  1. Nice video! I do agree that the intro was extended, so next time you can start recording when you have set up your officer and vehicle. Also, if you think you are spending too much time just driving around, you can force a callout by pressing Alt+F11. Other than that, the video was great.
  2. Which graphics card is it/you want? I currently have a Radeon HD 6770 I bought when I built my computer for ~$100, and it can run GTA EFLC at 30FPS on high settings, and probably would be able to run smoothly if I tuned settings down to medium with a screen recorder. Can you monitor your revenue through AdSense? EDIT: Which ads do people need to click on for you get revenue from clicking the ads on the video? Are they the pop-up ads on the video? I know YouTube has a Partnership Program, but that is only if you manage to build up a substantial audience.
  3. You survived in the video, so that counts as a pass! Luckily you aren't on hardcore mode, or else you might have been dead in that scenario! Could I make a suggestion to this and future videos? I've noticed that your frame rate is a little bit slow, so try turning down settings while recording. Other than that, your videos are great, and I hope you are successful!
  4. Well, in 0.95RC1 there seems to be a much lower chance of reviving downed suspects/officers, at least in my experience, so is this problem resolved?
  5. While the AI sometimes are a bit too aggressive, they are a big help now, in that they can box in a car without ramming it until the suspect vehicle breaks down/catches on fire. I've had a few pursuits where I lose visual (due to the suspect pulling away as I attempt to take him out), but the AI keep up and manage to have the suspect arrested cleanly by the time I arrive. For now, I think the AI are nearly the best they can be in terms of manipulating the AI driving behavior code.
  6. As said before, you cannot solder in a new graphics card into a laptop. I'm assuming you want a computer that can handle GTA IV; you will need to buy a new laptop, or use a capable desktop.
  7. Yes, it is possible to get shot at from vehicles in 0.95RC1, even when not on a callout. I think it is a rare occurrence now, as I have only had it happen to me once as of now. I was in a pursuit with my partner when the passenger shot at our car and killed my partner! This caused me to allow lethal force and call in the whole of LCPD and NOOSE to assist me, which, needless to say, resulted in two dead suspects. :turned:
  8. Sorry if I am "highjacking" this topic, but I have also noticed that chases do not upload to Crime Statistics either, even when taking account the 6-hour rule. Is this a bug, or is it intended until the official release of LCPDFR 0.95?
  9. I had a question about this error. I was wondering if I would get this error if I parked a TBOGT Multiplayer vehicle in the save spot, such as the Police Cruiser (Buffalo). Is it safe to park TBOGT cars in the save spot and reload the game?
  10. Does this mod work with v1.1.2.0 of EFLC? It looks pretty cool, and I want to try it out.
  11. Ok, thanks. I'll try doing that. For some reason my copy of EFLC won't start up; it's saying something along the lines of "Fatal RESC10 error, out of video memory, please reboot your system" I have two more questions. (Sorry!) First of all, would I put the text file in my EFLC folder, or should I put it in the "TLAD" or "TBOGT" folders? Secondly, in my EFLC folder there already is a commandline program. Would this text file overwrite that one, or do I need to delete that file? Thanks.
  12. I was wondering what the commandline format looks like. Would it be ok if I just copied and paste what you posted? Also, does there have to be any specific extension when I save it? (e. g. .reg, .txt

I must be sounding pretty idiotic right now, aren't I? I'll go ahead and see if the game works on my computer; if it doesn't, I'll try another computer, but the purchase will not hurt, because it's only around ten bucks. Thanks guys for clarifying a few things. I would use our local desktop PC, but the sad thing is that it is half as powerful as the laptop I"m using right now.

Is the problem that my laptop is not powerful enough, or the fact that its running through a virtualization system? If you think it won't run for the latter, I heard that most PC games run at similar speeds on PCs than at Macs. EDIT: Also, is it ok that I only have Windows XP Service Pack 2 instead of Service Pack 3? You guys sound like it's ok, but I just want to know explicitly if it's fine.
  15. Now, this may sound kind of stupid, but I currently have a MacBook Pro from 2009 with a 2.26 GhZ Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a capable graphics card also running windows through the Parallels virtualization service. Specifically, my PC OS is Windows XP Service Pack 2 (for some reason SP 3 won't download). I was wondering if GTA EFLC and LCPDFR will work on my laptop. Thanks, and sorry if this was a stupid question.
