.Initialize() at freval_10.eval_fr0() You are using the latest version of Callouts+ with LCPDFR 1.0b. If you go back to the WIP thread for Callouts+ you will see I am already well aware of the crashes being caused by the plugin. These are not my fault, for some reason plugins don't like working with 1.0b. My advice is to revert back to version 0.2a of Callouts+ or wait until LCPDFR receives a new patch.

PC Controller Compatibility? (Only 360 controllers?)
Keyboard and mouse is the best way to play LCPDFR in my opinion, purely because I find the keybinds to all work straight away, with a 360 controller half of my keybinds don't work and need to be re-mapped. As far as I know the Xbox 360 controller for windows is the only supported one, however you can try to use an emulator for another controller if you wish, although this may be buggy.

Can't Play Multiplayer
Hi, LCPDFR does not officially support multiplayer, it is extremely glitchy and crashes quite often. Version 1.0 of LCPDFR is much more resource demanding than the legacy versions (0.95) and so is even more unreliable for multiplayer. I went through each of your error logs, there is no crash being caused by LCPDFR. I can see you are using ELS however. My advice is to only run LCPDFR if you wish to try multiplayer, however I cannot provide any further support with multiplayer, purely because LCPDFR does not support it itself, and I never play multiplayer.

Anybody who is good at school even being a Gamer?
Icon has pretty much summed it up. There is a strong difference between casually playing games and being addicted to games. I highly doubt you are addicted, I highly doubt anyone here is addicted. As a result, playing games casually (even if you play some form of game every day) will not affect your grades if you focus yourself. I recently got 85% in a coursework piece at university, and submitted all my other coursework pieces in on time to a high standard. And yet I still sit and play a few hours of games each night. (ftr 85% constitutes a 1st class piece of work, that's the highest level achievable at UK universities) If you are capable of saying "hmm, no, I don't feel like playing that game today" you're not addicted. If you have to play games, all day, and get anxious when you don't, that is possible addiction. And that will affect your life, let alone your grades. Don't become addicted. Take breaks, do other things. Eg, I don't play games at weekends cause I go to my dad's and the internet sucks. Instead I pull cars apart with my dad and learn how a car works in great detail.

Traffic Slowdown Feature
Depends entirely on what method you do and what speed the vehicles are at prior to hitting the radius. You clearly know your stuff so I won't insult you by going through the maths but any competent human knows that higher speeds correlates directly to increased stopping time and thus larger stopping distances. But to cut a long story short, look at the traffic lights. Vehicles get within a specified proximity to the lights then apply the brakes (if red light is showing), some vehicles stop correctly, some fail to stop in time, come to a halt after the junction and then proceed (due to the handling) to accelerate through the junction having already failed to stop at the red light. This variation is what causes the collisions in the first place, one car slows down and then the other either slows down or piles into the back of the car. Essentially what adding this feature is doing is saying "there is a red light here" or "a vehicle has stopped in front of you here" and so the AI applies the brakes. THIS is what I mean by the vehicles slowing down would still cause pile ups. Either you apply the exact same braking function to the AI when they get in the radius, and so don't even remotely alter the chance of a collision happening. Or you apply a forceful speed change to each vehicle entering the area, which will either cause more collisions or reduce collisions depending again, on prior speed. This is why I said at the end, if it's done correctly, and you get a good balance in the speed changes, it could work quite well.

Traffic Slowdown Feature
There is just one issue with this. All cars which enter the slowdown area, will slow down. (usually go from the current speed instantly to a lower speed you define) well that is great. But what about the cars which haven't entered the radius yet? Picture it like this....Car 1 enters the radius, drops from 60mph to 30mph. Car 2 hasn't yet entered the radius, still doing 60mph. If the gap between the two isn't big enough, car 2 will not go from 60mph to 30mph quickly enough and still rear end car 1. BUT let's say it does slow down quickly enough, and let's say the area can hold 4 cars on the road at 30mph. Ok, so Car 1, 2 and 3 all come in, hit the radius and slow down, begin to drive at 30mph. Car 4 comes in, just about manages to slow down but is on the very edge of the area. Car 5 comes along at 60mph, will pile into the back of car 4 before it even hits the radius. Then car 6 will pile into the back of 5, and so on and so on. You will always get pile ups in GTA IV I think, no matter how much you add slow down tweaks to areas etc. However, I do, really like the potential this idea has. If it's done precise enough, it could work quite well. But it would take a lot of playing with different speed modifiers to get a good balance. I'll keep my eye on this ;)

[API][WIP/REL] Callouts+ - Additional LCPDFR API Callouts
Thanks I appreciate it :) Yes he is, but then if it's the obvious why ask when it's done? Ask a stupid question get a stupid answer :) I'm just playing with you, in all seriousness I'm afraid I'm not actually in the knowhow as to when LCPDFR 1.0c is due, I'm on the same page as you pretty much.

[API][WIP/REL] Callouts+ - Additional LCPDFR API Callouts
All the API plugins should work together just fine, they shouldn't conflict unless they add keybinds. If you use version 0.2 you should be more stable with my plugin at least. It only seems to be the versions built on LCPDFR 1.0b (so 0.3 and 0.3.1 of callouts+) which are buggy. A new release will come after LCPDFR 1.0c whenever that happens, and after my exams. Whichever comes second. :)
