  1. Yeah and someone posted that video here a while ago too. But irrespective of what it calls itself it will never be LCPDFR :)
  2. No, my previous comment still stands. LCPDFR is a PC only mod. The one you refer to is a mimic of LCPDFR, made by someone else and not the LCPDFR devs. Therefore, it is not LCPDFR. What this guy says ^ go buy the pc version.
  3. You can't. LCPDFR is a PC ONLY modification. You should also note that modding your Xbox 360 in any form can result in a strict ban being enforced by microsoft.
  4. "Dude let me ride with you!" "sure..." *CRASH* "erm?" "Ignore that. It wasn't meant to be attached anyway" *CRASH* Immediately regret the decision to ride with AI. In a more serious approach, this could be kind of fun if you could amend the AI's driving while you were in the vehicle, wouldn't require rewriting the AI either just be a case of adding some safety guards in place. I might have a play with this after my exams and see what happens, not saying it will get done though, just an idea to toy with :) 800th post :D

  6. Not sure if you consider it a bug or not, but the vapid cruiser doesn't have flashing tail lights, the headlights flash fine but the tail lights don't at all. On the granger, fugitive and buffalo they work fine.

  10. I use the same software and what Icon says is exactly right, if you are using an ENB or any form of graphics mod it will impact on the performance of the software and cause it to crash. When I was using the CryENB the only screen recording software I could use was Shadowplay (part of GeForce Experience).
  11. I preordered the Uplay Special Edition. Basically the exact same as the vigilante edition in terms of gameplay but without all the fancy toys and bits n bobs, although I do get the steelbook case. What sucks though is I have an exam the day after release day, and an exam the day after that. So I wont be able to play it for 2 days lol.
  12. You believed the media. You're still going off the fact that you think climate change is all about the heating up of the earth. The effect of our influence on climate change has led to more than just an increase in temperatures. We had no snow this year at all, where at my dad's house we usually get 6ft snow drifts during the majority of the winter months. We've had storms more recently, more severe flooding, stronger winds etc. Go to somewhere like Turkey, and they've had shifts in typical weathers too. If the entire investment was based on a theory that failed why are we getting these shifts in normalities? Why are the ice caps actually melting? Why is it that pollution within the atmosphere is getting worse? Why is it that costs of resources are going through the roof? Whether you like it or not, these things are happening, the data has recorded those things. Just because the media says "say goodbye to the snow forever" doesn't mean that is what the scientific data showed. these things are happening, and we need to do what we can to stop them happening. Otherwise we will fall down into a hole we cannot get out of. 200 years. No more resources. And you are still saying "don't spend the money on science, spend it on infrastructure". I agree, that other things need funding too. But don't detract from the fact that we need the scientific research to improve the conditions we live in. Because if you ignore them what are you going to do if they turn round and say "we told you so". Like I said before, we can recover from an economic collapse should it happen. But if we deplete everything and leave this planet in a state that we cannot control, there will be no recovery. And we can't just jump ship and pick a new planet. "lol, restart"
  13. Yes there is a difference, but one causes the other. There is a small town in Wales, coastal where my friend currently lives. Recently the entire coast was destroyed due to huge amounts of flooding caused by messed up jetstreams which altered the weather, we got more rain than we are stereotypically perceived to get. Their predictions may not be 100% accurate, but if they are coming out with those predictions to begin with something isn't right. And what if we don't make all those investments and turn out to be wrong? If we invest all that money into research NOW, and it doesn't happen, we've got a huge foot in the door for research, and can better our futures anyway for when the obvious happens, like destroying all the trees. But if we invest now and it does happen? We survive. We can recover from spending huge amounts of money, we can't recover from destroying the earth. I would rather like to live thanks.
  14. We weren't around all that time though were we, and those things were natural occurrence which we cannot control, but have studied the effects of. In the space of time that we have been on this planet we've taken nearly everything it has to offer us, and we've ruined it. In approximately 200 years from now we wont have any natural resources left to use, and the current rate that scientific technology is developing means we wont be around for much longer after. So what do you propose we do then really? "oh I wont be alive then so it doesn't matter" great, shall we tell the future generations that too? "Oh son, I'll be dead before then so it's not my problem, good luck" wonderful. But the population of the earth won't stop increasing just so we can think about this, the population will continue to expand, we will continue to deforrest huge areas to use for living space and eventually we will be outputting so much CO2 that we won't be able to breath because we cut down all the things which make oxygen naturally. So what about that idea? I feel very strongly about this topic, we need to attempt to do something to better our future rather than sit idle and take the attitude that it's all made up. Our solar system is halfway through it's life, in another 4 billion years our planet will no longer be capable of sustaining life, let's not kill it off.
  15. Full details are posted on the download thread. You should read those. Short story, yes.
  16. I'm glad you've managed to solve the issue, mark the post "solved" whichever one you see fit as the best answer for the problem and it will be tagged as "answered" on the forum :) Enjoy :)
  17. I'm not too sure why you're getting that error to be honest. Have you checked to see that GTA IV is running as an administrator to see if that helps?
  18. I can see you have several mods all installed, and you say they all work fine. Have you tried running the diagnostics tool inside the LCPDFR folder to see if it can detect the issue? Run the diagnostics tool first and let me know what it says.
  19. You've likely made quite a serious installation error. LCPDFR 1.0b and subsequent versions all support EFLC just fine. Can you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory for me please?
  20. Hmm, strange, diagnostic tool isn't spitting out any errors with the install so you have the dependencies and it is obviously reading them. Can I see your GTA IV directory please? You say you did a clean install of both GTA IV and LCPDFR, but did you wipe out your GTA IV folder before reinstalling? Your ASIlog.txt has this line "ASI loaded : C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IVGTAIVELS.asi, Address 0x00000000" Which if you don't understand, is saying it's found and loaded the ELS script. I advise you at this point to do a completely clean install, wipe out the entire directory and then reinstall GTA IV and only LCPDFR 1.0b and see if that fixes it, you may have a conflict issue somewhere.
  21. Yeah, policehelper world events are quite unstable with LCPDFR 1.0b. Nothing can be done about that other then to disable them. The ordering people out of cars crash should be fixed in the 1.0b version, be sure you only have 1.0b installed and not any other version (1.0b has all the latest patch files included in the download so you don't need 1.0 then 1.0a to have 1.0b). Glad I could help. Let me know if you have any further issues :)
  22. Hi, You get the following error: GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore! That can be fixed by putting the line "PreloadAllModels = True" underneath [Main] in the LCPDFR.ini file. The other error you get (System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'freval_193' to type 'freval_90'.) is known and is being looked into. You also say you only use 1 modded vehicle, is this ELS enabled? I see this line in your logs "ELS) Files - Vehicle information retrieved. Detected [7] ELS-enabled models." That line means it's loading the config file and 7 EMS vehicles have been read as ELS enabled. If you are use the default vehicles it would be recommended to turn of the ELS settings for those vehicles for stability sake.
  23. You have to accept the callout With 'Y' otherwise it will clear it. You can also reject a callout with 'N' should you be busy in a traffic stop or something.
  24. The error you're getting is the following. System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'AdvancedHook.dll' or one of its dependencies. is not a valid Win32 application. This means the game isn't able to load AdvancedHook.dll because of a missing dependency. Get the diagnostics tool to run a check on your installation and let me know what it says. That shouldn't make a difference, it's advancedhook which is failing to load not an asi script. Although xlive is more stable than dsound.
