hey im new to GTA 4 and LCPDFR and im having problems going on duty so i did a report from this website (the results are listed below). I am very confused on how to download and fix pretty much anything to do with this game so if possible when someone replys to this, can you give step by step instructions for EXACTLY what i need to do.

Reinstall the mod, run as administrator and make sure the files and folders within your gtaiv directory are not read only.

You are missing an asi loader (dsound or xliveless) and the scripthook tool which are both essential to running the mod, they should install when you run the lcpdfr mod installer (AS ADMINISTRATOR)

before installing watch this:

I went ahead and deleted everything for LCPDFR and LCPDFR itself so that way i could just start from square one again. At the end it said "download failed" (it didnt do that when i first tried to download it a week ago) and these are the "reasons why it failed" (i really didnt know how else to word the last part of that sentence, haha). Please help me fix all my problems. - Thank You

make sure your GTA4 directories are not read-only

hey man i got it work and thanks for the help, but do you know of something i can download to make the game less sluggish and laggy? for example, when driving a car i press the turn button and there is like a 1.5 second delay untill the car actually starts to turn, and when the emergancy lights are on they flash very slowly almost like they are in slow motion. - Thank You

Lower all your settings, try the commandline fix.

If all above fails, its time to upgrade your rig.
