This should be in LCPDFR support. Also, did you check the knowledge base first? Your answer is most likely there.

What are your system specs and what graphics setting do you have set? That might play a role in it. If you son't have a strong enough PC to run it, it may not allow certain things to work. But I'm not 100% sure on that. Also, when you open up your GTA IV root folder, where the .exe file is, do you see the two files for ELS? ELS.ini and ELS.asi?

I run LCPDFR and Braveheart's and it doesn't lag all that much. Maybe you have background programs running that sap some CPU power. Try closing as many unnecessary programs as you can. That may help.

Could you please be a bit more specific? I'm not sure I understand what you mean. When you press the key(s) to turn the ELS lights on, nothing happens? What mod(s) do you have installed? What are your system specs?

Pens fan right here! I love that all of the Philadelphia fans can be quiet now about how we never make it far into the playoffs and they do. They've gone to the playoffs every year since '79 I think, but they haven't won a cup in those years! We won 2 consecutive cups, 90-91 and 91-92. Then went to the finals 2 times in a row, 07-08 (lost to Detroit :/) then in 08-09 and beat Detroit (sorry tacobell432 and drdetroit!). I think the playoffs this year are gonna be awesome. Especially since it was a shortened season. Can't wait!! Figured I'd put this up too. lol. Enjoy!

I personally like the new tower better. Though the old ones were, well twins, they didn't have as much appeal as the new one does, at least to me. Before the WTCs just looked like any other tower, gray and square, except the fact that they were the tallest buildings in NYC. This new one though, I think is much better looking. I was just in New York a few weeks ago, as soon as I saw that tower, every person on the bus I was on went silent. The thing is just awe-inspiring in my opinion. I vaguely remember 9/11 I was around 5 when it happened. But even watching videos and documentaries about about it now still give me chills and kind of scare me. One thing about the Freedom Tower is that it is next to the pools where the twin towers stood, that place is just amazing. Truly amazing.

I've never heard of someone getting banned for playing LCPDFR in multiplayer. Any video that is on YouTube with multiple people playing lcpdfr at one time is in multiplayer, they're not banned. so Im not sure why this happened to you.

I personally don't like Family Guy or American Dad or Futurama. I was never a big fan of any of those shows. I do, however, like South Park because if a news story comes out, their next episode has jokes and stuff about it. It is just more in-your-face and balls to the wall when it comes to its' content, which I like. It is sad to see a show that has been on for so long to be cancelled, but popularity of those shows come and go.

I'm not sure how Steam installs things, but if it is anything a regular install, go to (usually) C:/Programme Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV/scripts It should be there and I think that is where the LCPDFR files go, I'm not sure. But if there isn't a /scripts folder in the root GTAIV folder, just create one and place any future scripts there.

That's pretty awesome. Now we're gonna be seeing old Chevelles and Chargers and whatnots out patrolling. Just imagine a pursuit with a '72 Chevelle SS 454. lol

So I tried the Vucko 5.0 and I too had a huge FPS drop and when it was night it was impossible to see, I changed the brightness in game and on my monitor to 100% but it was still incredibly dark. I'm going to try Game4Vid next to see how it works, any other suggestions?

It's not so much as good ELS lights, just a more realistic looking city and everything, just minus all of the FPS loss.

I was just in NY last week and I saw a freaking Prius traffic unit! I laughed so hard when I saw it. It was park out front of the mayor's office in the city. My hometown is mostly Crown Vics, we have a few new Taraus's and as far as I know one unmarked stealth Taruas which is pretty sick. We also have at least one new Ford Explorer police cars and an older Ford Explorer, it still has the older style rotary style light bar. lol. The City of Pittsburgh has Taraus's and Impalas, but no Vics. They also have Chevy Express vans for prisoner transport. I haven't seen any Chargers though... :/

I was looking at the variety of ENBs on here, and I just was wondering if there was any that anybody suggested that didn't sap FPS while using it. I already have low FPS (10-25) and any ENB I've used before has either not worked or was a recourse whore and lagged my game down waay too much. Also, I want to avoid IcEnhancer. I've tried it before and it either gives me the snowy screen, like on a tv, or just breaks my game to the point it won't start. I've tried all version of IcEnhancer and I'm just not a huge fan of it. So thanks in advance for any suggestions you guys have! PS: If there are links to other sites that's fine with me! :D CRAWFORDx96

LCPDFR is the one and only reason why I bought GTA IV for the PC. I haven't even done a single story mission apart form the very first two that need to be done before being able to play. But like many others have said, LCPDFR, while in the modding industry, may be a big thing, in the whole video game industry itself, is but a small, minute spec. I'm not meaning that in any sort of negative way, as I and everyone else here loves LCPDFR, it's just that. Yes it was featured in magazines and everything, but for it to be picked up and made by R* as part of the game or as an expansion pack for V is pretty far fetched in my opinion. It'd be fantastic, but it probably won't happen. R* is a globally know video game corporation that has their own agenda, and for them to stop that work with the LCPDFR team isn't beneficial to them. It might boost their sales, but not by a whole lot. As someone said before me (I forget who) if they were to make an LCPDFR expansion pack, its' market is fairly limited, more people want to be against the law, not be the law. Although I'm sure that if there was an LCPDFR expansion for any system, be it Xbox, PlayStation, or PC, every person on here would buy it, it just won't happen.

It's not a shitty antivirus, if its how the program is made then its how its made. It ain't a shiity antivirus if it picks up little things and alerts me to it, I'd rather it alert me than not and have something fuck up my pc. It's BitDefender AntiVirus, highly rated too.

I can't ever download openIV for some reason. But I've never had a problem with sparkIV, except for it doesn't work on my laptop, but it works fine on my desktop. Plus, anytime I go to download openIV, it comes up as a virus, never had that problem with sparkIV.
