Liberty County Sheriff Department 2012 by unr3al 1.1

Hello everyone. There are a lot of good car skins out there for the various police car mods, and a few Sheriff skins that look nice, but none of them looked quite the way I wanted, so I decided to create my own. This is something I'll be sharing with everyone. The skin itself is inspired by the Napa County Sheriffs Department CVPI's in California, with a little bit of my own spin on it. This is designed to fit most Crown Victorias for GTA IV, but has only been tested with BXBug's CVPI.

This skin may be used freely in game, but may not be modified or re-uploaded without permission and credit from myself. You can contact me on the LCPD: First Response forums at www.lcpdfr.com, or via my YouTube channel, 'predatordes'.

Credits:

-Rockstar/BXBugs for the skin template

-Ford Motor Vehicles for the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

-Napa Valley Sheriff's Department for inspiration

-Adobe for Photoshop Creative Suite 6

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

  • -Changed text on back from 'POLICE' to 'SHERIFF' with lettering similar to that on the sides of the car.
  • -Updated the 'readme' file.
  • -Updated the included screenshots.

no a sheriff is in charge of the sheriffs office the people who work for the office are called Deputys and are in a County a Police officer works under the Chief he is head of the Police department which is in a CITY so you have Sherrif's Deputys and Police Officers the two are never the same or same thing.

I beg to differ. Their job is the same, they 'police' the citizens to maintain law and order. The difference is that one does it on a town or city level and another does it on a county level, giving him a wider jurisdiction. I may make an update for this car with a changed backing, as I've already tested one on a Dodge Charger.

A sheriff is a police officer.

No, Not exactly, Sheriff has a wider area of jurisdiction such as a County, but Police is limited to a single city, unless in some cases they have another hired patrol area.
