You shouldn't thread jack. You issue is most likely in the extensive LCPDFR Support Database. @OP: Which ELS version are you using? ELS v5 was pretty stable. Apparently ELS v6 wasn't, but I never had any issues with it. And the newest current version, ELS v7, is the most stable to date, I think, and is full of cool features.

I definitely can't wait for the 18th. I don't plan on looking any of those videos up just because I don't want to spoil the game. Lol. I was at the doctor's earlier today and they had Fox News on. They were talking about the release of GTA V and saying that it, and other M rated games, should have a surgeon general's warning on it. I though that was the biggest load of shit ever. But on topic; I seriously am super excited for this. I'm gonna go down to GameStop right after school and get it and play till I gotta go to school the next day! lol.

Seems like most things nowadays, YouTube, FaceBook, and a few other sites. But oh well, it ain't like Big Businesses are gonna listen to, if they're making money, they're happy. Luckily, you guys know how to keep a high quality site up and running, and well.

I've tried refreshing but then I get an error saying that YouTube has had an error playing the video. It just gets frustrating, especially when I'm looking at sirens for my game. WHy did YouTube become sucky lately?!

So, these past few, weeks I guess, if not longer, I've been trying to enjoy some quality LCPDFR videos, among many other YouTube gems, but I don't know if it is just me, or if other seem to be having this problem; but, for me at least, anytime I go to watch something on the Tube, no matter if it is 10 seconds, 10 minutes, or 10 hours long, it never seems to load. I just get the never-ending buffering wheel of doom. It seems as though YouTube doesn't know how long to buffer videos for. Sometimes they load up right away, and I can watch in full 1080p HD for hours, but then I have trouble getting even 240p to play for a few seconds. I don't think that it is my internet connection because it doesn't matter the device, whether it's my PS3, Xbox, P desktop PC, laptop, phone, or iPod, IT. NEVER. LOADS. So, I was just wondering if any of you guys were also experiencing the horrible YouTube-never-ending-buffering-wheel-of-doom.

I'm in my Junior year of high school so that 3Ds Max class shouldn't be a problem for my Senior year of school. I was just wondering because if I am able to model in one of those programs and convert it to .3ds format from Zmod or whatever. But, I don't know how to work Zmod, so if it's just as simple as a few clicks to get it to work with the game, I'm safe, but if it's more involved than that, I'll need somebody to convert the files into working condition for the game.

I'm not sure if this is where to post this, but I am taking a course that I learn to use Autodesk Inventor in. If I create a 3D model of a car in there, could it be transferred into Zmod and converted for use in game? If so, how hard could it be? I agree with what A.Bowers said, they were once so big, and so dim. And they weight a large amount. Now they are incredibly small, bright and lightweight. That's technology for you!

If you're talking a real car, and not in-game, I prefer regular incandesent tail lights. I hate it when I'm driving at night and someone in front of me brakes and it blinds me because they've got LED lights.

I'll be driving down the road and I'll be doing top speed, and I come upon trucks and cars that aren't going as fast as me, and I'll think that I can overtake them. I get through one or two before I see another truck barreling down the highway in my direction and I either swerve off the road or kill some poor bloke in an Astra next to me. It is quite entertaining, so when I get home I may see if I can record a gameplay and stick it on YouTube. Also, Harper, I love your photo. That's from Hot Fuzz, right? Great film, one of my favourites! I just checked out the americantrucksimulator.com and it says that it is the future domain for the game but it doesn't confirm production of the game. Hopefull they do make it! What are these mods called and where can I find them? I wouldn't mind driving a Kenworth or Mack down the highway.

That has happened to me as well. When the say simulation, they aren't kidding when you're doing 55 mph into a Peugeot and yelling, "Oh for God's sakes! Not again!"

I have just about the most basic Logitech wheel, so it doesn't have any sort of force feedback, so I tend not to use it, but I have been using an Xbox controller for the game and I really quite like it. I agree with you @Acegaming2153, it does get boring after a while, but when it does, I just go on a complete rampage, wrecking anything and everything! XD BUt I got nicked by a few speed cameras when I did a job in Dover. But hey, it's realistic! lol

So, pretty much all day today I've been playing, as the title states, Euro Trucking Simulator 2. I had seen a bunch of videos on YouTube of it and decided to pick it up. For being a simulation game, it is actually quite fun. It's made by the same people that made the 18 Wheels of Steel series of games, which are pretty much the same thing, but only allow for trucking in the US. Which I why I prefer ETS2, because you get to go around Europe, as the title suggests. Now, I'm not familiar with trucks in general, but I am saving up in-game for the Renault Magnum, the Stealth Truck that Jezza had when the Top Gear crew became lorry drivers, and doing the odd job here and there in game is rather fun. Yes you just belt around Europe on mostly dual carrigeways and B-roads at 50 miles an hour, but it is quite relaxing. So I highly suggest this game to those who are into the simulation style games. Now, I have heard in some of the videos that there are some mods for this game out there, have any of you guys found any that you like? If so, what are they, I'd like to check some out and add them to my game. All in all I found this game entertaining, well, as entertaining as driving a truck can be, but also relaxing, not worrying about some n00b trying to pwn me in Call of Duty. So if any of you guys that read this have played, feel free to tell your opinion of the game, I'd love to hear it!

I always see my one friend playing it when we hang out at his house and it looks fun, I just fon't want to buy it. But the more and more that I watch people play and read about it, it looks and sounds really fun. It's $20 right?
