  1. That LC Police Skin Pack looks incredible! - I love the variety in vehicles; the texture work is beautiful as always.

  3. I actually didn't notice before that the card you specified had 2GB dedicated video RAM; disregard what I said before - it will be fine. :D
  4. With that setup you could completely blow most of the things that GTA IV throws at you [that graphics card could be improved, however], though I am not entirely sure that LCPDFR supports Windows 8 - Windows 7 is the superior OS when it comes to desktop PCs IMO.
  5. Bravo!; now you're on your way to some fine gaming. :D
  6. Hehe, no problem. :D - If the Ivy Bridge processors are out of your price range, don't hesitate to opt for the barely older Sandy Bridge counterparts. I have an i5 2500k in my rig and it does all I can throw at it and then some. 7. No problem; always happy to be of assistance. :D That processor is in the lower range of Intel processors; the Pentium series is a step above Intel's lowest bracket of Celeron. The minimum specs require a Core 2 Duo [which has been discontinued for quite some time], though I'm not entirely sure where that is in relation to your processor. If you can upgrade, I would - an Ivy Bridge Core i5 is the ideal. That graphics card is also in need of an upgrade; if you want to have any chance at running GTA IV with a decent FPS then I'd recommend something like the one I currently have; an EVGA 550Ti; only about $130 new and it gets the job done.

  9. Nice work on this!; You went with an Ivy-Bridge processor; an i5 to boot. Good choice. The Radeon HD 7770 is quite the impressive card as well; should run GTA IV with quite a bit of room to spare. RAM and HDD are good as well; hopefully that is a 7200RPM hard drive if you're using it for a primary one though. My one concern is your power supply; 500w seems a bit low and the PSU is one of the most crucial components of a build - it is keeping the rest of your parts from being fried. I'd personally upgrade to at least 600w, or use the PSU calculator below to see what is recommended; http://support.asus.com/powersupply.aspx ------ Just for comparison, I have the setup listed below and can run GTA IV and LCPDFR [with supporting mods, such as ELS and an ENB] beautifully. Intel i5-2500k Nvidia GTX 550Ti 650w Cooler Master GX PSU 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black 7200RPM HDD Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600 DDR3 RAM
  10. No problem :D. PCIe 3.0 cards will indeed gain a boost in performance when paired with a PCIe 3.0 capable motherboard, but a PCIe 3.0 card will still run well on a PCIe 2.0 or 2.1 motherboard.
  11. This is beyond awesome! :3
  12. Very nice; I don't think you'd get too bad of a bottleneck though the possibility is always there. I have an i5 2500k paired up with a 1gb 550Ti and it runs fine for me.
  13. You've done an incredible job, Ceril - though I'm sure you know that already. The equipment is nicely done, and I can't wait for the ELS-H version. :D
  14. Most video cards don't need PCIe 3.0 and will run perfectly fine on 2.1 or even 2.0. The 650Ti is backwards compatible as well if I am not mistaken. It appears as if that laptop has graphics integrated onto the motherboard rather than having a separate card; usually integrated graphics are good for just general browsing and not intensive gaming. My guess would be no, it would not play GTA IV.
  15. Really nice!; I love the vision lightbar and ELS-H capability.
  16. The third one is your best bet; it is the Driver San Franciso model and has all the bells and whistles you could want. It looks perfectly fine when using ELS-H modes as well as standard ELS modes as well.
  17. I'd have to disagree on this one; though a large amount are done there are still some holdouts. A DSF model CVPI with a HighRise lightbar for example.
  18. My local Law-Enforcement department is the NYPD; I feel rather privileged. :D

  20. Just snagged myself a Uniden-Bearcat BC346XT scanner for Christmas off of ScannerMaster; get to listen to my closest NYPD precinct now. :D
  21. Ceril, that looks freaking amazing!
  22. How did you get the lightbar to mimic the NYPD's older clear/red color-scheme?

I've always been a fan of the LVMPD's most recent vehicle paintjob as well as older vehicles. It came to my attention that I could combine these two with some effort; the texture before you is the answer. It can be used with these models by gfxle; http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=941 [Federal Signal JetSonic Lightbar] or http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=957 [MARS Skybolt Lightbar]
