State Police, in the US, also handles road policing (in fact, one common name for these agencies is "Highway Patrol"). The public typically knows them as the guys who hand out tickets. The US doesn't really have a federal police force. Canada has the RCMP, which is a police force with nationwide jurisdiction. In the US, agencies like the FBI and US Marshals Service aren't police forces; they enforce laws, but they don't have the "maintain order" function of regular police (nor do they patrol). There are "federal police" agencies, but they have very well-defined jurisdictions. One reason for this is that almost all US criminal law is at the state level; technically speaking, if you murder someone, unless they have some federal role, the federal government can't prosecute you. EDIT: And for "police state", think 1984.

You can use G for lights/sirens if you call the car police3, police4, or policeb. For stops, just flip a coin or something, or use mdc.lcpdfr.com (NOTE: this is a SEPARATE TOOL from LCPDFR; learn how to use it before you substitute it for checking on the ingame computer).

I'm pretty sure it's not irreversible. You can still go back to default vehicles.

It depends on time I have to code (which depends on my homework/extracurricular load). I currently have only very minor improvements; now that I have some specific info, I can get to work. @Custo: Since I don't play MP, can you do an MP game that triggers the exceptions, and then, before starting a new game, send me the SpawnCars.log file, if it exists? (If it doesn't, I'll send you a version that logs where it is in the code). Also, is it crashing the script, or not?

I've noticed the lights issue; I'm still trying to work it out. Also, to make sure you eventually see them, I could try marking them as mission critical until you get very far from them or you see them. I'm not sure how that'd work, though. The 5 car limit was just a safety valve so that they couldn't possibly spam you; I may get rid of it in the next version. Also, how do people like the Chances system? Are people figuring it out, or is it confusing?

It has a cap of 5 spawned cars that exist at a time. If it wants to spawn a car but it has 5 already, it will delete the oldest one that is not visible and is not too close to the player. In addition, they're marked as not needed. EDIT: Double post, sorry.
