Custom cars are higher quality so game can't load them in time so it's copy just one car. Some what right, High Poly cars Overload the games Allocated memory, Causing the game engine to freak out, Thus spawning a shit ton of taxis. So avoid custom cars what have over 2mb overall memory .wtd and .wft files. Still wouldnt work, Once the High poly car mod is in the games memory, your memory is toasted... Reality traffic mod can help, but it's not work with everyone. The way I know of it is to bind the Horn Key to a sepearte key, I have mine binded to Caps Lock, So I hit Caps Lock to turn on the Reg siren to have People pull over, And the G key for ELS (I rarley use it, Only for Highy way responses and prusuits due to it being dangerous having ppl pull over so fast on the highway)

This Is Hot Fix and may or may not fix you problem, And may as well cause Stability issues, Go into your games directory and open up, LCPDFR.ini, Open it using notepad, Find the line saying: PreLoadAllModels = False, Change False, to True, So it should look like this: PreLoadAllModels = True, Save, Close, Enjoy If you need a more in depth TUt, Let me know, JAM.

Nope, Both mods never touch any of the vehicles, if you have the stock Cars, They will stay the stock cars until YOU mod them your self through Something like Spark IV.

This is a semi Hot fix that has been known to fix the issue, however be wanred, it may or may not fix the problem and may cause in stablity, Go into your games directory, Go to the LCPDFR.ini, Open it up using Notepad, Find the line: PreLoadAllModels = False, Change False to True, So it should look like this: PreLoadAllModels = True, Save, Close, Enjoy, If your newer and need a more in depth Tut, let me know. Uhm, What was the point in making this thread?

I have been figuring out and researching this for a long time, Yes you can get a wheel to work on Gta 4, But there are some catches.... First off, If your lucky, and you plug it in and it works right out of the box, You will most likely find a HUGE dead zone before the actuall wheel turns, Theres alot of issues with it, Do a little reasearch, Google is your friend, From What ive seen its sucha huge hassle, That Im not even going to attempt it now.

Did you select it? LIke click on it? From the Pick it looks like your in the / Folder, Could be wrong, If its completley empty you might have to re install....

Is the Siren your trying to replace named: HORNS.ivuad. Also, Make sure your doing the right steps: Run Spark IV as admin, Scroll down to PC> SFX> Type in filter res, Find Resident.rpf, Double click on it, Import the file, Save/rebuild, Exit ALL of Spark iv, Run the game, Enjoy, If your already doing this, Im at a loss, Not really the best with Spark IV errors sorry bud, Hope this helps at least, JAM.

PS: Some things that might help you out, Run the game as Admin, Update your game to the most current patch, Etc.

I higly doubt it, While I could be completley wrong, LCPDFR Seems to be the Main focus for G17 and its a HUGE project within its self, Even after .95, There might be newer versions coming out, Again, I could be wrong, But I think there sticking with the current theme to really perfect it.

Correction: Any topics in the LCPD First Response Section Are meant to be Strictly about LCPDFR, Any other Content modifications such as, Cars, Scripts, Sirens etc, Even If there Police Related, Are still, Not LCPDFR related, While yes, It IS a Police mod question, it is still another mod, Not LCPDFR, Remember, LCPDFR Was meant to run on a vanilla (stock) Copy of GTA IV or EFLC without any other modifications... Other mods do work with it, There just not supported by LCPDFR.. Dont mean to go over board, Just letting you know bud :happy:

Thanks Bud, I really Apreciate it I agree, Honestly, We ALL here have benn "n00bs" and died for help, But the problem is, Theese people want it handed to them on a silver platter, When WE had to LEARN the ways of fixing Gta, I had a friend Who I acutally bought GTA for him so he could play LCPDFR ask me a few questions, But then He go in patient, And asked me to do it over Tv, I said sure, Did it, Never got a thanks, Just a, Kthxbye, Theese people, If they dont understand it, Learn it, If you REALLY want to Enjoy a mod, game, program etc. So bad that you have to Come onto a thread and Post topics like "OMFGH GUIES I NEEESD HEELPPSPS!11!!111WQ" And then dont follow simple guide lines that help you LEARN and FIX the problems,Then Idk...., Im glad I was able to learn Gta and this mod, I can pretty much fix my own problems, And that didnt happen Over Team Viewer..... /EndRant While I some what agree, This mod is free, Its not paid for, G17 do this on their free time as well as this wonderfull comunity, While I know some would LOVE to just simply hop on Team Viewer and do it for some one, They never learn what to do, Then, For every VERY small issue (HELP!!11! need TV buddy to show me what keys do what!?!) would be plasterd everywhere, The whole support system would be thrown out the window, And the system actually works..., The only problem is, Some people Just dont listen, And dont do what they need to do..... While yeah when doing something small, It can be easily looked over I agree, The Thing is, Police Officers are meant to stay as professional As possible, Cussing, Spitting, Belching etc are looked down upon because it makes look un professional, I remember Haning with my on duty friend in a D.U.I task force, I offerd him gum, He said no Due to the fact there not even allowed to chew gum because it would look weird with an officer walking up to your window chewin his jaw off.
