Well backup.xml is just an LSPDFR file for when you call for backup, that'd probably be easiest to start with. Otherwise, search for dispatch mods (here's one: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/better-wanted-level-system-police-spawning) and mods that edit popgroups.ymt and popcycle.dat like Cops Back on the Beat (google it) and probably some others.

You'd have to edit dispatch.meta, backup.xml, popgroups.ymt, etc.

This isn't the original texture but it's darkened and doesn't look like you have a miniature sun in your car. And it's still plenty visible in game, despite appearances.

Here's a video showing how to do it. Walk to purple marker on map (think there's only one at downtown and one at Sandy Shores) and press E

You can do both, but spawning off a menu is only available at a couple markers on the map. Also, I can't see those images.

Walk up to an AI cop and hold G, or go to one of the map markers for and press E for create a partner. Edit: correction

That's the builtin LSPDFR callout manager, not the plugin.

Ah ok, thought you had tried that one, I was like well I'm stumped, that gameconfig has never failed me.

Thanks, part of the problem is with no modifier key if I accidentally hit that check ID key, I get stuck in that animation, which can be slightly annoying/deadly if you're chasing someone or being shot at. Adding both the modifier and toggle would be ideal, imo.

Could you either remove the animation from the dead ped ID check completely, or make it a toggle? Some modifier keys for stuff would be great as well.

okay, check dlclist.xml in update.rpf\common\data then. most likely you need to re-add the dlcpack.

Patches don't break vehicle mods. You probably just need to put a gameconfig.xml back in. I recommend the following (1x traffic 1x peds gta 5 base folder): https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars

Already been done. but then if you install a custom siren that didn't 'fix' it you have to do it yourself anyway.
