  1. edit vehicles.meta in \update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 search for the modelname you replaced change the diffuseTint line to: <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />
  2. Means the keys for ELS won't work. You enable it to prevent key conflicts while doing other stuff and thangs.
  3. Couldn't see that far down the file list in your screenshot so I took it for granted. Shit happens. Glad you got it working.
  4. if you right click AdvancedHookV.dll and select properties, do you see an option to unblock the file?
  5. looks good, do the pushbars have collisions? had to ask ;p
  6. Well that's fucking weird. Scroll lock is always disabled by default... pressing it to activate it is what 'disables' ELS keybindings. Oh well, glad you figured it out.
  7. Have you tried running RagePluginHook as admin (right click the .exe, run as admin)? Does it prompt you to 'unblock' any files? It looks like you got everything installed but that AdvancedHookV.dll file is being blocked for whatever reason.
  8. I thought for sure that was it. Do you have an AdvancedHookV.log in your GTA5 folder?
  9. Welp, I'm sorry to say I don't know then. I had this problem the other day because I move files around for specific mods and forgot the AdvancedHookV.dll. ELS said it was loading via the ELS.log, but asiloader reported a failure. No UI, press J and no sirens. Putting the .dll file back fixed it.
  10. Try unblocking the AdvancedHookV.dll file via right click\properties and make sure your ScriptHookV is the latest.
  11. what does your asiloader.log say? The ELS.log lies.
  12. AdvancedHookV.dll is in the ELS archive "INSTALLATION FILES\Grand Theft Auto V". Just extract it to your desktop, and copy/move it to your GTA5 folder.
  13. there's your problem. Make sure you have "AdvancedHookV.dll" in your main GTA5 folder. This is what happens when you don't. There should be two AdvancedHookV files in the main folder. AdvancedHookV.dll and AdvancedHookV.asi.
  14. disable steam screenshots or change the key to something else in settings -> in-game
  15. post the asiloader.log from your your main GTA5 folder
  16. it's not just that, but it looks like you can see the actual 'texture' of the siren (video is in the spoiler)
  17. correct, just rename the .xml file to the same name as the model file of the addon.
  18. yeah, that's all you have to do, assuming you've done everything else correctly.
  19. Appreciate the update, but there is something 'off' about the bottom front bumper sirens on the slicktop. I'm going to replace the emissive texture with the one from the lightbar version and see if that looks better, but just thought I'd mention it.
  20. Kilyin replied to t0y's topic in Legacy
VisualV replaces the visualsettings.dat with one that has dull sirens. Just install the optional RadianceV compatibility file that comes with it or reinstall whatever mod you use for siren emissives.
  21. I couldn't remember what skins it came with because I replaced them, that must be one of the defaults. No problem.
  22. Strange, can you change the livery with a trainer?
  23. Yeah, they both replace police... so you could just install this into the lspdpack DLC.. \update\x64\dlcpacks\lspdpack\dlc.rpf and drill down to lspdpack.rpf where the vehicles are located. You'd also need to change the sirenSettings for police in the carvariations to "1" in that same dlcpack.
  24. No, I think that's ELS causing the glitch if you have it installed. In the ELS.ini set ElsTrafCtrlOn = false to prevent it from happening. I don't think they tested the traffic functions too thoroughly.
  25. Oh, well that's all I did and it worked. I dunno.
