I know that someone had successfully exported the police belt, and could spawn it as an object in SNT. I think that's what he's talking about; I think he took a civilian model, attached the belt with the trainer, and used it as a detective. I just posted in his thread asking where he got the belt.

When I look in the SHDN console, it says, as part of the LCPDFR initialization text, "Luxart Emergency Lighting System: True". What does LCPDFR do with ELS? Is there a particular reason it detects it?

All depends on what's technically possible with V.

Even better would be if modelers could agree on a standard template for all versions of the same car; that would make skinning much easier.

Alt+F11 forces a callout; there are only a few kinds of callouts in LCPDFR.

I'm not even editing it in GIMS; all I'm doing is selecting the wdd and wtd, exporting to openFormats, and importing the odd and otd.

It's a known issue; it'll be fixed in the next release.

I'm trying to edit ped models; SparkIV literally cannot do what I need. OpenIV is the only one with import/export to odd.

Press the Shift key, not numpad 1. Numpad 1 only plays the speech; Shift actually starts a traffic stop.

What do you mean, the troubleshooter doesn't work? I just tried it; it works perfectly. If your configuration is supported, it goes to the page that lets you post a topic. If it's not, it directs you to the support guidelines, which has an easy-to-understand list of common issues. EDIT: Try not cursing; it makes people want to help you more. EDIT EDIT: @Harper: moderation tools don't work on phones? Why not?

I *believe* that GTA works with XP. You definitely need Windows, though.

You still haven't posted in the right section to get help. Take a step back, do the troubleshooter, then post in Support. There is literally an entire section devoted to helping people that you've just ignored. EDIT: If you don't want to try any more, reinstall GTA, don't install LCPDFR, and BAM! If anything can fix your game, that will.
