Yeah re installing windows is the last thing you wan't to do... I know in your main post you already stated your running a legit copy, but since you can't update it, it seems as if your using a crack, your sure your not using a crack or something? Because we only support legit purchased copys of GTA IV.

It's no worries bud, also, I suggest you watch some vids on it, and look through some of it's content that it has to offer, me personally I always reccomend it, and I use EFLC as of now because of the extra content and more polish, but that's up to you, but again, I recommend it.

MODERATOR NOTICE Wrong section, Should be in GTA IV discussion, moving thread... Also, This sounds like an issue with your handling.dat and your vehicles.ide, I had this issue with the pol pat, I tried to fix it but in the end I had to re validate my game cache on steam and it fixed it.

When it pops up under "How to buy", All you have to do is hit "close" underneath it, and the pop up will go away.

Traffic Load, you can edit how much more traffic you wan't by increasing the vehicle multiplier in the .ini, Suprisingly enough, It ALSO has a ped multiplier as well, Which I have cranked up to 4x the regular ped ammount, Great mod, Love it, very diverse traffic, Here is my .ini so you can see:

If it's ELS Enabled vehicle, You need ELS for the lights to work properly.

Are you using Xliveless or Dsound?
