  1. I forgot a quotation mark before the 990 yesterday that took me longer than it should've to figure out.
  2. Well, speaking from experience, bad carcols edit won't cause your game to crash on startup (and I don't see any errors there), worst case you'll just end up with sirens that don't work or look strange. The only thing that'll do that is a bad carvariations or vehicles.meta edit.
  3. I put it after 989. lol... I have a lot of 'custom sirens'... but numerical order doesn't matter... long as it's in the sirens section.
  4. @Chris B 1B 86 @POLICESCO The sirens carcols were only reflecting environmental light to the front of the car. It's fixed in the below carcols entry:
  5. Here you go. I changed the lightfalloffmax and falloff exponent to 40 and 20. Original were 120 and 10 respectively.
  6. \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\lspdpack\dlc.rpf replace the model files (make a backup) in vehicles.rpf and edit the carvariations.meta (make a backup) to change it to siren 1 etc Addon is a possibility if you know how to do that.
  7. Wish I could help. Someone good with police models should definitely collaborate with tk0wnz. His work on gta5-mods speaks for itself.
  8. You'd have to replace the police model and make the .meta adjustments within Captain14's DLC.rpf... or disable it.
  9. yeah, main thing is to get all the closing tags and make sure you're in the <Sirens> section. Not really hard if you take your time.
  10. Made siren 1 from this carcols into siren 990 in my own modded copy. Copy and paste, change a number -- if you're careful. Then just assign siren 990 in carvariations.
Nice model, nice extras, good lighting pattern. Installation may be tricky for those with existing modified carcols as of this review.
  11. Yeah you're right. I messed up on the carcols, too many mods trying to edit carcols now, particularly siren 1. I fixed it, and everything looks good now. My bad and my apologies. You might think about packaging this as a DLC to avoid carcols problems... most people aren't going to want to overwrite the whole file.
  12. Edit: Pay no attention to the following comment, carcols was not installed correctly. Looks good overall, but you have a 'ghosted' red corona flashing in the right front bumper light. The coronas on/under the side mirrors almost look like they're sitting outside of the housing as well. Laptop screen is a little bright. Using the included siren 1 carcols setting.
  13. we must convert Gump to using coronas.
  14. try this in update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
  15. Oh it's definitely working... haven't tried the slicktop but this one definitely does.
  16. Have you checked first person since adjusting the diffuseTint?

Does it do that every time? The stack mismatch detected? Can you launch GTA5 without RPH? Not really a lot of information to go off for that specific error.
  18. I'm not the best at photoshop, you might wanna source that somewhere else ;)

Do you have anything in your \scripts folder? What do the ScriptHookV.log and ScriptHookVDotNet-date.log say?

That was just a launcher update, they didn't touch GTAV.exe. It still works.
