Known Issue, This is a hot fix that usually fixes most peoples issue that cause this, however, Be warned it may cause stability issues. Go into your Main directory, Go into your scripts folder, Find LCPDFR.ini Find the following sentence: PreLoadAllModels = False, Change False, To True, So it should look like this: PreLoadAllModels = True. This will, Well, Like it says, Preload all the vehicle models, So you shouldn't be stuck standing there while the game loads the car, This is usually cause by High Poly Car mods, But It can still happen with Low Poly Car mods, Hope this helps, JAM.

First off, Your welcome bud, And I think its a whelen liberty LIght bar, So that might be the reason why the top is Grey, Anywho, Err, I wouldn't suggset importing them all, Maybe one or two, Not in the Police 1, Or police 2 spot, And to tell If a car has a high poly count, Just look at the details, Inside and out, Does it have a ton of stuff on it? Get into first person, Look around on the inside, is it super detailed? Has A ton of "Extra" stuff like computers, Coffe cups, etc? If so, Its probably a high poly car mod, Find one that has a very simple interirior, And Decent stuff on the out side.

As far as your response to my post, BxBugs Has VERY HIGH poly's on the inside of his vehicles, Which really do cause some problems, There was another L.A Crown Vic, I used to use, Ill link it to you, it is red and blue, But has no push bar, Sorry. As far as your response to Tom, Ill go ahead and reply, Just to clear it up, Yes, You CAN rename it, and then replace, However, make sure your replacing a simaller model, Noose would be just fine, Also, Setting AI in the .ini to 0 will just make it to where the AI do not use the els lights, There sirens will activate, But the lights wont show, It causes less lag and less possiblity to crash, JAM. Alright, Well, Its been stated before, LCPDFR is meant to run on a version of GTA IV unmodded, LCPDFR is not causing this, Your 3rd party mods are, ELS are probably the cause of your crashes, The Texutre loss is obviously caused by your High Poly Car mods, What happens is, The game tries to load all the polys, But, It cannot, It runs out of Game memory, Your memory gets toasted, Then, Textures, models, Map images etc. Can No longer load into the games memory, Thus causing texture popping and loss of textures, So what to do? Remove some of your High Poly car mods, Only make a few, I actually only have one car modded, And I just use it Since Its my favoirte, Its also not a great Idea to mod Police 1 and Police 2 since they spawn regularly, Other than that, There not much you can do other than resort to lower poly car models, Hope this helps, JAM. EDIT: as far as the vids, They probably have a great ammount of Vram, Or have a certain system down, Like me, Where I only have one modded, For the guy with all cars modded, Again, he might have a crazy good system, or just deals with the loss of textures over time.

Do you have spark IV and know how to use it? Or are you just wanting to know the file path? Well, I can help you with both, But Ill help you with the end part. EFLC is kinda weird with the directory locations, You have the Core game files in spark iv first, Then, TBOGT, And TLAD. Since your modding the FBI, You want to scroll down past a long list of text (htmls) Until you can see cdimages, open that up, Look around, Are all the regular GTA IV vehicles there? If your not sure, In the filter type fbi, And see if it pops up, if it does, your in the right one, If you mod this, it will mod it for both TLAD and TBOGT, If you want to acsess the Other vehicles from tbogt, you will have to navigate to those directorys. There was a topic about this some where, Cannot remember, Anywho, One of the Devs satated that When the mod is enabled, The taxi function will not work regardless of assigning it to another key, So you'll have to quit LCPDFR while in game, to use the taxi function, You could always spawn a car? Errr.......Your post is confusing....Please be more specific, Doesen't really make any sense.

LCPDFR Is meant to run on a clean, Un modded version of GTA IV/EFLC, I suggest you just do this: Get Gta installed,Make sure its working, Have fun with it for a bit. Get LCPDFR, Play it and LEARN IT, Its not a simple mod, It takes some time to get used to, Don't get into all the un needed stuff like modded cars and un necasary scripts, Wait till down the road, When your confident to do it, Don't let other s*** mods mess up your first time experiencing LCPDFR, Its perfectly fine stock, Trust me. JAM. PS: When you DO start adding other stuff in, Don't over do it, Do it SLOWLY, add one mod at a time, And start from there, See if it runs good, Then, Add another if you want, Over doing it doesen't make the game fun, How you play it is what makes it fun, You can easily F*** Up your game just by adding one simple crappy mod, And its never fun to re install...

ALT + T puts the taser on your duty belt, ALT + T Again pulls it out, Fire it like a normal gun, Dont hit T anymore.

For car mods, This was the video I found a while back, Got me started imediatley, For car mods, you will need Spark IV installed: http://code.google.com/p/gtaivtools/downloads/list As far as other mods, Theres a few small catogories, Car mods (listed above), Script mods, and mods that replace stock game files, Asi etc. While that's not all them, Thats just a few off the top of my head. Script mods are as simple as drag and drop, Literally, Same with ASI mods, Mods that replace stock game files are as simple as replacing a file. There are SO many tutorials out there, Youtube, Gtapolicemods.com, Gta4moding sites, Etc. Take a look around, You'll find what you need.

This, Mod requests almost never get fullfilled on this site, Due to it being centerd around a certain mod, While there are mods hosted here as such, This isint a main stay of public GTA modding such as other sites, You will probably have more luck on sites centerd around various mods for Gta IV, And not just one mod, Such as Gtapolicemods.com, Gta-4mods.com, Etc.

LCPDFR, Runs Exactly the same on both games, Except for EFLC has A few more cop cars isnstalled, I Always suggest EFLC Due to more polishing and extra content, But truthfully there both the same, TBOGT Is my perferd game, TLAD Im not exactly in love with.
