I get to drive one of these for a few days
Oh, I thought when you said that there were no lights, sirens, or racing chips, you meant that you bought the civilian version and then converted it to have all the "legal" aspects of a police car. What further confused me is that all of those pictures posted were actual police vehicles, so I thought that you were an officer using some sort of "trade-in" service for police cars. Is the top vehicle the one you are actually using? It looks awfully similar to a real police car, but you can't tell whether it has lights or sirens, but you also said that the one you are renting is "like" the one in the picture.

Disable/Limit assistance at chases
I can agree with you that 0.95 was a huge improvement in backup in pursuits compared to 0.91, but since I only managed to build a PC capable of playing GTA IV by the time 0.95RC1 came out, I can only say that because I was an avid fan of LCPDFR videos before I managed to obtain the mod itself. After watching quite a few 0.91 police chases that ended in the vehicle exploding due to the cops continually ramming the vehicle, I was delighted, to say the least, that my first pursuit ended with a few cop cars and my car cleanly boxing in the suspect vehicle. No shots were fired! More intelligent police is another feature for GTA V that we all could look forward to.

How do you manage to rent a police car unless you are a cop? Are you renting the civilian version of the car?

Disable/Limit assistance at chases
Yeah, the main problem in those type of pursuits is that the cops in real life would probably keep a safe distance, and would be careful and coordinated (usually) if trying to forcibly stop a suspect. Due to the AI of GTA IV, though, the cops are all more or less used as battering rams in the game, and no amount of tweaking to the script can fundamentally change that aspect of them, or so I assume.

problem finding "games for windows live redistributable 3"
Wait, doesn't Games For Windows Live come automatically- or at least it's required- for GTA IV? It did for me. Were you offline when you installed the game?

New Intense Shooting Video and Misc calls
Did the LCPD get bailed out or something? Pursuits must be a breeze for you- a helicopter probably isn't even needed!

certain cars not working?
You should still be able to edit files in Notepad. Is this just for the GTA directory, or your whole computer? Actually, most .ini files are opened with Notepad. How would the text reader format for files affect their stability, anyways? Perhaps someone more informed than I can help answer this question more completely.

certain cars not working?
Since you are already reinstalling the game, this suggestion is probably null, but if you didn't yet, I would suggest you uninstall each script/vehicle modification you have one at a time. Usually, you can pinpoint the problematic modification that way. Since you say you already are reinstalling GTA EFLC, I would suggest you install one modification at a time, and each time you install you run the game and play LCPDFR for a few minutes to check for any errors.

new patrol video!
Nice video! You have much more patience than I do when clocking radar. I can never do that, so I guess you're more cut out to be an actual cop than I am!

Disable/Limit assistance at chases
This probably wouldn't have been a problem for you in 0.91, but in 0.95, one feature added was police cars driving around near a pursuit automatically joining as backup. As Tom and Sharp have said, reducing your traffic density and using some sort of Traffic Loader should ease the problem. I myself can't get enough backup during a pursuit, especially for fast cars!

Textures Not Loading After LCPDFR Startup- Please Lock!
Well, I managed to fix the problem. It had to do partially with LCPDFR, and partially with the Traffic Fix. All I needed to do was set PreLoadAllModels to equal True, and to *properly* install TrafficFlowV5. You can close the thread now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

New Computer
Or, if you have the money, and can wait a little bit, you could try to wait for the Geforce GTX 600 series to come out, so that you don't get burnt in the long term.

My first GTA Crash video
When I think of GTA crash test videos, I just think of 30-second clips showing cars getting beat up. Your video is what I would call a showcase- a masterful showcase! Like everybody else, I especially like the music-mashup; it fits the footage enough so that it doesn't sound tacked-on. Good job!

new intro! feedback please!
I see you took some inspiration from NB! :p. Its a very nice intro, but I would suggest that you make action more of a theme in the video, and include different sirens. YouTubers positively dislike anything vanilla about GTA. Besides, siren modifications should never destabilize your game unless you somehow manage to mess everything up. EDIT 2 (Off Topic): I was just looking at your profile, and you have the same graphics card as me, but in everything else, your parts are more powerful. I would say its time for an upgrade, but its only been 6 months with my PC!

Textures Not Loading After LCPDFR Startup- Please Lock!
As I've said in my original post, the total size for my fbi car modification's .wtd and .wft files is 3MB, and my polpatriot modification's total size is about 1MB, compared with about 700KB for each original file's size. EDIT: I have not changed any skins for the car modifications.

Textures Not Loading After LCPDFR Startup- Please Lock!
I can acknowledge that I have installed a few additional modifications rather recently. What I meant by saying that I didn't install any new modifications when the problem started is that I had gone through multiple playthroughs of LCPDFR with all of the modifications mentioned before the problem started. I do not think the additional modifications should be a reason for the error, as even when they are not spawned, and I am not using them, the problem persists. I also must add that I cannot select more than three player models now. I If I force LCPDFR to start, the problem is nonexistent. I think it has something to do with teleportation between the lawyer's office and the outside of the station.

Taxi bug?
If it didn't work there, try putting it into the scripts folder. I think that is where the modification is for me.

Textures Not Loading After LCPDFR Startup- Please Lock!
EDIT: Never mind about LCPDFR being a possible cause for this problem; the whole game gets wonky with textures not loading, including IVDashCam and the FirstPerson mod along with textures. The problems seem to be sporadic, so I think its best for me to attempt to get support in the modifications board. If its possible, could you move it there? Hey guys, I have an error that may correlate with LCPDFR; after choosing a model, I get an unusually long loading screen, and once I return and load back to choose my car, the loading times become long. Once I spawn back outside, the textures are not loaded, and when driving around, they load very slowly. When this problem started, I hadn't installed any new mods, and the only program I installed, (and subsequently uninstalled) was WeGame. First of all, my system specifications: AMD A6-3650 MsI Radeon HD 6770 1GB Kingston 1600 4GB RAM I understand that a similar problem was brought up here on the support forum, but the person with the problem had only 2GB RAM. Modifications: LCPDFR 0.95RC2, SNT 6.3, IVDashCam V2.1, ELS V6 (AI lights off), TrafficLoad 1.2, 3MB FBI car modification, 1MB polpatriot car modification Any support is greatly appreciated. I must reiterate that I had not installed any new modifications when the problem started. Is it possible that residual information from WeGame (C++ Redistributable 2008, for example), would be the issue? Thanks for any support. I'll attach the diagnostics dump if it is necessary.

Taxi bug?
Ok, here is the modification: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/real-traffic-spawn-102-f4404. Once you have installed it, you need the change the setting of MAX_CARS_SPAWNED= from 36 to 9. It may not work since this traffic fix is geared towards IV and not EFLC, but it worked for me. It also may slow down your system. Can you confirm that you have at least 3GB RAM and 1GB VRAM?

Did I just see this correctly!?
If you place your camera at just the right angle when the officer is talking to the person pulled-over, so that it is zoomed in on the officer's face, you can hear the lines that we use when we pull people over!

Good recording programs?
Currently, like SIR_Sergeant, I'm also using the free version of Bandicam, simply because it is one of the best free video recording softwares to use that is not a limited-time trial. From there, I might pay for the full version or use another client such as the aforementioned WeGame, but that all depends on how much use you will have with recording videos of LCPDFR and any other games.

Taxi bug?
I've had the same problem as you, but I have it fixed now. Unfortunately, TrafficFlow didn't seem to do very well on my computer, so I installed another mod called TrafficFix, and modified some settings. Now I have a wide variety of traffic with car modifications. I'll give you the link and instructions for changing the settings if you want me to.
