You know, it's possible for both corrupt police and heroic police to exist. Police brutality, militarization, and lack of accountability are serious problems which need to be addressed. The existence of those issues doesn't in any way minimize this officer's bravery; likewise, his heroism doesn't erase the real problems that exist with policing in the US today. The sooner people stop ignoring facts to take "sides" and start looking holistically at these nuanced and complex of issues, the better.

The coast guard doesn't operate any "destroyers", but we are working on a cutter. You can see some screenshots in previous pages of this thread.

The INI file has an option for whether to recall the first responder or not.

What do you mean making it in simple native trainer? The trainer isn't really an appropriate tool for map making.

Well I certainly hope it's not for LSRD, considering that project is run by a lying, stealing, dishonest thief. What ever happened to the tiller truck though? Already some people have worked on adding a ladder to the default fire truck, but nobody's made a tiller truck yet (besides your WIP one) and that would be truly amazing.

@Mbarnwell In the latest beta update I added blips for the various coast guard locations around the map. The LS Station is the one you've seen in many videos near the marina in downtown Los Santos.

Building editing is a pain... I hate it... but I love the results! Coast Guard Station Paleto Bay is getting closer: Still left to do: collisions on all the newly added terrain/docks around the building, adding quite a few props and such to make the area a little more interesting, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. Core layout of the building/docks is more or less complete.

So you're complaining that pursuits aren't fast enough because you made your car too fast? Why not go back to a sane handling line that doesn't give your police car unrealistic acceleration and top speed?

Considering that my last post was about how much longer it took to develop a particular feature than expected, I'm going to take a wild guess here and say no, there probably isn't an update on a release date.

Well this has taken a lot more time and been a lot more difficult than anticipated, although I've learned a lot and am quite happy with the result thus far! Not quite complete, as I've yet to add some of the parts around the edges (currently there's a see-through cliff haha), and need to add some more details. But the core station building is nearly complete, with working lights, full collisions, working ladders, station signs, etc. Special thanks to @OriginalNewbie and @magiobiwan for working on a Station Paleto Bay logo!
