  1. I got it on GTAPoliceMods, I don't have a link for it, just search man. Watch the first 5 seconds of the video, guys. The headlights flash.

  3. ELS is capable of making headlights flash, the flashing headlights just needsto be a texture that's incorporated into the downloaded car and they become part of the light pattern. I have a couple of them that do it, one of them is showed off in an early YouTube video I did before the "walkthroughs".
  4. Hello all. I've had a lot of people request the skins I had in my LCPD:FR videos on my YouTube channel before, and I made a couple new ones in the last few months, so I'll go ahead and show them off here, and any new ones I do will be posted here as well. FYI: I do not take requests. I do these mods for myself and then release them if people request them in large numbers. I'll start with my latest work. Liberty Country Sheriff's Department CVPI You can find it in the downloads section of this website. Liberty City Police Department State Police CVPI You can find it in the downloads section of this website. There may be more to come later. Enjoy.
  5. Very good looking, sir.
  6. Apparently ELS applies, un-applies and re-applies textures and model "extras" that can't be seen in order to make the lights blink, so with each blink, the car resets itself to its original state. I don't mind the bug actually.
  7. Sad that there doesn't seem to be a way to prepare for both. If only every street could have a "GTFO OF MY WAY" lane for emergency vehicles only.

  9. We don't have any way of confirming that his statement is 100% true, nor does Rockstar. A re-install isn't THAT huge of an inconvenience. Anyway we're beating a dead horse here. I'm going to go ahead and close the topic now.
  10. Individual ELS cars do that depend on if the author made support for it.

  12. Higher numbers don't mean that the card is better. A 7450 sounds better because of the high number. Heres an example: An nVidia GeForce 9600GT is the same performance as an nVidia GeForce 8800GT, but it runs with slightly lower power consumption.
  13. It would be nicer if people would stop worrying about rep.
  14. I already posted a picture of that a couple of weeks ago and a couple people told me it was fake. I drove on that highway every day to work for several years. The person who had their car sticking up in the air deserved it. Horrible driver.
  15. Those are both pre-built ones that Best Buy sells. The first is an HP Elite, the 2nd one is a Dell XPS. They both have horrible graphics cards. I'd go with the HP since it at least gives you a quad core. The i5's you find in stores are only dual cores. But either way upgrade the graphics cards and power supplies.

While the black & white skins I've had for a while are fun, I wanted something a little different for highway use, so I decided to work on something else with a new color pattern. I tried silver, and tried gold sheriff badges, I tried new stripe designs, and they all seemed to fall short of expectations. After getting a bit frustrated, I tried a new color scheme and modified the font a bit and came up with what I have here. I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. The reason this is a beta skin is because it's not 100% perfect. Right now it's "good enough" for release. I may release a "final version" if enough demand is made for tweaking something. All credit for the skin goes to myself as the materials I used were all created by me short of the original CVPI shape, which was created by Ford and the basis for the Sheriff star which resembles that of the Cook County Sheriff Department.

Hello everyone. There are a lot of good car skins out there for the various police car mods, and a few Sheriff skins that look nice, but none of them looked quite the way I wanted, so I decided to create my own. This is something I'll be sharing with everyone. The skin itself is inspired by the Napa County Sheriffs Department CVPI's in California, with a little bit of my own spin on it. This is designed to fit most Crown Victorias for GTA IV, but has only been tested with BXBug's CVPI. This skin may be used freely in game, but may not be modified or re-uploaded without permission and credit from myself. You can contact me on the LCPD: First Response forums at www.lcpdfr.com, or via my YouTube channel, 'predatordes'. Credits: -Rockstar/BXBugs for the skin template -Ford Motor Vehicles for the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor -Napa Valley Sheriff's Department for inspiration -Adobe for Photoshop Creative Suite 6

  17. From what I understand European ambulances don't drive quickly anyway. They drive really slow because they supposedly have more equipment inside than the US ones do. There was a lot of controversy over Princess Diana's death because some people claim if she had been in the U.S. and one of our ambulances with less equipment built-in rushed her to a hospital where they have better surgeons and doctors, she would have lived. I suppose that's all up to speculation though.
  18. *Forehead smack* No. That only worsens your situation as it doesn't run Windows. Games usually need DirectX in order to render things on screen which is a Microsoft exclusive so you'll have to partition your hard drive to install Windows on it, which defeats the purpose of having a Mac in the first place. You'll get hardware comparable to the Dell you have now. And XPS 17 doesn't mean anything other than that the computer is from the XPS series which is supposed to be high end, and it's a 17". You can spec them weak or spec them strong if you custom build it on their website, or you could have just bought one at a store and the guy there told you it would be good for games. It's certainly better than $300 PC, but what you have is not a gaming PC. Also do us a favor and don't double post. Just edit your posts instead if you have more to say.
  19. Looks lovely, but wouldn't you have to basically fold the guy in half to put him in the back and transport him to the hospital?
  20. I saw your LCPD:FR signature said you had 21 misfortunes so far. How'd you like to go for 22?
  21. People who work/shop at Walmart have brains? In all seriousness, you guys should bring an MP3 player with you or something to kill the time.
