I've also had issues with transport backup not working when called via the API. Would be nice to get an answer on this. @LMS would be most likely to know the answer.

A couple questions for you regarding ads: If one makes a donation, are ads disabled for their account? Have you considered signing up for the Amazon affiliate program? You could have a page where we could click your Amazon link before making a purchase, giving you anywhere from 4-10% of the purchase. A lot of us buy a lot of computer hardware on Amazon so it would be an easy way to help you out. Have you considered bringing your ads in line with AdBlock's acceptable ads policy, thereby getting on the default whitelist? You might get a lower CPM for the ads you show, but would be reaching more people.

In the LSPDFR API, use Functions.GetWorldZone (or something like that). Then you can get the county property of the worldzone object, and check if it's Los Santos (city), Los Santos County, or Blaine County.

Got the basics working. I'll also add a submenu and option to place additional backup types on the submenu. As an example, I added a police bike option so you could specifically call one when desired:

Calling for LSPDFR transport backup isn't available through the custom menu, because LSPDFR doesn't offer that ability through the API. You'll have to either keep the default menu enabled and put the custom menu on a different key, or I would really recommend installing Arrest Manager which has a much better system for picking up suspects you've arrested.- 378 comments

The FIB slot behaves weirdly with sirens. I think it slows down the tones or something like that. Only certain files work well in that slot.

Should I be seeing a transparent spotlight? I did install the carvariations.meta and the vehicles.meta. Also, the headlights don't look quite right when turned on. Other than that, great model! Any chance you can make the takedown lights on the lightbar come on when you turn on the spotlight?

May I have your permission to edit the textures to be SAHP? I can either upload them as a separate texture pack, or send them back to you and you could include them in the download. For those of us who prefer to play with lore agencies.

At least around here, all firefighters are at minimum EMTs, and every engine company has at least one paramedic. They do wear regular firefighter gear though, not separate medic uniforms. I will definitely have the firefighters start administering treatment when they arrive on scene, and then hand off injured peds to EMS for transport (if necessary). I'm looking into even spawning the hospital bed prop (closest thing I could find to a stretcher, I didn't see any kind of backboard props) and putting injured peds on that.

I would guess that IsPlayerPerformingPullover returns false once the vehicle stops? I'm not 100% sure though. You can always read Vehicle.Speed and check if it's 0, although that will be 0 if the vehicle stops and then starts going again while trying to find a spot to pull over, so it may not be ideal.

Next feature planned: ability to add custom entries to the backup menu. This will allow you to request specific units when you want them, like calling for a motorcycle cop, or calling for a bearcat instead of general NOOSE backup. Question: would you rather have custom-defined entries go on the main menu, or have them in a sub-menu to reduce clutter? Maybe have an option for whether to put it on the main menu or not?

Haha, see I'm glad that @nicks0112 is including the other lightbar variants because I'm not a fan of Arjents personally. I'm digging the Whelen Edge (I think the model is honestly closer to a Whelen Liberty though) which is one of the options. I'm definitely excited for him to release it too; sounds like it'll be a couple more weeks while he works out the bugs but it'll be sweet once it's ready!

There's a slicktop without siderunners, and two models with different light bars. I think at least one of the options you'll be happy with.

I would like to eventually have a GUI to simplify the process. But it was a lot of work just to develop the mod in the first place.

Seriously. I'm getting so damn tired of this. What happens: I wake up. Look at LCPDFR, see a cool new model. Think "nice, can't wait to download that tonight and play with it!". Go to work. Think about how much fun it's going to be. Get home. Model is gone. Cry. A small but persistent number of people in this community are so obsessed with keeping total control over anybody so much as making a crayon drawing that looks like one of their models, and it really ruins the fun. Come on people, it's a video game. You didn't create the original models of the cars, you aren't an engineer for Whelen who designed that lightbar. We're here to have fun. Directly ripping off somebody's complete model and pretending you made it, that's wrong. But if somebody uses a small component of your model, a small piece of a texture, or something like that... as long as they give credit, what's the big deal? It doesn't make people look cool to be the only one releasing nice looking models (by shutting down the competition), it makes them look selfish. Pim, hopefully this is a misunderstanding and your model will be up again soon. I guess I need to start immediately downloading any new models so I don't have to worry about them getting yanked.- 221 comments

Which model is this? I could have sworn earlier today I saw it uploaded, now it appears to be gone from the downloads page. Edit: Nevermind. I see the model was taken down. I can only assume why -
Can you use the ambulance settings? The rotators will have reddish coronas but it's close enough to amber that with amber glass it should look decent.
