Are you using ELS again or no?

I have tried with and w/o ELS and I am still missing the names. Also my game is crashing randomly now so I think I just need to do a fresh install.

The street names under the minimap are an ELS feature for ELS enabled vehicles as Justin said.

You can also press T to view the street name you are on or you can download the google maps style minimap mod.

Ahh so they will only display in the drivers seat of an ELS vehicle. That makes more sense then.

ELS V6 adds that function, you might have changed the setting for it in the ELS.ini file:

DisplayLocation = 2 // 0 Off / 1 Only on with info. panel / 2 Always on when in a vehicle

Setting it to 1 will only show the location when you have the ELS menu open (where you change light patterns), setting it to 2 should show it whenever you're in a vehicle.

As I stated at the very beginning, only ELS V6 has that function, if you're using ELS V5 or earlier, you won't be able to see your location.

Seems to have resolved the issue, I remember going back to ELS 5 for some reason, that's about when they disappeared.
