  1. Police officers are largely unsung heroes. They are the street soldiers of my country, always in the front line every day. Most people do not appreciate them, until they need their help. That's the sad truth of things. I'm sure the same is true of our military budget. If we cut back and get invaded or attacked by another country one day, people will complain (if there's still a freedom of speech or free press after an invasion/occupation or attack) and say we didn't spend enough on keeping a large army with cutting edge technology and good training. People are hypocrites.
  2. When I read this title I was thinking this topic was about the video game STALKER 2. I was sadly mistaken.
  3. Because you got lucky and your small user base probably has reasonably good computers to run the game on. My system's fairly beefy and crashing on my own is hit or miss. Sometimes I can play for hours, sometimes 20 minutes, sometimes I crash upon launch. Script mods that manipulate a locked down game engine are not an exact science. It's been months and months since I've watched my own videos that I uploaded to YouTube, but at least 2 out of my 3 play-throughs of RC2 ended in one of the main scripts crashing, disabling my ability to arrest people or go into the station.
  4. I'd guess basic procedure for developers, although I doubt they'll do an "RTM" build and sign off on it with a Sharpie like some people... Ugh... Steve Balmer's an idiot.
  5. I post a thread in the 'Discussion' section of the LCPD:FR forums. Oh wait...
  6. I've never been outran by anything, ever, with stock Crown Vic and Impala car settings. Not even by crotch rocket bikes or the Lambo rip-offs. That in itself is actually unrealistic. Bikes and sports cars driven by skilled drivers can outrun basic police vehicles. Bottom line: learn to drive. lol
  7. As somebody who gets an average of 10-20 YouTube e-mails per day regarding LCPD:FR; No, no they cant. It's as if most people have never heard of Google or what it does. Or as if people can write to me but not read what I write several times. That being said, this topic already exists.
  8. Protip: Don't hit the caps button.
  9. Are you referring to a place that will build it for you? Or just a place to buy parts? Places that custom build for you will cost in excess of $1000 in most cases.
  10. That's some damn fine police work, Dark. Damn fine.
  11. Stellar work, man. I hope the rest of the G17 makes good use of this.
  12. A major thanks to the development, fellow testing team members, other people who make YouTube vids to spread the word and any aspiring newcomers who are diving in the the first time. We all make or break the experience for people. My videos on my personal YouTube channel have received over a combined 2,000,000 views and counting, although this pales in comparison to NBGamingVids. Regardless, I hope more people start cutting new videos of this mod as it obviously helps to spread awareness. All in all, congrats G17 and the LCPD:FR community.
  13. I hated the opening ceremony. Bejing's was way better.
  14. www.dot.tk was a good source for that if they still exist. Only catch is your website has to get enough hits for your web address to stay "active", and it's only a URL cloak, meaning you can't link to anything directly unless you want to expose the real web address.
  15. Did you seriously just suggest that a black person driving too nice of a car is probably a criminal?
  16. You can start by re-trying this thread after it gets locked or deleted, after you're done reading the rules. Can a mod please lock or delete this topic?
  17. Cool story, bro. (Had to be said.) Wouldn't be the first time an event has unfolded like that, though.
  18. Download TrafficFlow and install it.
  19. This kind of thread doesn't go here. There's a modding section of the forums. Can a moderator please move this?
  20. Only for driving and running, not traffic stops from what I understand.
  21. Love the weapon sounds, Olanov. After ending a pursuit, some lady was getting in my way constantly while I was trying to search the trunk of the car. I pushed her out of the way and apparently this angered a homeless black guy as he ran over to me, threatened to kill his "mommy" (me) and then called me a reptilian while simultaneously punching me in the face. I beat him unconscious with my fists.
  22. Must have done this a few years after his old special. As he said I remember the top level being "dayum".
  23. Depends on the tool used to do it. CS6 is pretty damned powerful. Whatever, we're beating a dead horse here. Guy's fat.
  24. The guy's left and right part of the shirt are a mere few inches of difference, so that distance fuzz rule wouldn't apply and it wouldn't explain warping. I guess I can't rule it out, but that's pretty ridiculous. lol
  25. I agree, I don't know my Harley's, but the background guy's belly and the blurred cop shirt still tell me something's up.
